Since they are on such high demand and b&h said they would be on back order until November. So I invested in a fujifilm x-t30ii and I’m so excited to get it. Since it was available and I’ve been wanting a Fuji so badly. I love the film simulation. I can’t wait to play around with it.
@@robjkim so far I like it. I wanted to keep it small so I got the cheap 3rd party 27mm 2.8 AF pancake lens. Impressed for the price. I want to try some other lenses on it. I’m impressed with the video quality at only 8 bit too
The X100V is great and all but its become another product that became ruined because of social media and these damn influencers hence the unavailability of it and resellers taking advantage. It's ridiculous.
Thanks for watching! They were a mix of my editing on LR and a few film recipes I used. I made a video about some of my favorite film recipes I use for the X100V.
The price being paid for it can get you a proper professional camera, If you got a lot of money you're not into evaluating purchase decisions then sure, you can get it
Yes, it depends! Some times I do, but most times I just edit them myself in LR. Sure thing, I’d be more than happy to share a few of my recipes. I have done a video about two of my favorites. Go check it out!
Anyone reading this comment. PLEASE DONT BUY THE FUJI X100V - not for the $2000 price they are going for. It’s not worth it at all, just because it’s out of stock don’t go crazy trying to ge tone
Thanks for your opinion. I am not on here trying to sell a camera, just simply sharing my opinions on it. If that makes you want the camera, great; if not, great also.
The X100V is definitely over-hyped compared to other current generation Fujifilm cameras that deliver the same or better image quality. It’s two main tricks are first the 23mm pancake lens which Fujifilm don’t make for their ILC cameras. The Fuji 23mm X lenses aren’t pancakes, though there is an 18mm f2 and 27mm f2.8 pancake. Second the leaf shutter allows a fast flash sync outdoors, which is great for fill flash in daylight. However, this is a feature I doubt most users would utilise much.
Appreciate the feedback! Yes, a lot of people believe this camera is overhyped. I think if we are talking specs, there are way better cameras out there. I just personally think the X100V is ONE of the best at portability and image quality. It bridges that gap perfectly. Again, just my opinion after 2 years of use. Thanks for watching!

Wow! Until November? Yeah that’s crazy. That’s cool, I hope you have a good time shooting with it! Thanks for watching. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
X-t30ii has just the same image quality as the X100v but with interchangeable lenses. For most people it’s a much better choice.
if only they are available 🥲🥲🥲
I know! I was actually shocked to hear that they’ve been on back order for a while now…
Hang in there you’ll get one eventually and sooner 😉
I couldn’t find one so I settled on a used X-S10. Similar size with a large grip. Great images coming from that sensor.
Oh sweet, I’ve heard great things about that camera also but have no experience using it. How do you like it so far?

@@dccoletrainwhat lens is that?
@@leonthesleepy interchangeable lenses. I use a pancake 27mm lens most of the time that is 40mm full frame.
The x100z is coming out in the beginning of 2024! Just hang in there for the new version guys!!!!
Oh I didn’t know that! Good to hear.
Cool stuff. Was wondering if you graded some of the early shots but sounds like you did in Lr. Dope!
Yes, they were graded in LR. Thank you for watching!
The X100V is great and all but its become another product that became ruined because of social media and these damn influencers hence the unavailability of it and resellers taking advantage. It's ridiculous.
Yes I agree 100%, I liken it to what happened to the Contax T2 on the film side of things.
Can you share the simulations you use for each picture and any additional custom settings? Beautiful pictures btw!
A lot of these were just edited by me in LR. In a future video I’ll show some of my edits.
Awesome video! Any favorite recipes you use for the simulations?
I will share some more in some future videos but I have a video on my channel about 2 of my favorite ones!
Nice video bro. Keep it up!
Just wanna ask what presets you use for your pictures they are stunning!

The only major drawback to a fixed lens. Is you cannot get a proper background blur.
yes thats true but background blur isn’t necessary for most pictures to look great. this camera is best at for on-the-go stuff.
The price being paid for it can get you a proper professional camera, If you got a lot of money you're not into evaluating purchase decisions then sure, you can get it
Yeah the price being paid for these nowadays is crazy. Thanks for watching.
Beautiful man
Much love, thank you for watching. 🙏🏼
Love it 😎👌
Thanks for watching! 😁
I won’t use it for photography work that my clients pay for. My x100v is for my personal use 😊
fair enough! thank for watching!
Do you use Jpegs? If so would like to see a recipes video.

What is your favorite film recipe? thanks
Hmm, two of the one I use the most are my Portra 160 and Fuji 400H recipes.
@@robjkim i will try that one out. Thanks
Thanks for watching!

Agreed. It's great for its retail price but definitely not for its resell price especially anywhere north of $2k.
Oh yeah, I don’t think I’d pay more than retail for it.
which recipe at 7.12?
I believe it was a portra 400 or 160 recipe.
I hate that dumb hipsters overpriced this camera into oblivion. That being said, your photos are cool.
hah, thank you. i think it was mostly tik tok that blew it up lol
Not as cool as GR3.
just picked one up actually, my next video will be on that. Thanks for watching!
