Ever wondered what you can do with a Longmill CNC? In this video, I'm taking you on a journey! We'll start by unboxing my Longmill CNC that I got 2.5 years ago, then walk through the setup process. But that's not all! I'm also sharing some of the awesome projects I've created with this machine over the years. I hope this video will help you see how easy it is to setup the Longmill CNC.
    Thanks for watching

I agree 100% - it looks like we built and starting using our MK1 around February 2022?
I likely work mine a bit harder (many hours making catch-all trays, sometimes in material like purpleheart and bloodwood - HARD!) - but I've only had to tweak the wheels once and only a few days did I adjust the anti-backlash nuts for the first time. Oh - I had to replace my router this year.
I'm thinking I will want a second machine next year and I am debating whether I want the 2.5 or the AltMill. I'm not sure I need a 48x48 machine (only twice have I been limited by my 30x30 work area in 30+ months) but... bigger is always better, eh?! 😆

That's great to hear you've had such a positive experience with your Longmill MK1! I've been really impressed with its build quality and performance. I'm glad you've been able to put it to good use with those challenging materials.
I'm also considering expanding my setup next year and am torn between the 2.5 and AltMill. I've heard good things about both. Have you done any research on the pros and cons of each? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
I need all the details I can get to pass the spouse's approval. :)
