Porkchop definitely deserves to be higher, he’s a very underrated driver. He’s the only Maniac to actually win an Accelcharger and is skilled in not just driving cars but he’s also motorcycles, semi-trucks which you need a special license for. His only true weakness is his Aquaphobia which is incredibly situational as it only really appears in two realms. It’s also somewhat Tesla’s fault that Porkchop wrecked in the Water Realm for not properly screening his drivers. He knows enough to play on the rivalries of Mark, Kurt, Nolo and Torque, he should know about one of his driver’s crippling fear of water.
Porkchop really seems to sacrifice his skill for the thrill. He could be much better, but he just has too much fun being in the middle of the danger to care about his skill level. He doesn’t just want to beat the drones, he wants to beat them up!
@@extracrispychickenguy1425not just new, some of them were supposed to be former highway 35 drivers. Banjee and verts dad had those action figures that were never released where they are in silencerz gear, and fan theories have dan dresden and Alec hudd as silencerz as well
acceleracers will always be one of my favorite film franchises. the visuals, the surprisingly robust story and the characters that all actually felt like characters. it was one of the few kids media that wasn't afraid to discuss the topic of death, and risk. characters would get injured, have mental traumas and in some cases just straight up die on screen. it gave the show real tension and you never knew how your favorite character would come out of the next realm, if at all. the fact it managed that while also just being awesome and fun at the same time is a masterpiece of storytelling. i can go back to the series 20 years later (dang really??) and still care for these characters and get sucked into its universe just like that. not to mention the awesome soundtrack! every time theres even a hint of a rumor for the 5th movie, fanmade or otherwise i always hold out just a little bit of hope it'll be real this time lol.
I'd probably go with: S- Taro, Kurt A- Vert, Karma B- Shirako, Tork, Nolo, Kadeem(?) C- Mark, Pork Chop, RD-L1, Gelorum D/E- Tezla, Monkey Shirako is highly underrated, he keeps his cool at all times and has usually flawless execution on complex mechanical tests. His only drawback is situational awareness due to having music blasting at all times, but I'd say it is probably what lets him be such a confident and relaxed driver. Pork Chop is also competent, doesn't really make major mistakes and stays focused on the race instead of letting petty grievances get in the way. He never loses a car to an avoidable mistake or accident, and his aquaphobia is only really relevant in one realm, which he realistically should have sat out on since it was such a big problem.
I was tempted because he definitely is leaning towards a C tier but honestly, the fact that he almost killed himself from listening to music to much just nerfs him for me. He does use sound as a weapon alot though. I do like that about him
Honestly, great job on the list, I would agree with most of it, but I think Pork Chop deserves a higher position. He may be reckless but that never actually results in the loss of any of his vehicles. He lost Jack Hammer because of his aquaphobia; Jaw Jammer was destroyed off-screen by Sparky; he deliberately Kamikaze'd Old Smokey to save the other MM drivers from the Sweepers; and Piledriver was abandoned in the Drones HQ. Plus it's mentioned that he never lost a race before meeting the Teku, and he's the only MM to win a Realm. I think he's often overlooked simply because he mostly exists as comic relief, and just isn't seen in that many Realms Also regarding Taro, it's worth noting just how many times he comes close to winning a Realm only to get robbed by the Silencerz...
Hmm. You bring up valid points. However i still feel confident with where i placed him. His loss for jack hammer is still his own because he hesitated due to fear. This is due to his aquaphobia true but regardless still means That jack hammer was lost due to his own fault. and though olsmoky was a kamikaze, it was still a vehicle lost in the realm. I do mention this in the video that two of the vehicles were lost in the realms. Jaw jammer is the exception. I don't think he is in any way a bad driver. He is a great driver when it's the right condition such as the cavern realm. He has strong points where he exels in but I don't think he is able to adjust or adapt to realms as well as a lot of other characters.
@extracrispychickenguy1425 Taro was robbed by the silencers three times, in Metro, ice, and pipeline. He also nearly won water and junk. He probably has the best overall record.
S: Vert, Taro, Kurt A: Gelorum (with all AC), Tork, Nolo, Kadeem, Mark, Karma B: Gelorum (w/o AC) Pork Chop, Shirako, RD-L1 C: Tesla D: Monkey I think if you put Vert or Taro against Gel in that final race I say they tie or better 75-85% of the time, I also think Kurt could tie or better about 60-75%. Vert goes through a lot in AR and has a very big ego and chip on his shoulder that constantly weighs him down and forces mistakes, kinda like how Kurt did in WR. Kurt now is a lot more humble and isn’t as arrogant as he was, as referenced willing to take Karma under his wing a bit. He does have guilt about his brother but I don’t think he lets it effect his driving at all. Taro is mostly the same throughout and when not unconscious or getting scammed is great to watch, they all have flaws but are very good adaptable racers. Gel is very much a benchmark. I think both Tork and Nolo are the same level of driver, just with different tones and styles, very much letting the past dictate their driving sometimes. Putting Kadeem here very much on his WR portfolio and I don’t think any of the drivers below him would have handled what happened any better than he did except Karma and Mark. Karma’s lack of screen presence hurts her character a lot and not just in her driving, as such I cannot put her higher. Mark is above Karma for a few reasons. One he caught up to everyone going toward the OG accelerome, which is a massive feat; and while he did bully other drivers he was always able to catch up which says a lot about how well he drives fast. I think when Mark isn’t being a hot head, he is more adaptable than Karma who is a bit more robotic in striving for perfection which imop takes her down a peg.
11:25 It was called the Nitrox 3 1/2 and it was capable of making a car go 300MPH in reverse, which worked for Taro when he was escaping the Drone HQ in The Speed of Silence
I think RD-L1 deserves a higher spot considering he actually had opponents in 3 of the 4 previous tracks. As a brief reminder Tezla sent Banjee, Alec, Dresden and Kadeem into the realms before Ignition. During the race in the swamp realm Banjee crashed and got saved by the Silencerz, which got confirmed by leaked merchandise for the second season and later on confirmed by Jeff Gomez that atleast Banjee became a Silencer. This means that the RD-L1 faced off against both AcceleRacers and Silencerz in atleast the 3 realms and won. I however doubt he raced in the first interation of the Swamp realm as neither he nor the drones in general had intel on the realm.
I first saw World race on TV at a Halloween party. The children were gathered around the TV in the child’s room of the parents we were partying with. I found myself caught up in the movie because I grew up loving cars. I grew up on the original Dukes of Hazzard and Knight Rider. I’m also a mechanic so the movie impressed me in some ways. When my son turned four years old, someone bought him the DVD hot wheels accelerator, ignition. All I know it was I was hooked at that point and ordered all five DVDs. World, race, accelerator, racers, ignition, speed of silence, point break, and the ultimate race. I was and am very upset that they quit the series. They left us hanging with one of the worst cliffhangers I have ever had to endure. Who do we have to talk to to get the last Movies completed. I know that Andrew Duncan was vert and was one of the creators. I suppose I could find his email online possibly. By the way, I liked your video. You missed a few things but I think you definitely nailed the 2top drivers. Taro and Vert are definitely top 2 drivers with different driving styles. I’m 49 years old and have been into cars for my whole life and Taro has my style of driving. He un understands what a car can and can not do. Anyway, got to go! Great job! Keep it up!
Something you missed with RD-L1 - he WASN'T driving unopposed before the Acceleracers movies take place. There were other drivers from World Race that Tezla sent into the realms before contacting the Teku and Metal Maniacs. Namely Banjee Castillo, Dan Dresden, and Alec Wood are confirmed to have been lost to the realms (though apparently Banjee is confirmed to have been rescued and recruited by the Silencerz, with it being speculated to be the same with the other two)
That is true but the axact details were unkown and also we know that the drones had access to the wheel of power first and that it was only after Tezlas acident that he was able to get into the realms. It is also stated by Galorum that Humans had entered the realm in the lightning realm. Had the drones encountered the world race drivers previously she would not have told RD-L1 that humans are now racing since he would have aready known this prior. I think it is more likly that maybe Banjee and the rest went missing on their very first realm...that bing the swamp realm and so no one technicaly won that realm so it closed and re-entered the realm cycle. The drones never entered the swamp realm untill the teku and maniacs showed up because they were surprised to see it. I beleive that Tezla somehow got access to the swamp realm before the drones did and this is where everyone else went missing. We know that no one won the swamp realm because Nolo won that realm and once a realm is won it is closed. I think it makes more sense that the drones became a threat after the first attemp of the swamp realm since Tezla had only one driver left, that being kadeem, and so while he was looking for other racers, the drones were winning accelachargers. Regardless It is unkown as to when the world race racers went missing but I do beleive that the Drones largly went unchallenged due to Galorum bringing up the fact that humans had entered the lightning realm. It was a surprise to her.
Vert, Kurt and Taro are the overall best and I'd put Kurt in S Tier, in Vert's case not only because of his semi-on/off screen feat of going through ALL realms, only knowing 6 of them previously and the other 23 being his first time through them (which is insane if you ask me), but because in the films these three are the racers who were most of the time either first or in the podium when they participated in any realm (until something bad happened of course xd). To clarify, when I say podium here, I don't mean "who we actually saw coming out in that order" as we really don't see that almost anywhere, with podium I mean where were the racers placed at the ending of each realm (as we can only assume they finished in roughly that order, we're almost never shown who comes out in what order, unless otherwise specified, like storm realm, vert and kurt were first, but vert got out last because he wanted to save kadeem). Storm Realm, Vert and Kurt were fighting for first place against the drones, sadly, their lack of experience in the realms, Vert got scared of lightning (well who wouldn´t lol) and made a bad stop that resulted in the multiple collision, giving the victory to the drones. Still, from Tesla's team, Vert and Kurt were the best in this one. Taro's curse comes back. Swamp Realm, I can't say for sure who was first here honestly, all paths are lead to the end yet everyone just kind of got caught in the middle of them, so this one doesn't count in the favor of anyone other than Nolo, drones have it worse as they already raced here, failed, and even coming back with their memories re-uploaded, they still did like crap lol, minus points for them. Cavern Realm, Vert wasn't shown here, I don't remember if Taro was here either, Kurt was I think, but he didn't do that good here, point for Pork Chop and Shirako. Lava Realm, Vert was about to win but Taro had to bring his curse "I'm gonna pass you" and do some stupid bullsh*t that prevented them to win. Kurt went through the long road so I assume he'd be roughly second place. Minus points to Taro for his BS. Water Realm, although Vert got lucky with the hyperpode, anyone could've, he was first by a wide margin but sadly his cockiness got in the way, point for the drones. Honorary mention to Taro, although to be fair it was his second run and Karma was assisting him, but still impressive. Kurt was kind of in the middle here, not bad, not good either, but the rest were the same. City/Metro Realm, my personal opinion here, but this one goes to Kurt, the animators did sh*t in the ending of this realm and there's no logical way for Kurt to arrive just before Taro but after the silencers without anyone noticing anything strange, so for me, Kurt takes the win here, f*ck you animators you were drunk that day. Taro was the undisputed second until silencers came to mess with him. Vert wasn't in Tesla's team here until Junk Realm. Cliffside Realm, We know the silencers got this one because of the accelechargers inside Iridium in the 4th film, but we don't really see anything important other than Kurt saving Shirako, so I guess honorary point to Kurt here, but we don't know how well was everyone doing. Ice Realm, Point for Taro here, the guy should really stop thinking he has dementia and start asking himself that if a drone suddenly transforms into a companion, that thing is NOT your companion bruh. Anyways, he was 1st place until silencers knew he's guillible and Banjee got some good laughs because of it, point for Banjee as well. Kurt wasn't shown here. Pipe Realm, No one was doing specifically good in this one, and silencers basically cheated by going outside of the pipes, so no points for anyone here, also Taro, WAKE UP FOR F*CKS SAKE the silencers are taking you as a joke right now. Junk Realm, Vert had bad luck with that magnet, even with that, he was first along a silencer, such a bad luck that Vert wasn't present in the acceledrome to be warned about them, his bad luck really hit him here cause he was the first to reach the last obstacle of the stage. The EMP left him out of comission for a long time enough for everyone to pass him (except Mark cause you know what happened), and in the end, Kurt and Taro were the podium again. YOU FINALLY WOKE UP TARO, that silencer underestimated you, I believe he was laughing when thinking "will he notice my purple visor or is he that stupid?" lol. Kurt takes the win here with Taro's assistance. Ruins Realm, guys in charge of the script, what the hell bro, why did you give Vert a motorcycle when his Reverb was fine to race?, Kurt and Taro weren't shown here and we know the drones took the win because of the accelechargers in Gelorum's car before drones put in the silencers' accelechargers. No one was impressive here as we didn't saw much of anyone, so no points for anyone. Minus points for the scripters. Cosmic Realm, doesn't count, no one was racing to win in Tesla's team. The Ultimate Race, Vert MVP, he finally shows what he's truly capable of when he focuses on racing, with confidence and no cockiness, just like he did in Highway 35 (although more serious because this time it's a race for everyone's fate). Many points for him for the reasons stated at the beginning, honorary points for Lani, Tesla, Spark and Gig for their assistance. Minus infinity points for Gelorum, she had the memories of the racing drones, half of the cheat codes for the realms, and Vert didn't cross the final portal first just by milimiters, Gelorum you're the worst racer ever, RD-L1 should take your place as Drone Supreme Commander. So in the end, from the 12 realms shown, 4 don't count as in cosmic no one wanted to win, in the other three we either don't see who was faring well for the ending, their positions, or anything at all from the race to let us guess how well everyone did. In the other 8 realms, Vert, Kurt and Taro were always the Podium aside from Cavern and Swamp realm. I believe Kurt should be in S tier as he's in the podium just as much as the other two S tiers when any of them are racing in the same realm as him, in fact he's most of the time ahead of Taro when both are in the same race reaching the end (Metro and Junk realm's ending in favor of Kurt against Water realm's ending in favor of Taro, 2 against 1 Kurt wins). PD: Shirako when someone messes with his music ascends to I'm aboutta blow up your car-Tier, which is way beyond S-Tier (joking lol)
I think Vert has the best peak performance in the series. Taro on the other had, is reliably amazing. Vert is so on the edge that he will either win or crash. Meanwhile, Taro will always finish, and and pull off a top finish.
The best are usually wreckless because they have the confidence and will to take risks. This doesnt mean that they cant be precise or drive with precision or play it safe. The confident drivers have produced or have gotten close to producing results. Pork chop should be higher☝🏾
Loved the video, but why didn't you include any of the Silencerz drivers tho? this might be biased bc i loved the Silencerz lol, but from what i can see, they're all pretty skilled drivers, especially major wheeler. They won a few Realms (Neon Pipeline, Metro, Ice, and Cosmic), and were able to keep up with most of the drivers (Junkyard realm for example)
Acceleracers had a collectible card game in 2004. The cards where released with the hot wheel cars but also they had booster packs and a deck builder. They go for a lot of money now days

Update I've been spending 10 days building assets on blender and learning animation if anybody has voice acting knowledge and writing practice I would be more than happy to talk to you pay you do whatever but I think I'm gonna try and make this even hot wheels says no screw em
Nolo is very low. We have to remember the lore. Vert, Nolo and Shirrako were very young, that should give them points and the fact they probably can get better over time. Also Nolo winning the Swamp Realm was pretty damn impressive given all the other drivers were already done for. He screwed up the Metro realm because of his vendetta with Tork, not because he wasn't skilled. He was also the leader of the Teku (he should be good). My S tier would be Taro, Vert, Kurt and Nolo. Kurt and Taro were the most pro out of all the drivers prior to the world race.

I got recommended this video by UA-cam and I see you also have a Bionicle video? Say no more, I subscribed.
Damn crazy how much effort you put into this video and how well made it is. Seems unfair you have so few subs. Well at least you have one more now.
Thank you so much
Underrated vídeo, tkx man 🤝🫡
Appreciate it!
Algo is gonna pick this up for sure.
I think Kurt should be S tier
This is gonna blow up in like a month or two 🗣️🔥
I think a rating on how difficult each racing realm was would be a really cool video too.
That would be a cool video.
Damned fine video.
Good content
Thanks man
I get chills almost every time I hear anything but down, that should say it all
Same
This brings me back so hard
Karma is calm, collected and cold like a robot ;)
Oh man this was like a vague memory for me and then happens to show up on my recommendation this week 😆.
Pork chop should be higher☝🏾
very complete video of a very complex cast of characters, lots of analysis from every minimal detail
Acceleracers is Absolute Cinema
i love this
I think the real reason Kurt didn’t want Marky to join his team on world race was so Marky would stay out of danger.
To be fair to Vert he could have won storm and water if he didn't get distracted or cocky.
For sure
That theme has no right to go that hard
Shirako is highly underrated :(
This video just brings back memories. I used to have Taro's plymouth and Riveted along with 2 RD-06s when I was growing up.
I love the road runner. TARO had great taste
KURT team, less go ❤
When Sharks locks in he is a very good driver.. but other than that bros just in his own world
I'll never understand why Tezla keeps sending Monkey out to drive at all lol
Yeah he is definitely a better mechanic
Hotwheels World Race and Acceleracers wer a huge part of my childhood.
Mine too
They really need to bring back acceleracers to give it a proper ending. We have been waiting.
I know man
I LOVE Kurt wylde he is my Favorite Charakter in the Show 😊
Loved the video, but why didn't you include any of the Silencerz drivers tho? this might be biased bc i loved the Silencerz lol, but from what i can see, they're all pretty skilled drivers, especially major wheeler. They won a few Realms (Neon Pipeline, Metro, Ice, and Cosmic), and were able to keep up with most of the drivers (Junkyard realm for example)
Honestly I forgot lol. I think something happened to his picture when I uploaded it to tier maker
What are those AMAZING animated cards??
Acceleracers had a collectible card game in 2004. The cards where released with the hot wheel cars but also they had booster packs and a deck builder. They go for a lot of money now days
Hey bro here in Brazil we have an big community by accelarecers and see you talking about this movies it soy cool, send an hello for brazil, kkkkk sorry my english is more lass
Thank you :)
Sparky is actually good co driver
I hope theres a fith movie i know there wont be but i can always have a wish
Update I've been spending 10 days building assets on blender and learning animation if anybody has voice acting knowledge and writing practice I would be more than happy to talk to you pay you do whatever but I think I'm gonna try and make this even hot wheels says no screw em
i fucking love acceleracers!!!
My S tier would be
Taro, Vert, Kurt and Nolo.
Kurt and Taro were the most pro out of all the drivers prior to the world race.
I could definitely see him being a s tier if they made a 5th movie
@@extracrispychickenguy1425
It's overall good ngl.
But Porkchop should be higher than Shirrako.
And Dr Tesla should be Above Monkey and Lanny. (He did complete the pipeline realm, and i mean we only saw him lose to a lot of drones).
that is a fair point. I didnt put Lani on the list because she really dident drive. Monkey tho I was like, it could go either way.
i apriciant appreciate your comment my guy. thank you.
@@extracrispychickenguy1425
Yeah but Lanny was a driver in the world Race, she did complete every track (Except the first part).
So i Guess she wasn't bad if she was recruited for whatever reason.
Hell yeaaaaaaaaaaaah. Acceleracers is the shit!!!!!
This was season 2 to Hot Wheels highway 35 show
Yes it was
*Lol my top 5 best drivers is very different.*
I'd like to hear it
Kurt is my favorite character
Battle Force 5 Next?????
Its Nitrox 3 and a Half.... lets you go 300 miles in reverse as Monkey stated xD but it didn't work out
It did work actually. Someone forgot Taro did it when he got into the Drone HQ and wanted out.
Kurt is S tier
you forgot the world record team hot wheels set
Whos that?
@@extracrispychickenguy1425 in like 2012 hot wheels set a world record jump im pretty sure the record is beaten nowadays but yeah
That's not part of acceleracers though
@@extracrispychickenguy1425i forgot to mention about the very start of the video of you mentioning what hot wheels has done over the years the brand has existed
Yeah It wasn't the main focus of the video tho. Didn't want to give that segment that much time
wy is Sharaku in the same tear with monkey? Sharaku can control his drifts, counter correct his car and keep up at high speed, monkey did the opposite.
Ngl, any robot character should automatically in S tier AUTOMATICALLY, they were stated and SHOWN to be the best drivers regardless of anything Glorum should be in S tier 😅
Also for Vert he had help, he learned the races on the go because he was being aided 😅
But they lost before and got destroyed all the time. Skill and winning are different
Not in the final race he wasn't
@@extracrispychickenguy1425 facts on the skill and winning part
What about sparky?
He didn't race
@@extracrispychickenguy1425 i know but i just felt bad because he was the only one who wasnt in video. And he did ride with vert once when drones were in the base.
11:28 "its called nitrox 3...and 1/2. You can go 300 mph in reverse!"
He also got it working and it saved Taro from the Drone HQ
I forgot about that instant. That was awesome
