Lovely work! This gives me ideas. I have an old quilt that my husband's grandmother made and it's falling apart. I might be able to salvage some of it and use it in something like this as the base piece to embellish. It's just been tucked away in my sewing room for years because I didn't know what to do with it.

It's very meditative and it is a neat way to show case a special fabric or a special pin or something. You know, those things that'll just sit around gathering dust otherwise. :-) lol Take care! xo
