Nice Video! Apologies for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you tried - Saankramer Life Card System (google it)? It is a good one off product for learning how to stop drinking minus the headache. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my work buddy got astronomical results with it.

Lost so many friends. Moody and snappy and my character was not a nice person to know. Suddenly something happened and I found sobriety. My life changed and it’s so much better. It’s not about how long I’ve gone without a drink. It’s about finding your real self and catching up on the time you’ve lost for me. One day at at a time. Stay safe everyone.

Day 1. Started watching your videos yesterday. I've tried many times over the past couple years to quit but find every excuse not too.
I'm 39 and have consumed alcohol most of my adult life. I'd say it was never really a problem till a couple years ago. I use my job as an excuse. Come home from work have a few drinks to unwind and then pretty much spend the weekend drinking and being unproductive. Most parts of my life are pretty good. Have a wonderful wife and son on the way. I go to the gym regularly, but I feel alcohol is the one thing holding me back from being in great shape and just all around more productive.

Thank you so much for this ! It's so well explained. I decided 2 monts ago that I never wanted to be drunk again. That if I was going to drink, it would be only one or two drinks. Usually, I didn't have limits. I would most of the time feel really bad about myself the next morning, and I regret a lot of tings that I did when I was drunk. Since the past two months, I drank only one drink 3 times, and I really didn't miss alcohol that much. The less you drink, the less you want to go back to it. I will probably stop drinking completely eventually. During the last 2 months I realised that my health was better, my relationships were better, and mostly I was able to learn how to love myself. The #9 is so true. I'm not saying that drinking is bad for everyone, we are all reacting differently to it. Realising that it was bad for myself, was the best wake up call I've ever had. Thank you again for this video !

To be honest, number 5 is one of the worst problems for me lol.... I really get myself in massive trouble sending out stupid messages via facebook or other media to people my sober me doesn't even want to have contact with or, which is worse, to people like a co-worker... whom I actually didnt want to add to my facebook but just did so in drunken stupor... and other stuff like that... sometimes I wake up in the mornings and spend like 30 minutes just burying my head in the pillow out of embarrassment... so No 5 truly is one of the BIG REASONS!!! ^^ No 5 is the reason why I havent been able to cut ties with people for years... I actually didnt want to have contact with them, in some cases even managed to distance myself and then.... well you know the story...there were cases when I had 3 hours of text messages in my account later... and I didnt even know what I wrote...

Big fan of your newer stuff
NO idea why this older one popped up
But when it came to your part about drunk texting and calling
It made me laugh a bit and remember a time LONG LONG ago i was a manager at a call center some time after i got out of the military and going to college
We were playing a online game night on the weekend, and one of the people on our clan was my manager's boss, so the boss -> boss -> boss of my boss
And i got TANKED that night, i was crushing it too, a bit to much to the point i started to threaten the boss, insulting the shit out of him using a lot of volgar stuff that is "Offensive" in 2023
Oh man, i do NOT remember any of this and came to work
I was called into the office before i could even log in
and well, him being a smarter guy than me RECORDED the 45 some minutes of me going off
Talk about shame......But i think of it now after some time sober after 30 years or so and just laugh at how retar....sorry stupid i was back then when i got drunk
