I don't even have a boat, so I actually saved money not antifouling it

Or just buy vivid and you can paint both the outdrive abd the hull with the same antifoul.

What sand paper grade did you use?

Didn’t he get that the wrong way around
You want to sand then clean- degrease?

Degrease first makes the sanding easier and more effective. Needs a final prepaint wipe before applying primer though.

What are you using to thin down the primer please

Naphtha perhaps? Could be xylene or toluene though. There are many solvents.
