Took this line between KL and Penang. Clean bus, comfortable seats, acceptable meal (airline quality food, so nothing special), clean restroom stops, on-time performance. All in all, a good trip and way, WAY better than a similar trip on Billion Stars.
Aeroline's catering looks better than the meal served on my Singapore Airlines' economy class flight. Aeroline is the best travel option between sg and kl

My favorite coach service to KL and back to SG when I was working in KL more than a decade ago.

Singapore to KL was a super trip. Surprisingly the bottle neck was at Malaysian immigration but it all took only 10 minutes to clear ( around midday at Tuas ). I can thoroughly recommend this company. Looking forward to doing KL to Penang next.

I am resident in the UK. Whenever I balik kampong (singapore) for a holiday, I would spend a few nights in KL and Aeroline is my preferred coach.
It never hurts to ask. Were there any forms required for you to enter Malaysia ( apart from passport )?
@@termitesarenotgoodforhomes Apart from the usual passport, I vaguely remember having to fill in a card which has something to do with customs duty (the last time I travelled to KL was in 1915!)

@@termitesarenotgoodforhomes Don't worry, this is normal procedure. Everytime I fly back to the UK, I also have to fill in a similar card which is given to non-citizens in the plane. I wish you well too.

Jalan Tun Razak is actually a ring road. Same road name in Melaka and in JB as well.
The other ring road in KL is MRR2 or middle ring road 2, which has a larger circumference then the 1st ring road.
I just spotted VDM 8812 earlier today, I think it departed on the 1830 timeslot.

Thank you for a great video. Travelling in March 2023 so will have to wait for the booking window to open. I 'think' it's 6 weeks prior to travel date. At 1:25 you mentioned a lounge opening at 9am. We propose to catch the 8am bus. Is the check in office open at 7:30am ?

@@jomnaikbas We missed the bus ( so to speak ). Didn't get in quickly enough and it was booked out. Now it's the 11am departure. I am going crazy trying to navigate Malaysian web sites to find out what paperwork is required for Australians. You would know by any chance. It never hurts to ask :)
From my understanding, Australian nationals do not need a visa to enter Malaysia. Nonetheless, the border officers may require you furnish your return tickets back to Australia.
@@jomnaikbas Looking forward to our bus trip but trying to avoid a paperwork hassle at the Malaysian border and being left behind by the bus...lol. I think we will take pre-filled paper copies of CUSTOMS NO. 7 forms just in case ( although I am almost certain these only apply to people who have something to declare ).

The journey usually take about 6 hours end-to-end, unless of course there are congestion at the checkpoints or along the PLUS highway.
Is it a good idea to travel from Singapore to KL on a Sunday or better on a weekday ...considering traffic, immigration process etc
If the Sunday occurs during long weekends and school holidays, I would advise against it. Otherwise, a Sunday departure would be fairly smooth, although you can expect a slight congestion at the border checkpoints.

Yes, definitely. Being a premium and high-end chassis, the KEB series are more expensive than the KIB. Operators in Malaysia and Singapore tend to prefer the KEB because it offers the operators an option to fit a front door, largely due to the independent front suspension system.

I'm Aeroline's frequent flyer before COVID. They still request passenger to do COVID test before boarding? Or can just proceed as usual?
They have ceased the testings for passengers since late last year.
When I book it online, dint have the option to choose seat, is it free seating?
Seats can only be selected after payment is completed.
Can I purchase the ticket at the ticket counter instead of buying it online?
Definitely, but almost always seats are already sold out prior especially during peak holiday season.
How fast did the driver drive in malaysia?
Aeroline’s buses are fitted with speed limiters, so the buses would not go any higher than 100km/h.

I won’t be able to confirm the arrival time at the destination as it all depends on the traffic condition along the route. Typically, the journey will take about 6-7 hours.

You need to apply for visa if your country passport does not have allowance for you to enter Malaysia, apologies but you have to check with your authorities on how to apply the Visa.
Which company comes with massage chairs?
