This episode was one of the most beautifully done episodes ever on the show. I so appreciated how lovingly they handled Tyreese's death. And how lovely was it that Beth, Bob, Mikka, and Lizzie were the ones to lead him away. I think that was such a beautiful way to celebrate all their lives. I'm gonna go cry now...

my thoughts exactly. Even though I was in tears after, and sad for Beth and Tyreese, I was like; 'wow, what a great episode'! Happy/sad. By far the best one yet.

I miss Bob most he was the most happy in it all he bummed me out the least and I friggin' loved Beth's singing
This song makes me cry everytime. The hardest part of Beth and Tyrese's death, was that they were the 2 strongest embodiments of goodness and kindness in the show at the time. And losing them back to back just felt like a silent message saying goodness and kindness cant survive, cant exist anymore in that world. Thats what i took away from Tyrese's hallucination anyway. And that made me hurt for the future of the group. Turns out it really forshadowed alot of character changes to come.

every night i play this song at 2am and do sit ups until its over. it helps motivate myself, and to know that the pain and need to give up isnt nearly as strong as some peoples lives. some people struggle.

Beth was such a sweet girl and has a beautiful voice. The episode when Tyreese died was so, so sad. I am glad that they did not let him turn into a walker. His hat on the cross really added that final touch of reality that he was now gone and would never return.

Yes love Beth, Noah Tyreese, and I miss them all, as they endured so much through this "life of the unknown"! The song is a REGGAE song written by Jimmy Cliff and I love his version as well. However Beth put the right twist on it for this type of show. It really pulls at your heart with knowing what all happened with these characters.

I just went back and watched all of season 5 again, to get ready for season 6. This episode was terribly sad; I cried so much. And it made me miss Bob very much. He was a very wise man. No wonder Sasha is so messed up. She lost so much; they have all lost so much. I can't wait to see what happens this season.

+Ophelia Voorhees This is actually a favorite episode of mine. A good view at a character with a very different p.o.v. from the rest and a different way to view dying and living. Plus it seemed like a good way to have some series favorites (either in a positive way or otherwise) kinda say goodbye to the audience.

After seeing that episode more and more times over the last couple of months, it just hit me that I can't really be mad at Dawn or be happy that Daryl shot her because Beth basically had it coming to her.
+KymanForLife I get a little choked up watching tyreeses death myself but I smile at the same time. I'm specifically referring to that final part were hes zoning out, and just looking out into the distance in the trees, and sky out the car window with all his old friends assuring him its gonna be okay, and that he doesn't have to fight anymore. and that charming, chilling, and relaxing music plays over it. I cannot even describe the feeling properly, the scene was just amazing.

Yes. 😭😭 Glenn was a fighter. He struggled during Nicolas death in Season 6. Glenn struggled to keep alive and be with Maggie. Glenn struggled through the Cannibals and other bad things like putting guts on himself, Killing walkers, trying not to get eaten, and find Maggie.
