I jus wish yiannimize was up north I wrapped my whole car watching niko n Mark For a first timer I did more than good And the wrap still on my car been 2.5 years...... Open another branch I'd deffo apply n smash these jobs out for fun
The guy that was hearing impaired seems to have a lot of drive. Takes some balls to push past all the people telling you, you can't do things and try to excel at them.
I wish i recorded doing my wing mirrors then, It actually wasn't hard and they are using Avery which is some of the best wrap in the business. Non of the cheap stuff like i did for my wing mirror which is staying strong coming upto a year now. Used some 3m Matt black to wrap my roof of my car, this was slightly more difficult but did it in half a hour and it even started raining too. Not been funny but this guy who went first was god dam awful. He doesn't know you dont want to heat and stretch if you can help it. Only use heat to help but you need to glass your surface out by hand as much as possible before using heat to help. Because if you stretch it has a sort of memory so in warm weather it will only want to return to it's previous shape.
Have these ppl really applied for this? It looks like they have just grabbed ppl walking past the place...... feel sorry for there loved ones at birthdays an Christmas They must be shit at wrapping presents too
We dont need another fake and scripted "reality" show. Sorry to spoil it for you but theres already a winner and full cast even before this first show was filmed.
I attempted to wrap my car for the first time... and to be honest, it wasn't hard at all, little bit of trial and error on one side, finished it in 1/4 of the time the other side. Obviously I'm not fast, but the end result is perfect, way better than many "professionally" wrapped cars I've seen. Hardest part was doing big panels by yourself.
Great execution, this should be picked up a TV station. One tip is that when deciding where to rank the wrapper (Ex: @18:20) over their voice from the interview show a couple seconds on their final wrap job, maybe like a pan around the wrapped piece. Gives us a better clue on what the judges are talking about when they are critiquing the wrapper.
Don’t think it’s fair to have the first task to be a wrap task when you said that beginners can apply, obviously beginners won’t know how to wrap. Doesn’t make sense, why bring them in the competition in the first place.
How are you this dumb? This is just like tv. This isnt a real audition. The auditions were already done. They knew who they were gonna pick on the teams and they knew who was brought in to be on the real show. The rest of the guys were just paid extras. Come on man. You have to think to yourself that the entire crew is on a budget and time schedule. Why bring in 20 or 40 people and HOPE a few of them can wrap? If none of them can then bring in another 40? No way. A seperate company auditions the real wrappers, then when they have those they bring in these extras to fool idiots like you that this is legit. As a human race we're doomed with people like you. Go check out some of the pranks on here. You'll really like them LMAO
It makes perfect sense actually, in competitions try your best and they see where you are compared to everyone else. Like in Ink masters they start tattooing right away, they’re not there to learn the basics of tattooing.
Only just started to follow you guys after a it was recommended , so far I’ve been massively impressed with the quality of work I’d love to get my classic scooby wrapped
I am confused. I doubt they intend to ship the parts only wrapped in that, but that is what wrapping is isn't it? Or is this more of a paint job but with a plastic sheet glued on (or more like shrunk by the heat gun obviously but still)? For someone not into the stuff or part of the industry this doesn't explain anything. Oh well, nice bants I guess.
I've never even wrapped before except my windshields and side windows, but these guys aren't even using tools. Obviously you would cut the excessive paper to lighten your headache before even putting it on. They just slammed the whole piece of wrap on it, and also picks the smallest object as well... LOL!
It is easy if you apply yourself, watch videos, buy some vinyl and PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. also there are different types and grades of vinyl on the market, do your research and find out the difference between cast and calendered vinyls, buy a heat gun and an infrared thermometer along with some decent blades and fluids. we are not playing with stickers here guys.
The shop/Yiannmize owner needs not talk. You're already setting each candidate up for failure by distracting them. Talk when they have the job, not trying to audition. You want them to succeed, right? So why not let them focus. Guess common sense isn't so common.
Hey yiannimize hope you read this. I was going to apply for the wrap job but I'm at college studying mechanics in cars. I have wrapped allot of things at home and would like to start this as my career. I will be coming soon. Ps when's the next wrap job as I would love to come and show you me skill and talent. Thanks
I've been watching UA-cam videos, doing tons of research before I try my first wrap, even for me this was painful as hell to watch!😬 I'm sure if I had to wrap under pressure I'd definitely make some mistakes, so I have no room to say I'd do better, but I wouldn't have went on a show without gaining more hands on experience.
Obviously after watching this I'm pretty sure that so many people will realise how skillful Nico & Mark is to make all the wrap job look easy.
Busby Babes hours of practice
💯 and imagine on supercars the pressure
Busby Babes
ok
?
@@jhardworkpaysoff474 absolutely right
These guys have no clue. This is meant to be a wrap job so surely you should know how to wrap before you apply?
I jus wish yiannimize was up north

And the wrap still on my car been 2.5 years......
Open another branch

This should be a tv show in itself
Nah, don't think I'd watch if it was on TV, UA-cam is the new TV
It is a tv show
Damn rite
Love how yanny treats his staff with respect... any manager watching this...this is a manager,
Yianni can make an apprentice type show with this style, I'd watch it every week
Especially if celebrities are involved. Every week the winner gets to help the team wrap a celebrity's car. Instant hit.
Mad Respect to the guy with hearing problem's i love to see people who do have a disadvantage do something to prove other's wrong!
Becky smashed in comparison to alot of these gents. Props to all, its strenuous being under that pressure.
The guy that was hearing impaired seems to have a lot of drive. Takes some balls to push past all the people telling you, you can't do things and try to excel at them.
@7:50 "i didnt even train cuz i didn't want to mess up out there and make it worse in here"
what kind of logic is that? lol
Absolute idiot 🤣🤣
My man hested it and crumpled it into a ball straight away 😂😂
Sam E who?
Your man...
First guy was awful beyond awful
Jamie B u try it and post a video
faZe kay Awww how cute! You have a crush on Faze Kay. 😂
I felt bad for the first person lol

Definitely Becky easy million extra subscribers lmao 😂 good luck everyone 👍
I’ve just realised how hard wrapping is 😱😱😱😱😱 after watching these guys. Yanni boyz make it look so easy. Fair play to ya guys.

This is awesome...wish you started these a long time ago
We dont need another fake and scripted "reality" show. Sorry to spoil it for you but theres already a winner and full cast even before this first show was filmed.
Production on this is unreal. Well done team!
RUSTY PHAT FOR THE WIN!!!
Igor Sikorski is he in it?
Igor Sikorski defo
Yeh he is in the one tomorrow
They should've named this series 'The Wrap Battle'
I can watch this all day...
I'm in the sign industry and we also do some wrapping and I was nervous watching this! haha.
Absolutely love this car show, the precision work in wrapping a car is truly amazing, please make more shows !!!!!

My best and favourite UA-cam video .. This really should be a show. The choices and decisions were very fair. Great video yet again
This is such a sick idea Yianni! I wish I needed I job. This is a dream for so many people! Quality video 👌👌

Should have got Dave TV to back you on this, this idea is brilliant.
When is part 2. Can't wait
Just seen Saturday 17th
I cant wait to see the result !
That was intense!! Congrats to those who made it through the first round 👌🎉
Nico and mark are honestly the best wrappers in the world 🌍 make it look so easy
When is the next set of auditions so I can watch.
Don’t think it’s fair to have the first task to be a wrap task when you said that beginners can apply, obviously beginners won’t know how to wrap. Doesn’t make sense, why bring them in the competition in the first place.

Wonderful job. It's interesting competition
Great idea for a program......well done whoever thought of it.

Just realised that ayman is on here lol
14:29 I felt sorry for this guy man he was fully shaking but practice does make perfect so keep it up if your reading this.
No problem man
Wow the tense tense first wrap
As a composite laminator I’d love to try this
I cant wait for one the video and two the results
I wish this chance was offered in the US but love the concept keep it up!
I'm having a job interview tomorrow (for car wrapping, obviously), wonder if it'll be like this too xD
Greetings from germany, wish me luck

I can see a new Dave series coming... game show wrapping cars, I'll take 35% for the idea 😉
I wish I was there I would love a mechanic job in London
Fab stuff massive respect it's an Art 🤩😍
i cant do this but i will start by cutting the vinyl first its to big gives u better room to work with
I've never even wrapped before except my windshields and side windows, but these guys aren't even using tools. This looks like one of those career opportunities that I missed out on but know I would've given it my all if given the chance..
This needs to be on tv

Omfg Love Ur Vids Bro!!! Keep Up The Great Work 👍
I'm shocked none of them precut the piece to a more reasonable size. You can see all of them struggle with how big the sheet is on a small piece
This is cool!
What's the name of this TV show! LOL 20 mins went pass so fast!!
Isn't Becky Conors (GSUS R) girlfriend? I think she helped him wrap his R32 Golf before.
Wish I did this now.

I feel like it would be easier with the parts still on the car cause you can stretch it
Wrapping stuff is awesome I am really good at it and wanna do it for my first job and I could do better on most of the stuff they did
When are the 2nd group on UA-cam
If only I knew about this sooner 😩😩
Good luck rusty mate 👍👍👍

I should have auditioned for this would have smashed it
Why I give a impression that I can do it because when I watch your videos I watch it attentively but there is one thing the stress
this is amazing!!!
all of them did good
Good idea. It’s getting a bit too commercial though.
Just wait until the professor’s audition is shown.. Adam should win it for me
Go on rusty phat Tim and Scott
So what's in the fridge?
Like if you get it?
I love your videos
✋🏽 before the 🔪 after the 🔪🤟🏽.
Wagwan for the first guy🤕😂
You guys got any more of these going on if so can I apply?
people go hard and if this was a tv show i would watch the series but nico and mark and other staff find this hard so in real life it lookes easy
How can they focus in five minutes if they keep asking them questions
I love your videos man you're fab
As a wrapper. Watching this is so difficult. It really isn't that hard!
God, I could out wrap any of these guys with a blind fold?
