I think Luke's death will be ruled a accident but the ending will reveal megan watched him drown in a fit of rage of remembering how badly he messed up her life, with the tape and unwanted pregnancy, her dream school.
Then we flash back and see Isabella did the same thing to Lisa
I wonder if Isabella was the one who tape of megan and Luke frist timeout it in the vcr so every body sees it
That would be such a cool ending and tie up a lot of loose ends
Definitely starting to think this as well or Isabella being the one to show the tape at the Party because we still don’t know who was the one that played the tape in front of ever
I don't know what happened, but I remember when Megan and Isabella were fighting at Parker's house, Megan had accused Isabella of "going BACK to the cabin" and killing Luke, implying Luke was alive when they left the cabin. I'm sure we'll find out tonight but still wanted to mention it.

That could of happened Isabella who killed Luke it could be Luke father or his brother it also could be megan

2. Isabella shot Luke and grazed his ear.
3. Who was the one that drowned Luke in the lake?
4. STILL wanting to see what's on the Summer 1998 floppy disk Isabella has.
5. The videotape on new years may get destroyed.

I don't think Megan killed Luke. She was just as surprised in episode 1. Isabella was jus like "we need to get our story straight".
I'm thinking maybe Jeff leaked the tape cuz he was still upset with Megan choosing Luke. Isabella to hooked on Megan and her friendship to leak it.
And Megan wasn't drinking. She pretended to pour alcohol in her cup but Isabella and luke got.
I think Isabella is the one who grazed Luke but I don't think its what killed him. With so many ppl looking guilty I at a loss with who killed Luke
I’m still kind of teetering on the fact that he’s still alive and this is all a plot. The only reason why I’m saying that is because he seems pretty sober in the previews in the start of the series when he walks through the forest so I’m guessing that either someone drowned him or he still alive.
Would be wild if the Sheriff helped him fake his death to get away from his family.

Also I believe that that they were yelling on purpose the same way they said the exact words to the sheriff that's planned
I can't believe that the Season Finale is airing next week, it's been QUITE an eventful season. My money's on with Brent or Jeff ultimately killing Luke, since it seems too obvious to be Megan or Isabella's doing.
right? it's gone by kind of fast! Last season i was like ok yeah i got most of this figured out. this one i'm still kind of like it could go so many directions and i can't tell if it's because it's done well or just cause it's a mess.

@@Shineonmedia Yes, Luke's dad is also a top suspect. It would be much too obvious for it to be Megan or Isabella.

I think your question about the medication is a great one. Wish I knew the answer about how quickly it’s broken down post mortem. But I think it’s a stretch too!
I theorized on someone else’s comment of what a twist it’d be if the sheriff were helping him fake his death. My guess changes every episode at this point 😅
Not sure the dose of those pills, but it could have been lethal mixed with a ton of alcohol and his lean physique.
All that to say, if he’d barely survived, the sheriff may have been the one safe person to run to. But this might all be shot down in episode 9.

I've felt Luke is alive since day one. No clue why, just a huuuge hunch 😅 Timeline certainly doesn't match up

Megan didn’t add the alcohol to her drink she instead added the alcohol to Luke’s and Isabella drinks but not hers. She watched Isabella put an extra pill in there w/out telling her about what she mixed in there

I’ve had this inkling that Luke isn’t dead, like we never see his body. The body they did find was probably super decay especially being the water , maybe Luke’s dad misidentified him.
And the whole Isabella outburst thing being obsessed with Megan , threw me for loop, I felt like there was no indication before that moment. Like she was nice throughout the whole show ? Or maybe I didn’t picked up an hints of that.
Oh no you can definitely tell Isabella has an obsession with Megan. Subtle looks and things. But you really see it in episode 9
It's possible that Luke's dad just told them it's him to gain some simpathy after all that " disaster" Luke and his brother did to their family "reputation" believing it will turn some tables to their business

Remember when she revield Megans secret to her mom just because she overheard Megan and Luke talking and Megan told Luke something about him being his favorite person and Isabelle gets jealous so she tell her mom about the tape then claims to megan it was because she couldn't stand her mother looking at her the way she does
She was jealous
Also I think she sees her leaving Luke as a sacrafice she made for Megan and she couldn't stand being second in Megans life
I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out she actually developed feelings towards Megan and she wanted her to herself
In season one they also have lesbians or bisexuals not sure

Re: Steven (Luke’s creepy, douchey pappy), although, I’m NOT sure how he could be a part of Luke’s demise, considering what just happened at the end of this episode…I’m STILL thinking that he may have offed Luke or, at least, been at the scene of the crime.
I just don’t think that Luke throwing in “he’ll K*LL ME‼️‼️” and the writers, steadily and increasingly, showing how creepy, cutthroat and mean spirited Steven is, with EACH episode, is ALL for nothing. I mean, come tf ON- “….you’ll be ok…boys will be boys…”?? Sounds like something a damn date gR@pist would say 😵💫😵💫😵💫
My new question is and hasn’t been answered in this episode and tonites episode is (and hopefully its relevant) is what on the 1998 tape tht Isabella brought with her? I know I already saw episode 9 tonite how it ended but not to spoil it here for anyone tht hasn’t seen it yet, but thts the one tiny detail since the very beginning tht hasn’t been revealed and I wonder if we will have an answer in the finale. Unless it becomes a detail, like for example, how season 1’s Jeanettes involvement in whether she knew Kate was in the basement the whole time and acts likes a “ta da,” you knew something was off about her situation. Wonder if tht detail will happen again this time with Isabella and the 1998 mystery tape and how it ties to her overall.
i kind of think it's just happy pics of her and lisa maybe since that was before all the stuff happened. maybe she feels guilty and keeps it around. or i guess it could be maybe some kind of evidence about why they had a falling out. idk if the show will tell us but i do kind of want to know.

I think season two will end like how season one did. Where a lot of information and reveals are given without all of the questions being answered. I just hope that they pick the right ones to explain so it won't be so confusing. Because while there are still some questions from the first season, I think it still ended in a way where it's not a huge problem or feels unfinished.
