Neat antique combine in the background.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all on the farm from here in Kent, England. Very enjoyable channel. Thanks.
Love watching a ripper do it's job. Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas Ron to you and your family.
Merry Christmas Ron and have a happy New year
just want to thank you for your video work ,,i not been well since july and watching your vids has kept me going ,,many thanks and happy Christmas from puxton sw england
Ron you have a great opportunity to make the Steiger a pirate 🏴☠️ put an eye patch over that piece over that hole 🕳 😆
That tractor is high tech! I worked a construction job once where they had two HD41's (a little larger than a D9) ripping sandstone. They had to change the tip on the shanks twice a day they'd wear out so fast. Had to wear thick gloves to change them because the metal was so hot.
Merry Christmas to you and your family Ron l have really enjoyed your videos
Merry Christmas Ron. How close to Camanche is that field off of 30?
Classic orange/red color combine behind trees. Appears to be good shape considering.
Hello great video. Love watching your videos. Are yall ever going to get into pigs. Do you ever do any sitting deer hunts. Tell your grandma she is a great lady. For keeping everyone feed. Tell her merry Christmas and happy new year. To yall merry Christmas and happy new year.
Merry Christmas Ron and family!
Merry guys, woke up early so time to catch up
Use a ripper-roller, they have rollers (Drum rollers) behind the shanks to flatten it back out.
Merry xmas to everybody from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Merry Christmas and happy new year from northern Minnesota
Really enjoy your videos.
It's fun to watch that ripper at work very satisfying glad the tractor is up for the job
Merry Christmas from n.c.grain farmer.........🌞🌞🍧🍧
Very enjoyable to watch. You have a good life.
The case quadtrac 620 is over 500,000 dollars. Maybe for $50 down and $50 per month!
Merry Christmas
Man - didn't want to show off that Massey combine. 😁
Merry Christmas to you all,
Merry Christmas to y'all
Beeped but didn’t offer help😂 well said.
Merry Christmas!
Do you not have to run safety chains when towing with pickup ?
Merry Christmas Ron. Question…..does it make a difference in which direction or angle you rip a field? What are the benefits to going crossways?
It depending on the terrain/location of the field. We ripped a field but ripped it at an angle towards the river so the water would flow towards the river and not stay in the field so much.
Kinda would like to see a police office pull a trailer with proper trailer lights and safety chains
What about buying a case ih 535 steiger with the Cummins
I cant recall where its at the equipment settings control it, implement I think cant recall maybe ehr type. Cant recall which I use when running our 3 point ripper and row crop cultivator
Nothing like the smell of fresh turned dirt
In Ontario in some fields, that ripper would turn up too many stones which would need to be picked. I don't see that happening much were you are working.
For Tillage
It’s looks like it’s missing a tooth Ron the hood on the Steiger
That’s why it’s easier to open than a Deere, piece of it’s missing ;)
I believe he should have done a 2nd ripper pass on the diagonal for maximum depth and hardpan disruption especially the never ripped ground. He would get even higher yields IMHO...
A hunting you will go, a hunting you will go........ the farm provides in many ways. How about pheasants?
didn't think you wanted three point deep till on 4 wheel drive like that; thought dolly was preferred?
6 shanks 🤣🤣🤣 looks like you have a wide middle too by the way. 👍🏼 sounds also like you don’t have the draft set like it should be. It tickles me seeing you northern boys who usually don’t use three point struggle with it. It’s easy and simple. The only think we use tongue pull is field cultivator.
We run both but I prefer pull type implements. They just seem easier to hook up and a like to look back instead of down when in the big tractor
I like using my 1972 John Deere 4320 pulling a 7 shank 3 point V ripper on 20” centers at 17” deep. Our land has a lot of clay subsoil so I usually run in fourth gear at nearly 5 mph, and use about 7 gpa of fuel. I do run duals to get enough traction to accomplish about the same tillage effects.
Evadently the bean cart wasn't designed for road use , no safety chain and lighting harness.
First
You didnt kno that you can save fuel by throttling back and up shift.
Show me u r going15 in in the ground
Looks like it’s missing a tooth.
For what I normally see of your Fields, that Field is really flat.
Want to test a tractor.... pull an inline ripper.... DUN and done...
