- We no longer have to isolate so I get to go shopping in 3 shops, including Iceland and ASDA for those perishable items today. I also pop to a health food shop in search of corn cakes. I've got to admit, I really enjoy shopping in person: it must be the hunter-gatherer in me!! I had a real fix at ASDA's reduced to clear sections - there were all the sorts of bargains there that were just up my street and we'll be eating like queens for the next few days👑👑.

I'm Imo and she's Izzy. We're a UK mother and daughter vlogging combo that loves to get out and about and exploring South Wales and beyond.

We have just gone into lockdown so only food can be bought, they have taped off all the non food items. Today with us clear blue skies 24°C it’s wonderful. Will be having drinks on the balcony latter. real sausage rolls wish we got them here. Nice selection of healthy food.

That was a big shop to pull home. If you got a larger trolley just think how much heavier it'd be with an even bigger shop! Oh those reduced prices are crazy wonderful.

I noticed there are now signs in the trollies saying they are anti microbial. I nearly filmed it on tuesday night. It's like magic!
Maybe you could capture it next time you go. I quite like capturing the pandemic stuff. I think once it comes to pass, people will be curious about it for years to come and these vlogs of ours will be a good primary source for their research.
I bet they'll make films, books and documentaries about it for years to come.

Spent $18 on a big stainless steel mixing bowl and used it 3 times.
It's kind of cold and unfriendly to the touch... but then gets suddenly hot with hot liquids. It'll have its uses I daresay.

Wow... I got so involved and excited about all the amazing sale prices on all that amazing food. Maybe you should invest in a bigger portable cart.. hahaha. I love the mixing bowls you got.. they are the perfect sizes for anything you need to make. I had to laugh at IB and the tupperware section. That's hilarious.. hahaha. If there's a shopping cart with a screwy wheel, it finds me. So, I've learned to test drive a shopping cart, and if it moves off center, it gets replaced. I noticed that you don't have to pay for your carts. Our carts take a loonie (1.00 coin) but you get that returned when the cart is returned. I did a grocery shop today, got some good sales, but nothing like your discount prices. Our discount on anything is 30% off of the original sticker price. Thanks for sharing !!. 💖
Oh he really does love his Tupperware. He likes to compartmentalise things so he uses them for so much more that just food! We have to put a refundable £1 in our trolleys normally, too. Some shops do, some don't.
Must look out for those lentil cakes.they look good. Those Richmond sausages are always sold out in my local Tesco. The burgers are nice. Have you tried them??
Yes! They're not bad. Those chilli dogs were excellent too, btw. I tried them today for my lunch. The lentil cakes were very crunchy, mostly air and taste very lentilly. :¬)

10:29 they only reason why most of them are at a reduced price is because the farmers are trying to get rid of them at whatever price right now because they can't sell them. As they are having hard time exporting these. As you see in the video all the UK grown products are rediculessly cheap because the farmers can't sell them in Europe and so therefore they are rotting out so they are selling it off to get rid of it and all the non UK grown products like grape orange banana are bit high priced due to delays and import fees and paperwork. I feel bad for the UK farmers as they are the ones suffering.

Hunter gatherer.. for corn cakes 🤣🤣 it's still somewhat unnerving going in to stores. Too many not following safety guidelines here.
Here too. Our CV cases, last time I checked, were at 25 cases per 100,000 which is the lowest it's been since the end of last summer, hence I've got out to shops quick while it's so low in case it doesn't last. All school kids will be back from next week so we may or may not see a rise again. Many older adults have been vaccinated now, so hopefully there will be a lot less deaths at least.
