I tried smoke bombs and bait with no success, but wound up getting a GopherHawk which worked well. I got three gophers in two weeks and haven't seen one since. In the meantime, I set up a secure 20x20 foot garden area with gopher mesh and blocks around the perimeter and plan on using the gopher mesh in a greenhouse and another 400 square foot secure garden area. (BTW, the bait worked well with moles, but the gophers didn't fall for that trick.)

Never had prickly preserves...being a lifelong southern boy, I've et my weight in fig preserves and the like...I'd love to try prickly pear preserves...I'm sure amazon can assist me. Lol
