Middle buster is great for lining rows in a large garden. You want to set the top link so the spine of the M B is straight up and down at its lowest point on the drop before breaking ground, thars where I set mine anyway.
I paid $200 for mine.. I plow my 1.5 acre field with it before tilling. Strap a few cinder blocks to it and go to down. Not what it’s intended to do.. but for $200, can’t beat it. Have a few bolts on hand, the plate with come off every once in awhile when really digging the soil deep.
For the amount of property you have there, invest in a box blade. Well worth the money. I used mine to trench out a driveway to ad 6 inches of gravel. Works great as a counterweight for the loader. Your tractor will thank you. A sub soiler would even work better than the potato plow you are using. But whatever works to get the job done works. 👍
New to your channel but I have soil about like that around my place with some rocks in it. My tractor looks to be about the same size. My loader was worthless as far as the factory bucket was concerned for doing anything in the dirt. The solution is to buy a dirt bucket with teeth. Suddenly with a tooth bucket it likes to eat dirt.
I’ve been looking for a tooth bucket, always wanted to do a side by side comparison. I have a box blade and a backhoe ive been digging with now too. Thanks for watching.
I would agree get the box blade. Have had it for years and does great even in gravel. It weighs over 350# I have a 53" from a smaller Kubota but is small for this one should get a 60"
Roll-over protection only works if you extend the bar correctly , and wear the seatbelt Kubota thoughtfully provided ! And don't claim it won't roll on flat ground , Murphy's law applies everywhere .
thanks for thinking about me, 5 years later and I've learned a lot with this tractor and Murphy didn't get me yet in that way but i can say that I've hit my head on the rop's bar more then I'd like to admit, along with taking out the upper support on the horses run in shed and also the car port i store the tractor in so maybe Murphy got even in a safer way, this is a machine that needs respected, used with caution and not rushed some thing bad can happen in the blink of an eye.
Taboo P thanks for checking it out I just got this quick to try out but I did get a box blade and it was well worth it check it out in some of my other videos
Hi , we are getting our B2650 soon and we like your tractor vids. We like that implement. looks like it won't break the bank either. $169? is that correct ? New subscriber here.
hello congrats on the new b2650 and thanks for watching, at the time that was the price can check tractor supply or a similar store near you its a good first 3pt attachment but that's just the beginning next it's a box blade then post hole digger or brush hog mower lol. I also have maintenance how to videos on the b2650 too.. if you have any questions feel free to ask
Louis Krock I got the scraper to use for snow also there’s a small garden spot I’m planning to use the middle buster on before I till it I do think I’ll end up with one soon when I put the stone drive way in
in the last 3-4 years almost every thing has gone up in price by a third and the value of a dollar has dropped also but this was a good first 3pt implement to try out
ma se non sapete che ad un ripper non si mette la vanghetta state a casa ed i video non si fanno dall'alto per un attrezzo che deve andare in profondità

Michael Labus I’m looking at getting the one they have at tractor supply really soon.
U CAN USE BOX BLADE SCARIFIRE JUST ANGLE THEN DROP ONE SCARIFIRE DOWN TOO
move the lift arm pins closer to the tractor and you will get more movement up and down from the 3 point. that definitely doesn't go down far enough.

I think the nut on the top link needs to be tightened once the correct pitch is set.
broadwayFan28 yes that is correct.
I'm new to your channel but if you have a box blade with rippers it should work nicely for redefining your pad.
Taboo P thanks for checking it out I just got this quick to try out but I did get a box blade and it was well worth it check it out in some of my other videos
You need to drop it all the way so it can bury itself and do its job
ditto
ANGLE MIDDLE BUSTER BACK TO YOUR CHOICE
Readjust, 6-8” deeper.

@@Mattsneedforspeed Thanks looking forward to checking those video out!
Your top link is too long for the blade you had on at first.
I dig the videos! this is the tractor I'm getting. Wouldn't a box blade have taken that right down?
yea I would think but this was a lot cheaper and some thing fun to try .. thanks for watching..
Jeremy Brue. ua-cam.com/video/dvvuGAdoqgc/v-deo.html
Between the price of the scraper blade and middle buster, that's the price of a boxblade.
always fun to learn your way around a new tool. enjoyed the video. don't know how I missed seeing this one. better late than never I guess. lol
good cheap implement to try out..
Also, use a subsoiler first
Modify to get greater depth ,and get wider middlebuster
Dean Murray hello thanks for watching I ended up getting a box blade and haven’t used it again
Good video thanks for share
Put your top link in the bottom hole on the tractor. You'll get a deeper cut.
Deacon thanks I’ll give it a try...
Your welcome, watch Dave Knows how. He knows his stuff about tractors, and implements.
Yeah sell the middle buster and the scraper blade a buy a box blade. Good luck!
Louis Krock I got the scraper to use for snow also there’s a small garden spot I’m planning to use the middle buster on before I till it I do think I’ll end up with one soon when I put the stone drive way in
I wasn't paying attention to the date. Saw someone posted a month ago. I'm late to the party as usual... Cheers
5 years ago, it's like $ 269 2023/24
