Yes, its great at speed, out of town, but Ive just bought a 390 Duke. It does not like running at a constant speed in town. If you are in third gear, at say 20 mph, it judders and stutters. Its the same at lower speeds in other gears. For the first few miles in town, before it gets warmed up, it cuts out at the lights. Once its cut out, it can take a fair bit of starter motor effort to get it going again. So, Im not sure that this guy is correct when he says it will be happy in the city. In fact, mine is difficult in town, because you have to account for the erratic running, and possibility of cutting out, all of the time. As for low maintenance and cost, the first 600 mile service is not free, its £140 in fact, so this cost needs to be factored into your cost projections. Ive done about 550 miles on mine so far, Im just hoping it will get better with use, and that the first service will correct the current difficulties and faults, lets see.
In my suggestion, this review is too biased. We, don't need to know how amazing you think the bike is. We want to know how well it works, how cost efficient it is in Nepal, mileage, etc. And it mentioning the flaws of the machine won't hurt. It'll make you more reliable The review could have been far better with simple tweaks. I hope to see better reviews and that it doesn't stop coming. Good luck to this channel.
Not sure if the pretty hostess reads these comments.. but i would like to make a small suggestion to her. If she wants to review motorcycles, if she could invest in a good set of elbow guards and knee guards and body armor, and spend more hours simply riding and moving beyond the beginner level :) Fall several times even (on mud - u won't hurt yourself). the body armor we have now a days is brilliant! invest and please ride more :) watch how good riders ride, ask them questions, push a bit :) the duke 390 is a monster machine for our desi roads. my brother bought one and i'm saving up for it. i personally want to see bikers who have pushed it to its max - to give me their positive and negative review of the bike :) a hottie who can ride 'good' (no pun intended) ??? ...becomes DOUBLE hottie in a second! :) Cheers!
she is not a rider but a vj and a model... so u don't except that much pure rider ... and i'm happy that she could handle it.... and was pretty good...
Michael Webb Again, nope. The tyres are Metzelers (a division of Pirelli I believe). Marchesini is a wheel making company, not tyres (a division of Brembo).
