Hello Sir I recently installed pulpstone openwrt on TP-Link mr3420 v5 router but it is impossible for me to execute the command opkg update in putty,I always have the message downloading failed but when I send a ping command to google it goes successfully, what could be the problem please? I connected my TP-link router(wan port) to another router (lab port) who already has internet connexion. The router with internet connexion receives its connexion through an optic fibre. Please I really need your help on this 🙏🏽
@@oliviandosse2839 Honestly, it's hard to answer directly. Out of curiosity, I checked various forums and there are many ideas. For example, someone set up the operator's DNSs directly on their device and only that helped.

Check info here: openwrt.org/toh/huawei/hg556a Warning: Versions 19.07.0 to 19.07.3 stable releases don't work. The router hangs while loading the kernel caused by an IRQ bug. Warning: Any version between 17.01.5 and 18.06.3 (both included) causes a cal_data corruption, leaving the wifi not usable for any firmware unless you restore again this partition.
Thanks my TP-LINK
TL-MR3420 v2 worked Greetings From Guatemala

Do you have an IPv6-address?
Do you ping Google by domain or by IP address?

To be honest I don't know, ask here: forum.openwrt.org/ and write more details about your network.
