Only downside for me is you have to get use to and train with the extra weight due to the plate being made of steel. Also, I recommend getting the jacket cover for the TQ case, keeps the TQ in decent condition and from fraying.
I think he is Wondering if the optic hood gets in the way with holstering your weapon due to it hitting the tourniquet. Yes it moves out of the way when drawing but does it stay out of the way enough to re holster.
Hi. My department is currently changing safariland holster to Alien gear one that you have. Does that tourniquet mount fit in the alien gear holster? Thank you in advance.
No it does not unfortunately. I recommend getting a Safariland leg shroud, qls kit, alien gear tactical adapter and mounting the tourniquet holder directly to the leg shroud. Another way that is easier and cheaper is to buy a ciguera gear tourniquet band and just wrap it around the holster. We will see a tourniquet bracket be made eventually but for now I don’t believe that any company offers one.
@OfficerAjax I used to do that, but drawing from a seated position wasn't super comfortable for me. Instead of working a standing site, I'm doing more patrols in a vehicle.

I love your set-up. I just ordered the OT nub.
Thanks man, you will love the nub mod.
Game changer
Can you do a video on how to fold the tourniquet to fit it in to the holster, I can't figure out how to get mine in my holder
Yeah! It’s actually one of the planned videos I have.
What type of screws did you use to attach the tourniquet holder to the metal plate? Or is there a kit with the screws? Thank you in advance.
Are the spacers supose to go between the tq holder and the holster or between the tq holder and the ubl/qls ?
Was the cant on the holster that the tq bracket caused noticeable?
I don’t notice it that much
Will this work with Alien Gear Duty holster with Alien Gears QLS system
No. You have to get the black box customs “AG” tourniquet plate.
I wanna see a video of you re-holstering your weapon with your RMR bell back in regular position
I’m confused as what you are wanting to see.

@@JohnSmith-he4xn yes it does. The tourniquet has never caused a issue for me.
I like the clean look of this but don't have a 6360 rds I just have a normal 6360. Do you think this would be good?
Yeah
Will this work with the Blackhawk Epoch Holster ??
No. I believe the “Ham” tourniquet plate will, but you should definitely shoot them an email before purchasing.
What tourniquet holder did you get for it?
Eleven 10 rigid TQ holder

@@OfficerAjax YOU ARE THE BEST!!!! I’ll share this info/your channel with my guys. Thank you!!!
@@Budury honestly my TikTok has better content And I appreciate it a lot.
Do you know if this will work for AlienGear holsters?
It will not. RDR gear is developing one but it won’t be out until next year. The Ciguera Gear Tourniquet Band will work and is cheap.
@@OfficerAjax Awesome thanks for the reply!!!
@@dustinlourie4471 no problem!
Does it affect the red dot cover from opening?
Order the one made for the RDS holster.
Does this work with non rds safariland holsters
Yes. RDR Gear offers different brackets for non RDS Safariland holsters.
Could I attach my safariland mk 4 oc pouch to this mount?
It might be but I’d just get a safariland leg shroud to do that
@OfficerAjax I used to do that, but drawing from a seated position wasn't super comfortable for me. Instead of working a standing site, I'm doing more patrols in a vehicle.
Id choose black box customs 100%
RDS GEAR is hella rude when it comes to their customer service
These millennials are something else
Ahh yes how dare millennials carry equipment to stop themselves from bleeding out, what a disgrace to society.
Does it have to be a Safariland Holster or can it be a third party Holster with a safariland hole pattern?
It should work with holsters such as the trexarms the follow the same 3 hole pattern. I would ask the manufacturer though before purchasing.
Does the screws to attach the tourniquet holster to the bracket come with the bracket?
No they come with the tourniquet holder.
