Hi everyone, I’m Jason! It was such a pleasure showing Spanian around my beautiful village, Bali, in Crete with the buggy. I hope you all enjoyed the tour and got a glimpse of how amazing this place is. Bali is even better in the summer, with so many people visiting for holidays and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. Let me know what you think, and I’d be happy to share more about our hidden gems here in Crete!😊
@iasonasdaskalakis9852 Jason, that was so good of you to show us around. It looks fabulous there. If I know anyone going to Europe, your area will be recommended, just lovely!
@55:00 hit home. i'm 32 with terminal cancer and it is true. the noise of kids playing and having fun just makes me smile. a hug from one of the kids in the morning makes my day. a good night hug makes me sleep with peace. my last day is soon and all i wanna know is the kids are going to grow up with happiness.
From one luke to another, I have had a visit from a biblical angel, the power is enough to bring anyone to tears. Miracles are not only possible but very real. Have faith and its never too late to ask for a miracle.

I literally get the feel that Spanian enjoys every single second of his day and doesn’t take anything for granted. It’s like he’s just got out of prison the day before. Love it.
hey SPANIOS the reason why the food taste so much better is because the produce over there is all organic and grown properly not like herein Australia where every thing is picked green with tonnes of chemicals and produce GMO for weight and size and not for flavor i realized this when i was in egypt everything tasted so much better
Dude, check your facts. 99.9% of Australian produce has no GMO - the only thing that is GMO in Australia is Safflower and Canola flowers, Cotton, Indian mustard and some strains of Bananas.
it was genuinely awesome when you did the olive oil harvesting, that shit is cool., saw tonnes of them in Rome and it's really interesting to see how they were harvested. You know you went to a good place when the locals want to show off their traditions.
Mums heritage/maiden name is Creten. Haven't been there so I really loved this. Now I Really want to go! You know so much about other cultures, including Greece. You could so pass as Greek Spanian, even more than some Greeks. 🤣 Beautiful Cross. Beautiful Churches and scenery. GREAT vlog. 🙏
I had a boyfriend once from Melidoni , the family left to come to NZ , with 4 or 5 kids , the Mumma was killed by a bus and the Father brought the kids up supplementing food by picking wild foods as he did in Crete ,then many years later when the family had grown he went back to the house they had left unlocked all those years before and his house was just as it was before .
I’d recommend aug to mid September, still alot of tourism but not chaotic like June and July and also not as burning hot, people forget greece is technically on the border of the middle east and Crete is only a stone throw from Egypt.
Just amazing, Spanian. You have given me the only Christmas gift I want. To see that beautiful cave and your reaction along with the serenity. That was so amazing to see. And the story also. To imagine living there while a war was outside in this, too often, cruel world. It's something to treasure seeing. Thank you for giving that moment to us. The reason a lot of icons and statues have been defaced in Greece and modern day western turkey (which was once Greece) is due to the Ottoman Empire being an Islamic caliphate and they viewed it as ‘idol worship’. A great example is in Hagia Sofia in Istanbul (previously Constantinople) which is the holiest Greek Orthodox Church, the ottomans had burned or scratched many of the iconography within the church. They also have large Islamic curtains to cover the icons, but if you look close enough you can still see Greek Orthodox crosses in the patterns on the walls and Jesus displayed in the domes and high parts of the ceiling.
25:25 In Modern Greece and large parts of Modern Turkey, under occupation, the Ottomans would deface a lot of the statues and icons in churches. Often removing the faces. They viewed it as 'idol worship'.
