Great vids mate. Quick question re the bull bar. Have you noticed any change in handling or front suspension differences since fitting it? I have a D4 and am planning on a bar with winch as well so would love to hear your thoughts. Cheers James
Hi James, I definitely felt additional weight on the steering post the installation of the bull bar and winch package. But I wouldn’t not have one because of it and it’s not uncomfortable once you get use to the feel of it. It almost feels more solid.... I’ve just installed rock sliders yesterday! Mire weight. glad you like the vids, if you want to see something particular let me know. Cheers Owen
Hi Owen, Thanks for the quick reply. If only the steering is slightly heavier then I’ll go ahead with the bar and winch installation. Don’t like the idea of not being able to get myself out of a tight spot when off road. I’m looking at the APT rock sliders as my next upgrade. I’m seriously loving how good the D4 is off road and love the car although it’s had some expensive upkeep required. Cheers James
James Hunt yep they surprise a lot of people with their capabilities. Winches are a great investment, safety, confidence that you have a chance to get yourself out of trouble. Let me know how you go. Cheers
saw your disco at arb today
Yes mate! I missed it by 10 mins. They shut at 12:00pm on me.
We’re you in the Disco or the army truck? We should really hit Anglesea one day.
