Does the baby have trouble sucking the bottle to get the formula out due to the cereal thickening the bottle and the nipple being small?

      Make hole in bottle bigger

Add very little amount of cereal. Keep the consistency very runny. Thicker consistency is a big NO in this case as we want to reduce spit ups.

Mam can i give cereals like cerelac to my 4th month baby?

Weaning an infant is a gradual process. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends weaning at the age of 6 months.
i did began to give cerelac around 5 months. One tip is to mix breast milk or formula and add very little amount of cerelac (take plain cerelac without fruit chunks) to make very dilute cereal when introducing cereal. Later on u can give relatively thick consistency after 6 months of age. Hope this helps. 😊

@renu4369 As the baby was premature, it's always best to take paediatrician's advice to make sure if the systems have fully developed n matured enough to start this tip for acid reflux.

Yes, pediatrician advised that I try this and my baby will be 2 months in 2 weeks. So it’s safe.
