Tip : maybe boosting monarchy for czechoslovakia and improving relations while doing the protect czechoslovakia focus may have a higher chance of them joining
Also doing reintegrate the railroads focus will also give you a higher chance of austria annexing themselves to you
@@sweden-finlandia Maybe but the stupid amount of RNG is just insane. Once I had a run where both Austria and Czechoslovakia refused, so I had to fight them both. Meanwhile when the AI plays Hungary, they always get the right event.
@@viktorradev1609 I usually go for the bled agreement first so by the time i get to the austrian referendum i have an army much larger than theirs. Every time i had to fight austria the czechs either became a puppet or a part of the country, they never refused.

If you read the Protect Czechoslovakia focus it tells you that a non-aggression pact helps, world tensions over 20 helps, and high relations help. Idk if it makes a difference but I usually try to get Bled Agreement first to be able to build up 24 divisions before doing the referendum. Just stupid that the "high opinion" thing is thrown out by "-90 has cores on us" that Czechoslovakia gets from reforming Austria-Hungary

See, all the RNG is why I made a mod that increases the chances of Czechozlovakia folding and being annexed, along with Romania to fold on handing over Transylvania.
Now just need to find a way to remove the guarantee on Yugoslavia by France, and then it'd be perfect...

I think that's an absolute joke that hungary get's a focus to reform austria-hungary even though it was essentially austria, and austria doesn't.
And that Budapest is the capital doesn't sit well with me.
The habsburgs were austrians, the uniforms were austrian.
It even got as far as viewing anyone but austrians as lower which inevitably led to the downfall of the kingdom.

well austria hungarian focus tree sucks. You bassicly have to got to war with hitler/Italy, the balcans and france/allies. Exept if you want to give up some terotory, like sudeten, or if you dont wanna have a coast at all.

Well there's 2 ways
One-Attack them,it get rid of Trianon treaty, (just encircle them once in Hungary and they'll be done
Way 2:Improve relations,have army bigger than theirs,do focus "Reintegrate railroads" Which gives +15 opinion boost to Czechoslovakia and Austria
Here's few tips for doing a fascist austro hungary:
1. Get a fascist advisor pretty soon.
2. Get Austria by force, it isn't that hard and it removes the treaty of trion
3. Get an agent and put him in chechoslovakia to do political pressure. Start improving relations eith them.
4. Do the fascist referendum before the protect chechoslovakia focus ends, so if they accept being a puppet, they will be an integreted puppet.

I can confirm making the Austro-Hungarian empire is not easy I really wanted to use cheats as it is difficult but the pain in the as$ of having the German empire as my ally has never happened to me.
