    After following the Daniel Penny trial, it’s obvious that you’re not allowed to help people anymore. This is not the society I grew up in. Look at some of the videos. Some people actually FILM assaults instead of assisting. Not the best choice, IMHO. For the entire playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLqxjjlprwMDYluH6k9NTR9XJ9zKySdS_G.html&si=qIx8T47gmfe77fup

      Truth. But a way that MIGHT help you see this in a different light is this.
      I look at these betrayals, pains, trials, etc. as a way of being GIFTED BY GOD because we’re being given a GLIMPSE of the betrayal, pain and hardship our Lord Jesus Christ chose to endure fir us. It draws us closer to Him, experiencing just a fraction of what He did.
      THAT gives me solace and understanding to endure. I pray this helps you. 🙏🏼

Even, then, all those years ago I did not trust or like other people. I have been on my own for 35 years and I don't think it will change. I envy you living on a farm with dogs and chickens. I would also love to be able to rescue animals, of all kinds. You are not alone in your feelings about our World. Cascadia now for over 10 years and have encountered all the critters you could imagine including Black Bear, Cougar, and even Timber Wolves. I've had nothing but positive encounters and love seeing/observing their primal innocence! I truly trust and understand them more than any random human I come across in "civilization". I'm a 67 year old woman alone living in a new town and everyone I try to meet and make friendships with see me as "What can I get from her?" They boldly start asking me for money or help, and I start helping. I was in a crisis, my landlord had told me I needed to move, I had no where to go and no one to help me move. A new Christian friend immediately began putting more and more tasks and events on my plate until I finally had to say no, I am in a crisis, i need to find a place to move. And there was no one helps me when I needed help. Moving at my age is becoming very painful. One example, but it is constant and with everyone. Even long time friends view friendships as "What can that person do for me?" It is a very different culture now. Customer service is non-existent, youths are rude servers, clerks are unhappy and unpleasant. People are such a painful burden for me, that I prefer to spend my time alone with my dogs. My only child is dead, and all her children live out of state or out of town and I never hear from any of them unless they call to ask for money. Families, people, the public are not like they used to be.

    I spent a large portion of my life trying hard to "be nice" and to please everyone and be the helper/driver/fixer/listener etc. etc....even to people who didn't reciprocate and who were, at times, unkind and manipulative. It took a serious injury (from which I recovered) to wake me up and realize the importance of the following: prioritize my health/wellbeing and caring for my family; have some compassion for myself; begin to to establish healthy boundaries and learn it is okay to say, "no." I am still working on this but improving. Thank you for your excellent channel and thoughtful videos.

    Oh sir you are so not alone. First, I want to say thank you for this video. Thank you. I'm a 69 year old woman, a real woman, and I've felt the same way for about 20 years now. I like people, at a distance, not up so close I have to hear, feel and absorb their drama. My husband is more like your wife in the trusting department, but in the last few years he has been becoming more aware of so much deception. Our children use to get on me about not going anywhere very often and have lightened up on that because they seem to get it. We have a close circle of friends as you do and we have a best dog in the world. Lol. He's 15 and our cat was 15. We had to have her put down this last summer. We've had both our pets since they were 3 months and 6 months old. They grew up together and were best friends. Our dog is still grieving and his vet said he may be grieving for a long time. No you are not the only one that feels this way. We know several people that are the same. Yes it seems our wisdom is over looked today more than ever and that's sad to think for up coming generations. Our little dog weighs 25 lbs and would fight off an army to save us also. God bless you and yours and let's keep our eyes looking up.

      As I am replying to this, my little Terrier is sitting on my lap, and my Anatolian Shepherd is on the couch across from me. They bring me a lot of comfort. And need very little in return. I’ve found that just taking care of that small circle of friends makes those relationships much stronger. The old accessory relationships were a drain, and would have never been really good, no matter how much I put into them.

You can pretty much feel a thick, very unpalatable layer of hate permeating the air every time you leave your household if you live near a city. We lead by example . We should always do the right thing even if it means standing alone . Perhaps it’s time to build a network of people who truly care about others . There are still good people around I think it’s just difficult to see because everything in the media is always so focused on the negative issues .

    • @SilverSurvival

    • @Jodyne
      @Jodyne Місяць тому

      @ thats part of the problem though . You have your “people” and that’s great but what about others who are feeling the same way and don’t have their “tribe” ? It shouldn’t stop us from helping others when we see a need to help , encourage or lift others up . There’s a lot of videos of people saying why they avoid others but I feel not many encouraging people to help others and the positives of doing so . Everyone avoids everyone then we have just furthered this problem in our society of isolation from each other . 🤔

      @SilverSurvival One would be mabey about your farm or your animals.One could be how you feel about getting to the senior citizen age.Or things you've learned over the years about how you do certain things,example does your household have tips on how to save or ideas on how to just get though the weekend,what shows you and your family like.Simply put...everyday life,things you do or don't like.Most people are on UA-cam to be monetized.So they really just need the likes and subscribes right?Give people a reason to WANT to come back,make them believe it's about THEM and not just the monetization.Catching my drift?🇨🇦🙋‍♀️🏋️🙂

I would kill to live where you live. Walking and talking without a care in the world, observing nature and wonderful animals. You are a lovely man. I am an animal lover like you. I love how you let those chickens live out their full lives. Beautiful. But I do believe that you should drop to your knees, in that glorious nature trail your walking on, and thank God, almighty, that you are there, and not here. May God keep blessing you and yours.

    We are not where we think we are. We don't know when we are, we don't where we are, we don't who these people are and we don't know who we are. We have been unwittingly moved and the hallucination is crumbling. Animals are our comfort here, where ever this is. I just finished listening to a vlogger that found a 2 or 3 year old lost at night in the middle of the road. Before she reached the little one two cars slowly severed around the little one as she held out both arms for help. Without going on about the rest of the story the little one is safe with totally freaked out parents.

      A timely word. So, knowing this, don't let your love wax cold. Guard your hearts. Be transformed by the renewing of your minds, and realize that loving others is not weakness, but reckon the love is the most powerful force in the Universe. Change the way you think: Romans 12:17-21 KJV - R 15:33 "Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good."
      I tested this in some pretty dark and dangerous places, I have, and still am, working on the front lines, and I can surely report to you that it works- try it ✌️ ❤

I walk into the break room at work, or Dr’s office, etc. and almost everyone is glued to their cell phones. Rarely does anyone make eye contact. Sometimes I think technology is the work of the devil. I know a few special people, mostly in the 60+ age bracket, that still know how to be friendly and have a conversation. My husband & I keep mostly to ourselves. We just lost our little dog from illness. First time in 39 years without a pet - it’s awful! Hopefully we will be able to adopt one or two that need homes.
