fun fact: the lead singer was actually very sick during this performance, they had to postpone the concert for 45 minutes and he kept apologizing through it, yet his vocals sound beautiful, a little raspy due to him being sick but overall it adds a spark to the whole song. he's such a dedicated vocalist and all the band members are so dedicated aswell. please do continue to check them out

Tokyo Dome was filled 55K fans for this concert and later they ended their 2 hour set with "We Are" which electrified their fans! BTW, FLCL is the bomb anime and the Pillows are an awesome punk band! This song is believed to be his parents divorce when he was young and his father leaving. Please join us going down the one ok rock rabbit hole!

From what I understand this song was written about his broken family. Then the moment of silence was added later for Chester.

Sorry but it's false information that the moment of silence was for Chester. They've been adding that silence during their Ambitions Tour in North America before Chester even passed away. It sounds like a nice story, but it is untrue. I also have not heard about this song being about Taka's family. The only songs we know are about his family and dedicated to his parents are "Nobody's Home" and "Hard to Love." While Taka does write a lot of lyrics based on his life and rebelling, he wouldn't write anything negative about his parents or family.

I believe this song is about Aston’s experience from 5sos, as this is a song the bands collaborated together on. He’s touched on his family’s history a bit before.
