Yeah those were my favourite episodes too. After the prison falls and Rick becomes this paranoid lunatic. Wanders around with a jacket he stole off a man he strangled in a bathroom, rips a guys throat out with his teeth, stabs a guy so many times his entire arm is coated in blood and slaughters a man with a machete

Concur, at the time people had a lot of gripes with the show. All the way back to the prison, however; rewatching it now has made me realise how excellent the show is for giving the character lots of time to develop.
Truly a classic TV show, up there with Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad & the Sopranos. Can’t wait to watch them all with my Baby Boy, when he’s old enough.

When I was a kid, I asked my grandpa once if he ever killed any germans in the war. He wouldn't answer. He said that was grownup stuff. So I asked if any Germans tried to kill him. But he got real quiet. He said he was dead the minute he stepped into enemy territory. Every day he woke up and told himself, "RIP, now get up and go to war." And after a few years of pretending he was dead, he made it out alive. That's the trick of it I think....we do what we need to do and then we get to live. But no matter what we find in DC, I know we will be ok, because this is how we survive. We tell ourselves that we are the walking dead.....

With Walking Dead, AMC created something unbelieavablel. This feeling of Survival, even if it doesnt make sense. So many people died but u still try to Survive, but why? What is the reason? SURVIVAL AND INSTINCTS are the reason, and the walking dead let you feel that. I dont know why but i think this TV-Show is another World-Wonder. You just cant explains the feels you have when watching it.

And I'm a little behind on the show, I'm at season 5 episode 4 and I'm honestly afraid to keep watching because I know some of them will die as they usually do. I've been a Walking Dead fan since the night it aired. It's 1 of the best shows I've ever seen. Music has such an incredible way of enhancing a scene and putting things into a certain perspective. This song really hit me right in the heart when it played during the episode, it moved me to tears. I've become so emotionally invested in these characters, it's funny to me how they feel like family after you become attached an have been watching them for so long. I love imagining what I'd do in their situations, I feel worried and cautious when they meet new people because the humans are just as dangerous as the walkers, love celebrating when the people who deserve to die get what's coming to them, love the moments when they find peace and comfort even though it never lasts long. So many emotional ups and downs, I've spent many Sunday nights yelling and screaming at my t.v. lol. I am going to fucking fall apart when this series is over. I need a hug lol

I couldnt agree more. I tell my wife all the time that the appeal of the show isnt the gore its the characters. You evolve with them and see the horrible things they have to do just to live in a world where there are no rules or promises. Its an epic show. Ive been watching since Halloween of 2010 and will never stop. Best show ever made. But I read the comics as well so take it from me your about to hate Negan!

And who knows what would happen to the both of them alone. Bob held them together, and when Maggie left he went to find her. The best part, his fear was to alone again and he died surrounded by people who cared for him. Good walking dead moment.

I love this show. 1/12/2020. I got out of the navy in 2005. I came home to a world that didn't want me. What I love about the walking dead is here is a group of people relying on each other to survive. No cell phones, No technology, just human relations to live. Who do you trust? Who do you like? Who do you love? Who would you die for? People relying on people to find a full life. So many people live today that can't obtain that without the living dead or human beings that will manipulate a world for their gain. Even now I would love to have someone in my life like that and I can't. This song makes me think a lot about the world and where were heading.

After this scene Bob became one of my favorite characters, and for the first time in a long time a character has died and I was actually sad they were gone, even though I miss Hershel still his death came out of nowhere and immediately a huge battle ensued l, whereas Bob died happy and proud with peace with the people he cared about. He became one of the best characters in the show and he became one of my favorites after this scene, in only just over a season. Lawrence Gillard Jr did a great job and Bob will be missed. RIP bob, you will be missed.
