Yeah you need the 14" models or more to do this. There's a few 9" now with a pretty good clearance but i'd still want the bigger motor pushing the blade too. Thanks for watching!
Mat, thanks for sharing. Do you know what blade you have on your bandsaw? I have an older Skil bandsaw and am having issues cutting thick wood....thanks as always for sharing. Love the videos.
I'm using a POWERTEC 1/4 inch 6 tpi blade (off of amazon) I have a 1/2 blade that I'd use for a real straight resaw else this is my goto for the rest. Thanks for watching!
I got it out of center early in the video and realized late, you're right, I suggest he look into ua-cam.com/channels/2VkHpI4Gm2Q_U8bm_ilUKw.html this guy's youtube for anything bandsaw safety / setup.
Very nice Mat!
Thanks for the video 🙂
Thanks glad you liked it! This one blew up!
Good job and projects thx for sharing enjoyed it Keep building Cheers
Thanks! More cooler boxes coming in the future
These are fantastic - do rather rely on you having a bandsaw with a 8” cut though - but get that it’d quickly pay for itself.

They turned out very cool 😎 nice job!
Thanks! I love making those, I'm going to make some pretty crazy ones soon!
For a Walnut stain on pine it looked good.
Yeah it's a decent stain i'm going to try it on pallet wood benches soon, I like how hard the finish feels. Thanks for watching!
Nice!!
Thanks!

@@mfrederickson1 I like to use a 3/16 skip tooth blade from Grizzly. There not that expensive
Great video! May I ask what blade you use in your bandsaw? Thanks, blessings!!!
It's a POWERTEC 1/4 inch 6 TPI Blade (from amazon) I love their brand and have been using them since my my 9" saw

Get one theyre great for creative work, thanks for watching!
Excellent. Unfortunately I only have a 6 1/8” max throat cut on my new band saw. It’s a good one. But I definitely enjoyed your build.
