The baby gas is a real nightmare. Especially for the first time parents. Thanks for the techniques it worked.
+1 we are new parents and our baby girl was having a very tough time, not feeding properly, not sleeping etc.
We were about to take her to pediatrician until I thought to try burping her on my lap (my MIL was doing the burping before that)...two big burps later, she slept like, well...a baby! :)

First time parent here. Thanks for the informative video. My wife and me have reached our wit's end because our baby was crying non-stop until we saw your video. We used the lazy bones technique and about 5 minutes, our baby burped 3 big ones and immediately slumped to sleep, leading us to get our well-earned rest. Thanks very much and God bless you ü

I’m thankful I found this video. My preemie has painful gas and we had just one method of burping her. I tried the Cliffhanger and she let out a grown man’s burp!

Just tried out the cliffhanger method and it worked got that tiny little burp out and now shes very happy and content. Amazing!
My baby is almost 4 weeks old. Thank you Doc.. the hospital we delivered at, like other commenters said to just pound on the babies back. However at least my hospital showed the first position you showed. But now I can lightly tap and or just use my leg. But I'll use every technique for my boy.

Any chance the video you mentioned about the second set of techniques for when the gas has passed the stomach will be made? I know over time using these techniques will help prevent that but for many new parents (like my husband and I) who haven't figured things out yet that would be super helpful!

We used his techniques when our daughter was a newborn. She was so much more comfortable. Our families were also amused by the funny position names.
I finished feeding as i put this video on Because it usually takes me about 30 minutes to get a burp out of my baby He’s a month old and literally as he was teaching the first technique I got a good burp following His instructions i usually burp my baby over the shoulder with knees up… Who knew I was doing it wrong 🤷🏽♀️ Thank you so much for your instructional video

Very hard to get the baby into right position 😭
Mine is usually calm after a feed (milk drunk). He also burps within seconds. Yet he still grunts and crunches.
Maybe you need to try burbing more often during the feed when baby is still calm, once baby is restless and crying it is difficult to hold them

worked great for me while watching the video she burps. just to add if not done. moving baby around generally helps. meaning from different burping positions

Wind at 2am is frustrating. I can literally wind for 20 minutes anyway. But definitely invest in bringing it all up so baby actually sleeps through. Will try some of these new moves on my 3 week old tonight!
