Hey Juan.. Nice set of videos there. Couldn't have come at a better time. Basically I'm a chef and in the kitchen at work we have had a tm31 I think, an older thermomix for about 6 years now and this machine gets used for so many jobs a day, not a day goes by it doesn't get used 20 or 30 times. The thing is I have really wanted to buy one myself but like you I can't warrant the price tag. So I googled alternatives, found the jml one like you but no reviews so thank goodness you made your videos its great to get a proper look. So at work we don't actually cook with our thermo as such, we blitz spices, make purees with it, steam Raviolis and Chinese dumplings. We never use any of the attachments for it except the basket. We do all our cooking on the hobs and then use it to blitz up veg at 70 degrees and add cream to make the purees or soups super smooth and silky while feeding cream in the hole in the lid as it blends. We make pastes, pestos etc but never make meals from scratch and even so, it gets used so much. My question being if you are able to answer it is...can you use this manually and not need to enter a programme number. For example on the thermo we just throw the ingredients we want to blend into the machine, slide the lid shut and spin the wheel. We press a temperature button to what we want and press a plus or a minus for the timer, it's so quick and simple and it's full control. I'm just wondering if it's possible to do the same with this machine? Many thanks
Hi Matt, thanks for your comment. I was the same as you, looking for one of these machines but not wanting to spend a lot of money. I can definitely recommend it. Will post pictures of the Manual Mode for you to see....
Hi again, can't post pictures here. Looking at the Instructionsl, on Page 52, it explain how to use in Manual mode, the 3 bottom left icons, Timer, Temperature and Speed, you can then use any three of the combinations. So by turning it on, it gives you those 3 parameters for you to adjust and off you go. Solid machine for the price, I won't give it a second thought....
