Another great video Robert. Nice to kick-off 2025. 👍🏻 The key to creativity is the conjunction of curiosity and problem solving skills. This can go wild when working with modular. Have a wonderful year! ❤️☮️😊
Wishing you the very best for 2025. Every time I watch one of your videos I leave the feeling that I have learned something, even though I'm not always 100% sure what that something is immediately. Perhaps this is because your videos are always a feast for the eye and the ear, hence take a little while to fully digest! Can't wait to see where we go, thank you Robert for everything you do 🙏🙏🙏
Looking forward to peruse your Book of Spells and your master classes in 2025! All the best and keep going, you are a limitless source of inspiration 😊
I’ve already learned so much from your videos and I look forward to learning more! My other channel Planet Plex is where I’ll share my progress and I can’t wait to grab your book of spells when it comes out! Thank you for what you do!
Happy New Year and thanks for the great videos! You might think that you don't do ''reviews'' and I understand what you mean, but from my side - as a music producer / sound designer - when I'm looking for a review of a module I actually want to see how it can work in a musical concept and that's exactly what you offer here. You are dive into it and sound more like a real performance than a ''cold'' review of the module's features. I think videos like yours can give to the listener the opportunity to ''review'' the modules for themselves and judge based on what they hear in a real performance. So once again, thank you very much!
I have always liked your approach to creating videos and creativity in general, far away from Patreon and affiliate links. I am sure that your plans for this year will be very successful. Good luck and well done for the work you put into showing us amazing stuff.
Dear Robert! Thank you for all the amazing content you have given us in 2025. Your plans for 2025 trigger a big YES! in me. I am looking forward to this! Best wishes for the new year.
Love your work. I also see myself lurking at old modules instead of new ones ( some exceptions remains ). Finally modular is mainly a story of interactions. ❤
Happy New Year, Robert! 🎉 Looking forward to your new courses and upcoming book-count me in! I think this shift in focus is a fantastic approach compared to showcasing the next piece of gear (though those videos are still super educational). Having built up a 75+ module system after following your channel for the past two years, I couldn’t appreciate this change in direction more! Cheers!
11:00 Absolutely. I have a single row 84 hp case that's fed by and controlling an external polysynth. I would be glad to have more literacy about the patching possibilities.
Robert, I’ve already learned A LOT from you without you even trying- so imagine how much better I could be if you did. One thing I would like to learn is how to approach your oft-used but never tiresome ‘ambient wash of interesting noise with seemingly random but actually very carefully crafted foreground notes’ style. Edit: you explained how you did it- three takes, mixed in Ableton in post. See? I’ve learned something already! Happy ‘25 to you!
hi! really love your channel... its unique and very inspiring and a wonderful alternative to all other modular content I know! I wish you all the best for 2025 and I am curious what happens durning the next month...
Have a great 2025. I am looking forward to your new focus - and delighted to see a Make Noise 0-Coast featuring in this video. I don't have any, (strict definition!), eurorack modular but do have a Strega and an 0-Coast hooked up to Live, VCV Rack and Push 3 as a controller. Gear acquisition syndrome seems to have passed me by. Thanks for all the video art. And the music!
Thank you for doing this, I look forward to watching your series emerge. If you consider patch diagrams like monotrail, this would be amazing… For now I need to learn the tools for streaming so I can join in the jamming… best wishes for 2025!
Wishing you the best for 2025 and looking forward to the learnings. You haven’t seen me in your comments as much in 2024, here’s why. I had to travel endlessly for work in ‘24, LA London constantly. I downloaded every video you made and they were my constant travel companion, all year. But without service I couldn’t comment. Thanks for being a great travel companion!
Thank you and best wishes for the year to come. I apply the inspirations and gleanings in the Bitwig grid to help make my own sounds as well as sharing those presets back to the wider community. 🖖
Weird. I have been watching my 0-Coast lately thinking I should do something with it. Was this a sign I should do something with it? 🤔Looking forward your educational videos.
Thank You! Very timely. I was just traveling for 6. Months and come back to find all of my audio/modular gear stolen including headphones, keyboards, hard drives computers, etc..I had built up a good system from watching your channel since day 1. The only thing they missed was a small box with an o-coast, o-control, Strega, morphogene, beads, wogglebug, dxg, gliss and prs point. I can’t really afford to replace much except a pair of headphones, so I will be forcefully limited to this and an iPad from here on out with small additions that might complement this . Any suggestions going into a very slimmed down new year? Return to basics for sure. Happy New Year and thank you for the alchemy.
So sad to hear your gear is stolen. However, your 'leftovers' can make amazing compositions. You can dub in Morphagene, you have 0-Coast, Beads, Random CV, human interaction, it's amazing. I'd say add a used BeatStep Pro and embrace your 'limitations'. You still own a monster machine. Also try to play the oscillators by hand and don't forget DXG to shape Strega's output with controls from 0-Coast and/or 0-Ctrl.
Wow ! Thanks so much. Excellent suggestions . Embracing the limitations. I do need an audio out😀 A small 4ms pod . I look forward to your 2025 investigations and magic. It’s also what I am most interested in.
me again............. lol. hmmm question from a beginner, is it posible, not how, to "built" for example a "maths" with just "doepfer" moduls, i know it would be not a cheep way, but i like simple modules (beginner friendly)
The A-143-2 Quad ADSR will take care of four Maths cycles (so two Maths instead of one) and you could use the A-138 (i or j) quad polarizer to do Voltage Math. You would not be able to process audio or slew CV, but it's possible to create even more complex functions than Maths can do.
Another great video Robert. Nice to kick-off 2025. 👍🏻

You're definitely a modular synthesist and owning a Strega also means you're curious and courageous. Respect!
