todays video is my ranking of all the gossip girl thanksgiving episodes from least to most favourite! i wanted to actually upload this on thanksgiving but i've been super ill so its a few hours late but enjoy!

I think dan and blair should’ve ended the romantic dynamic after the kiss in season 4. I get that they could get confused wether it was platonic or romantic bc it happened kind of randomly and quickly, but concluding that none of them felt anything but then becoming really close friends would’ve been a much better storyline imo
the captains face when nate asks him if he was really gonna hold them for ransom makes me cry laughing everytime
found your channel a few days ago and i’ve had it on in the background as i do my uni assignments, literally obsessed… as for gossip girl all i have to say is that eric was wildly underrated that’s my king :’)

I’ve watched this show AT LEAST 8 times (currently rewatching again on season 4) and I just caught myself saying “wait cece dies?”
Just goes to show that rewatching is worth it! you get so many small(or big) details that u missed or forgot abt from the first time
especially shows like gossip girl, teen wolf, lost, supernatural, pll etc with so many plotpoints snd episodes that it’s impossible to get it all the first time
however rewatching GG is at your own risk, bc there are a looooot of plotholes in regards to who they end up choosing as gossip girl

I was going to disagree about ranking 3 above 1 but 3 truly is the most iconic thanksgiving episode!! 1 has so much nostalgia in the flashbacks though, I love it.

The more I think about it the more I think that season one's is better. The whole episode is good and makes sense. The flashbacks, the parallel with Dan before he was with Serena, the problems between Serena and Blair, Blair's issue with her family, the Rufus and lily reveal to everybody etc. Everything that made the show what it is. And it is too overshadowed by season three's (even though I absolutely love it too) only because of the icon whatcha say scene. But I do think that overall the episode in season 3 is less good. Like serena sleeping with trip, who cares ? Who cares that Blair thinks her mom is pregnant ? And Vanessa arguing with her mom whom we barely know ? The scene is amazing but because of the editing, timing etc. But otherwise it's not that amazing.
But that's my opinion, which changed overtime actually.

how I would match endgame relationships:
Chuck and Blair
Rufus and Lily
Eleanor and Cyrus
Serena and Nate
Dan and Vanessa
dr van der woodsen and ivy and everyone would hate them
And I would have kept jenny and rewrote her and vanessas downfall. I think there were a lot of out of character writing mistakes that happened especially in season 4, beginning at the end of season 3
I agree on everything aside from jenny i couldnt stand her anyway i would never forgive the author for breaking up lily and rufus for the shake of dan and serena lily and rufus were so much better in my opinion i dont thing dan and serena are fitting for life as for chuck and blair of course that was the main reason i was so invested in the show
But Rufus and Lily do end up together 🥲 they kiss on the lips at the wedding, she just sits with Serena’s dad to watch her go down the stairs 🥺
i thought that dan and serena got married so wouldn’t that make them related if rufus and lily did end up together in the end x
I never interpreted them as being together at the time, because I thought that Rufus brought a date to the wedding.
