- We're getting to the point of the 2024 Pokémon competitive season, and the current rule set, where we're starting to see some trends in the meta. Certain Pokémon and teams are starting to show up regularly in Top Cut - and even some usual competitors, as well!

Could Sinistcha be viable outside of a Trick Room team? I wanted to utilize it on a hyper offensive team as a means of keeping my HP up with Hospitality (mainly using it as constant sitrus berry for its partner and also threatening a Matcha Gotcha here and there

The VGC rules are you can't run a Pokemon nicknamed as another Pokemon. I think it has something to do with verifying team sheets that you can't switch and say "oh, I thought we were writing down their display names" or something like that... Otherwise I don't actually know the origin of the rule.
@@nafeidt I can see how that would cause issues. I can't think of specific examples but it sounds like something that could end up screwing something up

Yeah it’s definitely an overuse of transitions, but considering the game is still intended for children I can only imagine the audience for this channel is mostly young and these are the transitions they’re used to.
