Aventurine green is a very nice color and in my opinion the combination with the Bordeaux red interior is spectacular and different from the boring combinations of gray car with black interior that we see every day.
Well done video. Great point of view in the cabin. This color combo is so unique that I’m sure I’ll never see one in the wild. Stunning. While I’m not a big fan of all red interiors, this interior was a success with the bi-color. Thanks for the video.
Dude, This was the exact spec I built on Porsches website using the configurator. I did speak with my local dealership about it. It would be at least a 12mo lead time to build it.
Always resisted test driving the higher end cars, but now might be the time to take the GTS for a test ride. I'm on my second Boxster, a 2016 981 PDK (like it but miss going through the gears). There is no way I can buy a new GTS as after a break from work (Auxiliar de Conversacion Program in Spain) I'm not going back to work. Now only question is whether to sell it (only 24k miles) as I really won't need a car living in a city in Spain. Had I been working, probably couldn't resist buying one.
I think only Bordeaux red is available like that but you have a text over saying guards red . I think only the Chrono is guards red in this car, right? Thanks for this vid Marc. Not only does this have me a convert to AG, but I'm now leaning towards switching my Nat leather espresso cognac to this black Bordeaux. It is a great contrast and pop to the av green
Yes the chrono is in guards red. In my personal opinion the two reds clash. I am nitpicking though. The espresso cognac would like extremely well with the aventurine green!
Hey Marc, I have a question about GT4 allocations if you have the answer. Based on forums I read, it was said that Porsche is selective for their customer GT4 allocations, almost as if customers need to qualify to a spot. I spoke with my salesperson and he took my deposit, had me send him my Porsche Code later in the week, and said he will let me know when they receive their allocations. Does this mean I qualified, or should I continue to look for a plan B car if I didn't?
Hey Rian, thank you for reaching out. Porsche is not selective about their customers. Dealerships are! Don’t know and I don’t need to know where you have ordered. I can speak for most dealerships by saying that the demand for our vehicles is tremendously high at this moment in time and Production is not keeping up with demand. Be patient would be my best suggestion and work with a dealership where you will service as well.
@@porscheswithmarc Thank you for the info, Marc! I'm a bit relieved to know that it'll be up to the dealership to determine the allocation. It's a waiting game then. Hoping for the best for things to return close to normal as possible again. Take care and stay safe.
Marc, thanks for the nice, informative video. Can you tell me the color of the leather on the dash & steering wheel? Looks black but could be Agate Grey?? Beautiful car.
Bob, Porsche offers the Bordeaux Red seats only with the Black Dash and Steering wheel. Confident you would be able to get it Agate Grey through CCX but that is something this customer did not choose to do.
Hi Marc, I heard that allocations/deliveries for these cars in North America are hard to get due to chip shortages. Is it still the case? Is your own order affected by all of this? Great car & thank you for the review! Cheers!
This is still the case, I highly recommend working with your local dealership and leave a deposit for a build slot. Porsche is still building cars be it at a slower rate. If you don’t want to miss out on the last N/A Boxster I would make the decision soon and simply be patient. I hope this helps.
As far as I know porsche is keeping the production lines going by either not equipping vehicles with some options only to be retrofitted later. What gets left out might be different from market to market
@@porscheswithmarc Wow, that’s a crazy wait… I hope all of this mess ends and you’ll have your delivery date soon. I’m sure the wait is worth it. Thank you for the information and recommendation. Cheers!
I live in Spain and I have ordered a 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 in aventurine green color with red top, full Bordeaux red interior and satin platinum wheels and I have to tell you that your video has been the cause of my choice of color combination. I'm a little worried about how that combination will turn out since it has a lot more red in it than the one in the video, but I hope it doesn't turn out bad and I would like to know your opinion. Thank you very much again for that great video
Thank you for your comment and compliment. It is one of two things I would have different on this car. 1) the top in matching bordeaux red. 2)Keep the dials in black. The guards red dials clash with the bordeaux red interior
@@porscheswithmarc Hello! Finally I have changed the color of the GTS 4.0 that I have ordered and I have decided on the crayon, which seems to me a very nice and elegant color, keeping the entire interior in Bordeaux red. Aventurine green is a very classic and elegant color too, but I think the crayon combination with Bordeaux red will look great. By the way, congratulations on the configuration of your GTS 4.0 also in crayon with black leather interior and orange seams, it will certainly be great! @@porscheswithmarc Marc can i talk with my dealer to change the top of my upcoming 718 boxter from red to bordeux red to match my interior? Or there is only the red top color because thats the only option i can see in the configurator
@@porscheswithmarc oh sorry I thought you worked at the dealership. I have a 718 gts 4.0 cayman im chalk. Those black rims are matte and glossing up the tires is going to spill onto the rims and paint. I do wish these cars came with ps4s because the matte look of that tire would match the wheels so much better (not to mention a superior tire to the Pzeros).
This is a beautifully spec’d car - great taste
I will pass on the compliments to the owner
Yeah unusual colour combo
Some very bold & unique configuration choices, well done.

I agree that all red is too much, with the dash in black it definitely helps as there is some color but not too much that it get’s distracting.
This colour is so nice.
Underrated. Wish more customers would order.
Great review. I’m number 2 on the list for a Carmine Red 2024.
Congratulations on the new channel! Looks like your doing well!

I hope so too. Not only for people to get their cars but my livelihood as well. That being said this will most likely run well into 2024
I think perhaps a medium gray interior might have been nice with that green.
There are a lot of colors in the color palette that work surprisingly well with the Aventurine Green

Nice to see a Porsche dealer not charging 10-20-30%+ over MSRP for one of these!

Porsche is being faced with some supply issues but I am sure you can work through that with your local dealership

I apologize for the confusion
No such thing as a cheap porsche, everything is extra, actually surprised you get seats included...
