    6:35 Bloodgood is actually named after the nursery which introduced it, Bloodgood Nursery in NY.

      Good idea! I will next time. Most of these are 7-10 but some like the camellias will go all the way to 5.

    Purple-leaf and chartreuse foliage plants would NEVER be in an authentic Japanese Garden. All the weird plants that are in Americanized versions of "Japanese Gardens" is amazing and disturbing. Seasonal flowering is paramount (their flower denote a very specific time of the year).
