- My AMV for the Liger Zero from Zoids - New Century Zero
Yea I don't own the anime or music, however the credits are entirely my own work =D
Yea, it gets worse as the amv goes on, but thats only because I lost interest after doing the Jager part. Stupid lack of Schneider video...

The Jager was designed specifically for speed, with little armor.
The Shneider was designed for close combat, but does have boosters and thrusters that help its speed (faster than Zero, but slower than Jager).
The Panzer was designed for heavy firepower with mass artillery, which results in overheating and also restricts much of its movement.
So yes, the Panzer is considered an artillery type zoid.

I should point out, getting hit by a Strike Laser Claw from Jager as top speed would still be pretty brutal. Since Jager is pretty heavy armor. It makes the fact the unarmored Berserk Fury taking only a small scratch across it's chestplate even more impressive. Even without the crazy cutting power Schneider has, that would rend most Zoids in two.
this is kinda in late since this is a 10yo comment but also the stats shows that Panzer has a speed of 285 KM/H, the Schneider 310 KM/H, Jager 330 KM/H while the basic white armor liger zero has a speed of 307KM/h so even though it is the slowest, the anime only portrait it to move around barely 100 km/h but other then that all the forms are nearly same speed
Zoids new century was perhaps one of the most exciting anime's of it's time, fans would hurry home to watch the next installmet and it kept things interesting and fun to watch. Loved it when I was young, still do to this day. One thing you could always count on, when that title song started, thing were about to get fun ^^.
This is one of my favorite anime I always rush home from school when I was a elementary student just to watch every episode of it.
Liger Zero was a true partner.

please stop all these VS assumptions... It makes no sense whatsoever that because an anime shows more powerful mechas it is better. Both Gundam and Zoids have their own appeal

The standard, Jager and Schneider are indeed quick on their paws when the Panzer isn't which begs the question: Is the Panzer suppose to be an artillery type of zoid? I never understood that so clarification will be appreciated

With all said and done the blade liger is the the strongest zoid of all it took the liger zero to use enhancements to defeat it
In the show perhaps but nothing beats old zoids like the King Gojulas, and the Deadboarder would wipe the floor with it, they had anti gravity cannons, they could lift and literally crush ultrasaurus.

Liger Zero and Shield Liger are the best protagonist zoids for me.. There are new series of zoids but I don't feel to watch them anymore. They made the character pilots look too childish.
I love the physical (body to body) teeth, claws fighting scenes... I do not think we saw much of that in the first zoids...
Suggestion, next time Don't flash the screen to the beat, People have epilepsy and I'd hate to see them getting a seizure from watching this otherwise very good AMV

I'm very sorry but I have to say... a Gundam would rape the shit out of a Zoid... im sorry I just came from rewatching Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny... Gundams are faster AND have more firepower than any Zoid plus the Pilots (if they are coordinators which is from MSGS + MSGSD) can go into "SEED" mode which drastically increases their aim + they are more lethal in that state... Gundam vs. Zoid = Gundam win hands down

Chaotic Century and this one, New Century Zero, were the best in my opinion. Fuzors threw away everything I knew about zoids. Apparently the Liger Zero and the Geno Saurers were just ordinary unit in that show; that made me go WTF. I also thought that the fuze-ing thing was also gimmicky. Never watched Genesis except a few trailers and I thought that the animation was poor. They need to bring back Zoids; a realistic take on the original story would be great.
why do waste your life saying this o__O, its like saying a Naruto character would kill a bleach character..... Noone cares. Gundams are made to be powerful, Zoids are just customised animals, who evolve and act like real life creatures, theres virtually no reason to compare them.
Always wondered why this installment of Zoids started off the theme of the main hero’s zoid is some sort of Liger, such as Bit’s liger zero, and the final fight of the installment is against a zoid that is somehow Dino based like with the Berserk Fury or Bio Tyranno
if you can disign a multi axis moter for the shoulders and wrists/ankles and a power source for the whole thing, then power to you. I think a small scale fusion reactor would be best.

@gilder151 Yeah, but it works. A lot of shows used to do that, they gave characters exotic names to say that they're a bit rare.

21 years old Still Watches Zoids and Yanno What idc what ppl think. \m/ zoids glad it can still be found on the net. I make a tredition to watch it every year since it being canceled to remind myself how awesome childhood was.
