I think that Luke thought that he was picking up his brothers tape but accidentally picked up his own tape.
OH! good catch! Maybe...cause was that brent's room he went into? I thought that fora second but wasn't sure. That could explain luke actually looking shocked at the party. But that also means brent would have known it was megan on the tape this whole time.

Yeah I’m pretty sure that’s what happened. In an earlier episode the other girl did mention the brother mixed up his tapes with their family ones when Isabella was destroying them
Did you notice that when his mother was alive, she had chocolate cake (probably because that was her preference); but they had a white cake. Idk why I noticed that type of stuff.

I don't believe that Isabella actually told Luke that there wasn't enough room in Megan's life for both of them. This is from Luke's perspective, so the view may be flawed by Luke's feelings.

Yes, makes sense. it’s clear Isabella wanted a friendship with Megan but this is the only episode where she is oddly possessive. It has to be because it’s from Luke’s perspective. The episode is called the miseducation of Luke so maybe that implies he had a skewed version of the events.
@attackdinosaur Exactly. Insecurity, self-doubt, and fear can greatly skew perception. This episode is an apt social commentary. Truth is clouded by emotion so that the truth is indecipherable; therefore, the perceived truth (the lie) becomes the person's truth.

I think the clip of the person in the water is Brent. I think maybe Luke paged Brent and confessed that he was the one who showed the tape at the party and they got into a fight and Luke died. Maybe by accident, maybe not. But Brent told his dad, and now his dad is trying to pin it on megan so Brent doesn't get in trouble. And that's why Brent was asking why his dad was trying to ruin an innocent person's life.
Hmmm…this would, also, explain (episodes back) when Steve and Brent were discussing how the investigation was going along, why Steve sounded more like he was in “cover our arse” mode more so than being legitimately concerned about the authorities finding his son’s killer (I.e. him assuring Brent that the cops seemed to be on Ned’s trail more than any one else). The way Steve (and Brent) came off in that scene ALWAYS stood out to me…
Watching the episode, I thought maybe because Luke’s body was so weak from the drugs that he might’ve fell over into the water, but now I’m back on the thought that it was his brother. Accidentally or on purpose, he’s always been malicious and nasty towards him.
Maybe we have things wrong, and the person in the water with Luke was trying to save him from drowning instead of trying to kill him!

And Luke told the girls if he's dad found out he'll kill him.. maybe he found out and killed him to keep the family's reputation safe

Yeah thats what I thought as well, especially since the sheriff would be the one to say hey we found his body etc.... the only issue with that would be the dad had to have ID'd the body?? So maybe not

First thing I would like to say is that I think Luke's reason for showing the video is for him to not go to Branson and so that Megan would lose her scholarship and be forced to stay with him. I mean think about everyone keeps putting in his head that Megan will leave him for someone more better insecurities began to build and what better way to have her not leave him is if he cost her the scholarship but when people think its Isabella based on the sweater in the video it backfires on him and that's why he doesn't want to keep the real identity of Megan a secret because he wants her to stay with him. I was one of the ones to say he was the one that made the tape even thought the reason was not correct.

That’s a really good theory. They did emphasize that thought process a lot throughout this last episode. From Isabella, to his brother making comments about her getting bored/college girl stereotypes and then even his own father commenting on the situation basically confirming what everyone else has been saying to him. Something he was already feeling very insecure about and more so as time went on. Because his actions, having the tape played, just don’t align with something you’d do ONLY because you’re upset with your father. There is no way he didn’t take into account how that would also affect Megan and himself as well. I also think he may have grabbed the wrong tape as well. That is also a possibility I’m leaning towards. Who really knows though? If this season is anything at all like the last, there is absolutely no telling what direction they’ll end up going in.
The only thing I have about that theory is when she said she was pregnant, if he really wanted her to be with him, he’d be a little happy because of course that would tie them together. Instead, he was scared and kind of seemed like he wanted her to abort it.
I feel like viewers were just too harsh on this season and stopped watching within the first ten minutes of episode one because they couldn’t get over it being an anthology but the people who actually watched the first few episodes stuck around and enjoy
That, and the comparison to season one (which was really good). But, the second season is still good in my opinion. I believe it's just more slow in its build up. That doesn't make it automatically bad. However, it does drag a little and can turn some people off who aren't feeling that same momentum that they were looking for. Waiting too long to make people more engaged with the seasons risks lower viewership.
Brent did it, Steve knows and is trying to protect him, like always.

If Luke is alive, then who drowned? In 2000, they had DNA testing. This is never mentioned as a definitive way to id the body. It could be a plot hole. Maybe the Sheriff took a John Doe from the morgue and threw him in the lake. He helped Luke leave. But would the sheriff throw away his career for Luke? But, then Luke has no money. Maybe, Isabelle paid him off. It is a wait and see. I think Luke is alive. Thanks for your reviews!
Luke is dead . Police evidence and accusing wouldn’t be involved he wouldn’t be so accusatory of these girls if it was a hoax he would have said suicide . Luke is def dead . They even said he still had drugs in his system . So he died from whoever met up with him

Here’s my theory, and I’m pretty confident in it. Whoever he texted in the end helped him hide and go off the grid for 6 months until he could go to coast guard school and once it was summer time he was getting ready to go off and wanted to see Megan one last time before he left and let her know he’s ok and that he loves her and where he’s going and she leads someone else there and they kill him. Idk who the killer is at all but I think that’s the general way that it’s gonna play out.

I think he paged Jeff. Jeff was really upset & jealous of Luke because he got with Megan. Jeff gave the sheriff the tape of Megan & Isabella talking about getting revenge on Luke. He told the cops about Megan giving him his fake ID.

no but i literally just binged the entire show with my friend and we LITERALLY analyzed the entire last scene together. we were DYING when you were discussing theories or talking about the footsteps or outfit of the mystery person. props to you 🎉
22:01 you know, I was thinking that it was either Jeff or Evil Dad that arrived at the docks…but, thinking about the timeline and how it wouldn’t have made sense for Luke to have met his demise that night or even during that season (given how quickly his body was identified, at recovery), I’m, NOW, thinking that it was his bro, Brent!!
…That would account for all of the “knowing” and nervous looks that Brent has been giving, throughout the season and, if Luke WERE pulling a fast one on everyone and trying to escape/fake his death…then it would ONLY make sense for his brother to be in on it, at THIS point. Not to mention, Luke’s conversation to Megan about “running away and starting over” and how we’ve seen glimpses of Brent maybe “not being so bad, after all”, sprinkled in different episodes.
7:30 GREAT point!! I was like, “😒🤔…they’re laying on the ‘Isabella is a (BLATANTLY) jealous, spiteful, pot-stirrer’ angle on PRETTY thick, in this episode…” but didn’t think of it from the “untrustworthy narrator” standpoint. It makes ALL the MORE sense, considering how much of a self serving, deceitful, manipulative, dubious creep Luke has turned out to be, with EACH passing episode.
I believe that Luke grabbed the wrong video and meant to expose Brent. I also think Brent is the killer and the first scene with him pushing Luke’s head under water was foreshadowing of his death
If, and that's a big if, there is some death faking going on that the Sheriff knows about, then I also think Ned is in on it. I think Ned might have helped Luke hide in his safe room for a while. At first I thought maybe Ned had kidnapped him, because they focused so much on the locking mechanism. But when the sheriff finds the girls in Ned's safe room...How did the sheriff get into the house so easily? Did the girls leave the door open or did he also have the code? And why was he there but seemingly, Ned wasn't? I think there's more to that room than we know.
VERY plausible theory, especially, since both Ned and the sheriff seem like “unfinished business” as far as their roles in this season.

Lisa, Great analysis as always! I’m not a medical expert, but if Luke had died shortly after taking the drugs on New Year’s Eve/Day, I believe they would have stayed in his body, because the systems that would normally process them out would have stopped working. As you said, drugs or alcohol will be cleared out in a few days, but that’s when blood is pumping, kidneys are filtering, etc. When someone dies, everything shuts down. I’m sure this was mentioned before, but what if Luke was killed or died on New Year’s Day, but his body wasn’t dumped until later? That could account for the drugs still being present as well as his body still being fresh enough to be identified.

With only one episode left, I just hope it all makes sense in the end! I had all the same questions as you did as far as the bloody sheets, meds in system, and identifying the body 6 month later. I now get the meds and body by what others have said. The sheets I still have questions about and I hope they have a good answer for it. I hope that blood was not left there for those 6 months. Is Luke dead? I don't know. I thought he might still be alive at least before they found his body, but the meds wouldn't be in his system at that time, and we haven't found out how long he's been dead for, if he is dead. If he's not dead I think he is staying with Ned and Megan knows (this would explain how they are communicating with one another online). So, I don't know?! Do you think Megan's arrest will stick? I think Debbie will help her get off if she has the sheets along with the letter from Trevor and the police report from St. Barts. There is also that summer of 1989 disk that someone has that I hope we will find out what it on it. Maybe Luke will just walk in alive and save Megan, lol!!! One twist I thought about has to do with Luke's mom. I was wondering this whole time how she died and as we found out it was a car accident that happened 8 years ago. Megan would have been in 4th grade at the time of her death. In episode 1 Megan said something about how she did something stupid in 4th grade that everyone keeps reminding her. Just wondering if it could tie in with the death of Mom Chambers? Just a thought. As far as the tape from New Year's, Isabella has it. Maybe she edits the end and gives it to the Sheriff, but she makes a disk for herself to keep, just another thought. I also hope something happens to Brent and Steve. I hope they don't come out of this unscathed. What happened to Megan's baby? I hope this also makes sense for this story. I feel I come up with a good theories and something happens to debunk them. I feel like it will end up with Luke having an accident and drowning. He seemed extra drowsy while walking to the dock. But also, maybe his father did it and tried to cover it up.
Luke accidentally drowning coulda been a plausible theory, had it not ended with him paging some mystery person, who then showed up. I was DEFINITELY leaning toward that, otherwise.

Maybe could it be Trevor? Stuck around in town to try to dig up more information to get justice for Isabella's ex best friend Lisa. Somehow gave his number to Luke (because Isabella was mirroring the same behaviors as she was around Lisa with Megan.) to keep in case Isabella went off the deep end again? Maybe he told him to keep his number for "emergencies only" and he helped Luke skedaddle out of town and fake his death. Wouldn't that be interesting lol I can't wait to ee how they tie up that loose end.

31:27 i swear thats brent + he is shown a lot in the ep. 10 promo, i think he has some involvement somewhere. It makes sense that he couldve drowned luke, then texted his dad to clean it up (reference to when luke told meghan that his dad could fix the situation with her pregnancy) that would explain the scene where their is dad running towards something.
I think Luke was thinking he was grabbing one of his brother's tapes, but grabbed his own on accident. That would explain his look of shock and why he ran so quickly to turn it off.

@@Crystalthomas27i agree…And, given the context of the last few episodes and him suggesting wanting to run away and start over, his head was probably MORE focused on plotting a way out of going to college/following his dad’s dreams for himself…more so than getting back at his brother. Also, it wouldn’t really make sense within that whole scene, either…I mean, it’s not like his dad was saying (or has been saying) how much “better” Brent is than Luke is. While, Steve DOES seem to favor Brent more, his tension with Luke seems to be THEIR issue.
Although it's very likely that Luke's perspective makes Isabella look more jealous and possessive of Megan, I hope that's not the case. Because while the main love triangle was the girls each dating Luke, having the extra layer of the love triangle being familial/platonic with Isabella makes it more interesting.
Now as far as this episode goes and the lead up to the finale, I have two theories as to what could've happened to Luke:
1.) It could be like Riverdale season one. Where the person who Luke called helps him fake his death (because he wants to start a new life and be the good guy he used to be) only for him to actually die an unplanned death. We would just have to wait and see who killed him.
2.) Suicide. Everything that Luke has done (leaking the sex tape, getting Megan pregnant, being the type of guy that he didn't want to be) might drive him to just kill himself and he stumbles into the water so no one finds his dead corpse.
Those are just my thoughts if I'm not missing anything. I don't think I'm going to be right (I'm usually not 😂). But, I hope that this finale delivers and makes all of the build up worth it.
26:13 this is my only OTHER theory. Either Brent OR the sheriff had a hand in Luke’s demise/disappearance. And it may actually make MORE sense for it to be the sheriff because, why ELSE would they add in that tidbit of him being st that bar, looking dubious, handing some random money in the episode where the kids snuck into the club with fake IDs?? That scene HAS to have some type of payoff and, given that there’s only one last episode left(?), him being the mystery guy at the docks would make sense. As far as Luke saying that he “didn’t think [he’d] show up”, that could make sense, simply within the context of him being the sheriff and/or him agreeing to be a part of some foul play for Luke.

Its Jeff. Jeff gave the tape of Isabella and Megan's convo to the sheriff and even told the cops about Megan creating the fake IDs. Jeff is jealous of Luke for obvious reasons.

Well I wouldn’t say he gave them the tape. The police definitely wanted all evidence and stuff from the new year’s party and prob asked him for all his footage or got a warrant for it. If Jeff had deliberately taped just their convo then it’d be shady. But the police had to have a tech squad comb and enhance .
I'm honestly kinda already disappointed because after this episode I don't see how either of the girls could have done it. And I liked the idea of one of them doing it.
Kinda like the "she said she said" of season.

I think it would be in the case of it being Jeff because he's still a friend of Luke's who's genuine (at least, for the most part). So it would still hold some weight if it was him, even though I don't think it is.
I like the idea of the girls being both involved together. But it looks like that's not possible

Omg this season was such a drag I hate that it’s starting to get good now that it’s one episode left lol my original theory was the dad I knew he was reputation obsessed D bag since the first episode. BUT I don’t think they would make it soo obvious right before the finale. They foreshadowed luke drowning when when he was in pool with his brother. but honestly, the jealousy that Jeff displayed throughout the series I’m betting it’s him. He was soo obsessed megan chose Luke over him they probably got into and he pushed him in the water out of rage. Megan and Isabella being blamed would work because he gets to go on with his life and go to college getting off Scott free.

I agree that it might have been Jeff at the end. Luke might think he needs to make amends to Jeff b/c he’s too hurt by what the girls did to deal with them right away.
If he did fake his death, the fact they even shot the ear is great attention to detail

If the body was intact enough for them to identify Luke, then the body tissue & organs were also intact. Drugs can be detected years after death, assuming there's enough organ tissue, etc. to test. Post-mortem toxicology tests have been performed for over 150 years, in case anyone's wondering about the 2000-era technology.

I'm feeling a hint of Steve (dad) being the killer. There's a lot of finger pointing from him. And there's a flash of a scene where Steve is sitting in a chair looking pretty hopeless with police lights flashing out the windows.
1st of all Lisa, my son and I LOVE your videos on this and the 1st season! Did you notice that when Meagan was getting the "truth serum" drinks together they showed us that she only put alcohol in Isabella's cup and Luke's but skipped her cup? Also in this last episode Luke did talk about wanting to run away and starting over... Maybe Meagan knowing how to make fake ID'S helped Luke get a new identity which is why it didn't phase her to see Luke online after he was gone? 🤷🏽♀️

Luke's body was found in the lake, and it's not that big from what I can see.
I think he confessed to having the tape put in to his dad, and his dad went ballistic and killed him.

Okay this episode very obviously shined light on the fact that Isabella and Luke are constantly fighting for the attention of Megan. I believe that in the end, Isabella is somehow involved with the death of Luke. I am wondering if he called his dad or the Sheriff or his brother at the end of the episode. And one of these people showed up to help him escape. I believe that in the midst of him trying to escape, Isabella tracked him down and killed him. Because remember in one of the first episodes how they found Isabella’s bag with $5000 in it at the cabin? Why would that still be there after Luke’s death? She must have gone back at some point. I believe that the father was really shocked about the death of his son.

If this is true then that means when Megan and Isabella go back to the cabin to look for him, Isabella leaves the 5000 dollars in the cabin for an escape plan after she kills Luke
Maybe the 5000 is for an abortion. Isabelle might of left it there on mistake when the came back to the cabin they were going to ask Luke to get his dad to take care of it
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Sheriff is involved. He got rid of Brent’s tapes, because Jeff blackmailed him. Do you think he wouldn’t kill Luke, if Jeff knew something that can ruin his career? Also, what’s up with Trevor? Could he had been involved? Why would he send clips of Lisa obituary to Meghan, apologizing for not telling her sooner,and then not return any of her calls?

I remember Megan making a comment that Isabella went back the the cabin that night to 'finish him off'. Now we know that Luke was no longer there. Did Isabella ever confess that she did go back? If she did she should have told Megan Luke was gone. I can't remember the details on this conversation...

I really enjoy your show! Call me crazy, but I think Debbie could possibly be the culprit. She’s been VERY defensive of both girls. As a mom, my priority would be my own daughter after all of the things we’ve learned about Isabella, but she’s been protective of both. Maybe because she knows the truth? I don’t have a solid theory yet of how this went down, but it could be possible. It would definitely be a plot twist! LOL. 😮
I believe the it’s Luke’s father and the sheriff because his father still believes it was his brother who leaked the tape on top of that he got a baby on the way while still wanting to join the coast guard and his father told him never to bring it up again or else that could mean a lot of things, but also she got on the girls mother about having a baby while being unmarried and if that got out that Luke was the one who leaked the tape at an important event as well as got a woman pregnant and played the tap just to make his father mad because of the argument I believe Luke wanted to embarrass his father to teach him that image isn’t everything but it backfired.

I love your videos bc this season has been so confusing and lack luster compared to last season and I find myself needing a recap after every episode. I loved loved season 1 but this season feels different. I love the actress who plays Megan but she doesn’t have the duality the girls from season one had.
So a few things first on the whole body being found in July. Ok so if it was cold enough and the lake froze then that would preserve Luke’s body. But I am not sure the body was frozen from January to March or April depending on how the winters are. How ever if that is the case and Luke died that night then everything would be preserved and the drugs and alcohol would still be in his blood stream. So it depends on the water temperature. Another thing is in the episode 10 promo we see Steve sitting in his house and cop lights shining in so I wonder does Steve get arrested? Lastly I believe that night is what broke the girls friendship then him disappearing put all this anxiety in the girls because they didn’t know where he was or if he was going to return and tell what happened that night.
Well, they had a Christmas party outside by the pool and no one was in heavy coats. Where ever are could not be that cold. Plus he was found middle of July when it was really hot and probably had been warm for a couple of months. A body soaking and decomposing for several months could not be identified in the one second it took his dad to say it was Luke.
This might be a whacky theory but I am thinking that Jeff will play into the final twist. Like last 30 seconds twist similar to season 1. In the episode where the friend group is at the cabin for the sleep over Jeff tells Megan “you end up seeing more than people think you do” or something like that and it’s making me think that Jeff will be recording the proof of what actually happened after the story wraps up. The the trailer with Steve and the cop lights kinda feels to me like he’s accepting fate and played a role in covering up Luke’s death. I don’t think Steve killed Luke but I do believe that he covered it up in some way (totally not sure how but just a hunch)
I’m seriously LOVING reading theories. Everyone is so creative and thinking outside the box. Outlandish doesn’t seem impossible with the writing this season.

Ultimately I think that he called his dad due to not thinking clearly and I think he will insult him and taunt him about school and tell him about the baby. His father will get mad and kill him then stash the body at one of his properties in a freezer before dumping it in the lake. Or the frozen lake preserved him. Either way I think hes dead for sure. I thought Brent was at college or I would think he could have done it. I also feel like they showed him drowning his brother for a reason
Plot twist: He was almost killed but didnt die. He's alive in a coma and they wanted to find who did it so they investigate it as a murder.
Luke's reaction to Megan telling him she was pregnant was not was I was expecting. Ass. Now I'm curious what happened to the pregnancy. Megan seemed devastated by how he reacted.
I expected it. He is young, tied up to a bed, and drugged. I would say his reaction was the expected one at the time.
@@musicalone74 Fair point. But from a viewers standpoint, before we saw Luke being a jerk, we saw him as the "nice guy". We saw his true colors come through fake nice guys are the worst. He doesn't want to be like his father, but his reaction was exactly like his father.
I expected it!! I mean, the dude’s assholery KEEPS increasing with EVERY passing episode. Now, if he would have a a favorable or, at least, a sympathetic reaction to this news, THAT would’ve been unexpected

My guess is the person at the end is- Jeff, Dad, or Brant. Maybe Ned. I only say Ned cuz of what Luke says. Episode 10 is going to be great. If it's like season 1 hopefully we get a twist that is unexpected.
You can be lost in a lake for a long time. Boy from my home town drove into a pond and they didn’t find his truck or him of course for years. If they didn’t know he was in the lake they wouldn’t know to look there.

I forgot Meghan got a note from Luke that said that he was running away so maybe it was whoever killed Luke since he drowned.
I think the sheriff is involved somehow. He knows way too many things (like Megan being pregnant) and in the episode 10 preview he brings up a new video (which I think is the cabin recording of what they did to luke). I think the sheriff is who shows up, but his response to “I didn’t think you’d show up” makes me question myself. He seemed to know he could count on him but nonetheless I think the sheriff has some sort of involvement somehow.

After watching this video, my only thought is that I need to know more about Isabella’s past. We never got a satisfying ending to what happened with Lisa (in terms of whether Isabella killed her or it was a freak accident). I still don’t feel like Isabella killed Luke, but at this point, she’s the character we know the least.
Here are the four people I think it was on the deck that night: Megan, the sheriff, his brother, and his dad the reason why I think it might be Megan because despite it all she still loves him so she went to see what he wanted to say to her and he tells her that he wants to have the baby with her but in order to do that they have to run away and build a new life and then they go to the sheriff and tell them they want to build a new life with the baby so they hatch a plan where they pretend to arrest Megan but instead of taking her to jail but take her somewhere else to meet up Luke who is the coast guard with dyed hair and new name maybe with the mom's maiden name as his last name. Now I think it might the brother on the dock because of how poorly he treated the brother and once he tells him what happened and how if he started a new life he can be the favorite have everything in the family business so the brother helps him fake his death but he wants Isabella to go down for it but once he sees Megan might be the one to take the fall he might take the blame for his death to save Megan from jail or Brent told Megan about Luke's plan to start a new life which again goes back to her not being surprised that Luke is online in the summer timeline because she knows Luke is still alive. And lastly the father who has always cleaned up Luke's mess is told about what the girls did to him and vows to take down the girls who messed with his kid and the Chambers name. The reason why I don't think its the father is because that would mean Luke agrees to follow his fathers orders and go to Branson and I don't see this happening. Now here's the thing what if its the brother or father are using Luke account to get a hold of his friends to see what they know and Megan is informed that they are using the account to get more information so that is why she is not surprised that he is online.
First of all, both Megan and Isabella are already guilty of a crime by drugging Luke. As for the drowning, I am going with Trevor, with a last scene tie in with Lisa and Isabella just like the ending scene twist of season 1.
They're definitely guilty of manslaughter if he truly died.
Ooh maybe Trevor killed him to frame issabella so she gets in trouble for someone's death and as far I know, you don't have diplomatic immunity from your home country, only foreign nations.

I can’t go with the pager theory because, in the last episode, somebody paged him and told him that they couldn’t have the party at their house because their parents were coming back so somebody had to have a pager other than his family but what I can get behind is the theory that you said that it could be a conspiracy with his whole family you seen that the father got the sheriff to make the charges against his son disappear with the whole sex tape thing so it’s quite possible they all could be in cahoots with each other to fake Luke’s death but my biggest question is if they did fake his death who is in the body bag because at first, I thought it was Ned because it would’ve been easy because the father had problems with him with the property lines but you see him in the summertime line so I couldn’t be him. It’s just crazy like who is in the body bag who are we missing if he faked his death

This season failed in my opinion, doesn't matter who killed Luke in the end there wasn't enough build up for a shock factor .....the only character development I liked was Isabella we've seen her go from sweet ,jealous ,loyal and being untrustworthy, Megan seems immature and Luke did what many fuck boys have done tbh
Idk I really think Luke loved Megan. I think he fell into the "locker room" talk with the guys. Yes, he did tape her which is a total dick move but I think he wanted to prove something to himself.
Do you find it odd that issabella went from wild hair and dressing provocatively to dressing and acting more like Megan. Dressing less provocative, no wild make-up, relaxed hair, etc. It's like she's becoming Megan. Just a thought

I'm finding the camera/footage theme to be interesting through this series and maybe it's to show how even if you see something on camera it isn't the truth (like seeing is believing but in reverse). It was one of the heights of technology back then.
As the series is all about lies and cover ups you would think the vision from a camera is the only truth but right from the start we saw the tape where everyone believes it's Isabella when in fact it's Megan. Could there be more instances of this in the reveal making us believe our eyes when it's not the full story?
You've got Jeff always filming. Ned with his security set up, the camera Brent set up in the cabin and the tape Megan is making of Luke's confessions
I think the tape played at the Christmas party is foreshadowing maybe a false accusation based on other footage to come.
On the point of jealousy and Megan shifting between who she spends time with. I'm wondering if this is based on the Pov of the scene. Perhaps she spends relatively equal time between them (or at least to her mind) but the jealousy of Luke or Isabella telling the story show their emotions more in that they're left out

Okay…here’s my theory. I think he called someone to help him just escape his life or run away and that could be the sheriff or his brother, Brent. They planned his leave and for him to go to the coast guard (not sure if you can go without a highschool diploma-will have to look that up. Maybe even his helper arranged for him to complete school at home or get a GED. I think he would also have told Megan and she maybe planned to meet up with him after school ended. He’d be settled on a base (somewhere close to her scholarship school) and they could start to raise their baby. THE twist though is that someone else knew about the plan….probably Isabella or Jeff. And killed him before he could leave that night. Isabella may have killed him out of jealousy and knew Megan would be joining him and leaving her in Madrid or wherever they were suppose to be going alone. Or Jeff because he thinks he’s just a bad dude and doesn’t deserve a good ending with Megan. Either way, I think they got to him. And since Megan and his helper thought he was out to sea being happy for months, they wouldn’t get too concerned. I believe said killer hid his body until after he was suppose to get back from the coast guard training or whatever so Megan would still believe the plan was still on. When he didn’t notify her to meet him and his body turned up (the killer then put him in the lake to be found) she knew the plan was messed up and was truly grieving (same with the brother-if he helped) or why the sheriff is really trying to find his killer-if he helped. As for the blood, I believe Megan lost the baby out of maybe severe trauma or stress when she found out Luke was really dead and that was the blood she was cleaning up. I just need to know who has a deep freeze….or secret safe room where they held his body for 6 months????

My thoughts for episode 9:
1. We knew Luke filmed him and Megan having sex and was the one who put the tape out in episode 1.
2. He was jealous of Isabella getting close to Megan.
3. Steve do have something over Sheriff Myer's head.
4. Like in episode 6, Luke playing a video game that has his character name LChambers2000.
5. As for the cliffhanger of who was on the dock with Luke, I bet it was Ned, Brent, Sheriff Myers, Jeff, or even Parker.
6. My theory from episode 6 may come into play in episode 10. We will see🤷🏿♂️.

They show Megan getting arrested for Luke’s murder in the season finale preview. I doubt they would show that if it actually was her. I don’t think it’s Isabella because why would he call her after she shot him. He’s surprised to see whoever came to the dock so my bets on Jeff because they left on bad terms but not in relationship ending terms like the girls. He wasn’t on great terms with his Dad or brother either but I doubt he’d be surprised if they came to help him. He was willing to call his dad and was sure he would help end Megan’s pregnancy. The sheriff liked him and would help him so also no surprise.
I honestly think Jeff did it. I don’t wanna be right because I feel bad for him
