am i missing something but could you had used radiant alakazam move a damage counter to fez so next turn you could had boss'ed fez and kill with dragopult
I started playing Pokemon TCG live about 3 weeks ago. I’m thinking my years of experience with Yugioh , is helping me out. I like to think I’m doing pretty well. Have beaten a good amount of meta decks using Ceruledge Ex deck.
I also wouldn’t have made the mistakes that poor guy on the first match did. Like even if you messed up the first time with pokestop, read your opps cards to see what’s going on.
Just lost to this as zard but that’s because I had really bad luck hands and didn’t set up until turn 3. Even so I was one turn away from winning if not for an unlucky iono
Last year, I did post-rotation previews for every meta and rogue deck. Here’s an example of one. ua-cam.com/video/JedpLAoUaWA/v-deo.htmlsi=CzJISzr9ZFrjFlo5 Right now is still a bit too early to do that, as it would not account for any new cards from Prismatic Evolutions or Journey Together. Once Japan has its rotation in January, we’ll have a better idea of what decks will look like post-rotation.
@@chiball after next rotation, zard and pidgeot which are block G cards will have a year more of playability, while raging bolt and dragapult/iron thorns are block H cards, giving them 2 more years yet. i think if you wish to build thinking on the long run, raging bolt and dragapult thorns are great and very competitive decks. about budew i think it will slow down a bit decks that rely on rare candy like charizard. stage 2 decks will probably adapt playing grand tree and tm evolution to get around the item lock. i think dragapult thorns which is the deck im playing rn has a good out to budew and a long durability (block H deck mostly). it uses mostly supporters and tools to get going and people in japan seem to be playing budew on it too. thinking of the long term i would recommend building the raging bolt deck, but charizard also still has a year to go and will probably remain viable too, it's probably the cheapest to build now. but among these i think you could consider this dragapult thorns build too, im enjoying it a lot.
@@chiball being a bit more objective, i personally think it's worthier to invest in long term decks like dragapult thorns and raging bolt, i think they will remain strong and may even get stronger, while charizard might start to descend from now on. but charizard is nice and cheap too.
The latest version of PokeGear has a G marking. m.bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pokégear_3.0_(HeartGold_%26_SoulSilver_96)#/media/File%3APokégear3.0ScarletViolet186.jpg You can use older versions of the same card if the text is exactly the same. I use an older version of PokeGear in Live because I don’t have 4 copies of the new one and I don’t want to spend credits on updated versions that are functionally the same.
Beat it the first time with a horrible starting hand using my Cyclizar EX. They ran out of draw cards because they didn't have enough energy to attach to the Active Iron Thorns, nor enough to retreat and couldn't find a switch card. I chose to not attack the entire match. I think they had their last energy in the prizes. However during the same stream, I went up against it again. That deck is really good! Great video to highlight it's Potential.
That game one opponent was sooo confused 😂. I felt bad for them
Solid list especially when you can pull out the right pieces early
Toedscruel's pokestop disruption is priceless
I really enjoy your contents, thank you for explaining the deck before demonstrating. 🎉
It is really helpful for new players as myself.

That ancient box looked like a post rotation list, I didn't see pokestop, greninja, or dark patch and it still ran decent
On the chien pao matchup, couldnt you do RadZam 2 dmg counters from active chien pao to the bench chien pao, leaving it at 200 hp, up fpr draga KO?
Can u do an updated Tinkaton ex deck pls
This! Best deck. I'm worried about post-rotation tinkaton though
tinks gonna get budew'd 😅@@nussiskate3
I’m loving the music lol
I love how people call it twitter still - never change

No one is prepared for Toedscruel
Hey ITP,
Could you make decks focusing more on the rotations, that would be nice for once the yellow/v/vmax/vstar rotate out, thank you very much 😁

dragapult thorns is particularly not going to suffer with next rotation. it will lose only radiant alakazam and lost vacuum
@@NolaoNolas any opinions on zard and raging bolt after rotation? i’m new and wondering if they’re worth building now. im scared of budew

but wait, Toad doesn't block Sada?
It blocks cards from going from the discard pile to the hand. It does not block cards going from the discard pile to the Pokemon in play.
How is pokegear legal?

@InThirdPerson thanks 😊
I got really surprised about this deck tbh
I tried on 5 matches a few days ago and basically cooked all the decks i faced.
It'll struggle against my milotic thorns deck. But I admit the adding the thorns to dragupult makes the match up very hard.
@@ifeanyiduruaku1244Indeed so, the Milotic gets hard-cooked by thorns, shutting it off and hitting for 2x
Got top 8 twice
Fuck. A guy at my locals has been playing this for a couple weeks and I hate that it’s picking up steam…
