Just received the blue one. WOW - incredibly comfortable and impressive. Beautiful color combination and ceramic material is superb! Thanks for the review - moved my purchase along!
Rado is a very innovative Brand with style. I already wear the green Captain Cook for a while, but now I wait for a ceramic version with normal dial :-)
I got hooked to this channel due to Rado watches. They film and review it perfectly and patiently with right POV angles on wrist. That gives better view to audience. Dislike the close up shots which doesn’t give an idea on how watches looks in real life. But this video is perfect. Thanks from Dallas, TX
My wife just gifted me the black & gold version! :) Got it at a great deal too (-20%) at the AD as part of the Dubai Shopping Festival promotions. Absolutely love the watch. You are correct about the materials and how it feels on the wrist. It doesnt feel too heavy like my Seiko 5 on steel bracelet.
A month too late for me. I just bought a Blancpain Bathyscaphe ceramic Blue. Not comparing prices here. I was wanting to add a ceramic diver to my modest collection. Last year Rado issued the Captain Cook 42mm in Bronze. I picked it up. This is a great affordable for anyone wanting a ceramic diver. Different timing and I would be ordering this beauty..
Let me know when there’s a non-skeletonized model at a cheaper price point. The see-through dial is silly for a dive watch, and $4k (USD RRP) is Tudor money.
"We do not buy Rado watches" -a sign I've seen in the windows of a couple of traders in the nineties. Why was that? Are they still "non grata" in professional circles? The blue Rado is calling me.
I love the Captain Cook, even the ladies white one. But this one is too thick, no diving bracelet and clasp, and the smoky look is not making it any cooler.
I actually enjoyed the Carrera open dials but that's because they were done at a high quality. These look cheap and I don't think it looks good. The problem with all open dials is that they are not timeless, they won't age well and the materials may look dated in a few years
To be honest skeleton doesnt work on a classic/vintage inspired case. Most of the time the whole watch has to be designed with a skeleton movement in mind. This is hideous.

Rado is what Rolex is in many countries, they been leaders in there field for several decades, at prices that are affordable, Jeff.

RADO have been doing ceramic for ages... Nice watch 👌🏽
Best rado review on youtube, got mine in black and gold today😍
Great review. This is now on my short list for 10 year anniversary present to myself. Thank you.

You are a lucky man Sir. They are stunning watches that will still be in mint condition many decades later thanks to the materials used.
These watch's are stunning ! The lug to lug is a bit scary, but I'd love to try one on in person, I'd go with the black and gold, looks great
Have a Breitling Super Ocean Heritage.42mm, Black and Red gold. It's stunning this one would be too and it's ceramic much lighter on the wrist.
The Blue bezel model is my favorite! Very attractive watch. The engineering of Rado's ceramics are great.
Good job sir. It’s on my shopping list for Christmas. Greetings from Switzerland, the birthplace of fabulous mechanical watches. Happy new year. Chris

ouuuu that 15mm height is slightly just tooooo beefy for me. Fantastic looking watch though!
Great looking watch! Hope they give the ceramic treatment to the 37mm version!
With date window was perfect 🤩
This is really cool, just ordered one
Always a like for Rado
If it offered a date, it would be a buy!
@0.34 LOOKS FANTASTIQUE WHATS THE REFERENCE?
I like the watches but I wish it came with an option for a non see through dial. Kinda takes something away the way it is IMO
It‘s available with black dial
I like the pvc gold version
I want an three.

Look... I hate to be this bitch, but your accent is just magic!
Price??
How much?
wonder how much is it
Interesting

If only it had a date complication
Why so thick? Is it because of the ceramic case? Kind of a turn off. The steel ones are not nearly so thick.
El movimiento del segundero no me gustó, gracias por el análisis del reloj.

Would be killer in stainless steel...
They offer a very attractive "super chrome" version
There are steel models!
But the movement in not extraordinary.....and monoblock case!!?
similar to orient star

I think they messed up on a classic and popular line of watches with this skeleton look.
I disagree. I think it works. Gorgeous watch.
I’m a huge fan of the Captain Cook, but these are truly hideous
idk i thought it looked really good to be honest, something different!
Will check them out but a bit of a clunker.

April's fools??
I have OCD, I will never be able to tolerate that constantly moving Rado logo on the dial.
