Reach out to me at poormansdiy@hotmail.com. We could use more practice on a project before we jump into actually selling things. :-)

That layering works really well. Have you seen Ainslee at Small Fry DIY recent video on this? Awesome ideas for custom pieces.

Didnt find a Small Fry DIY. Found a Small Fry Creations but I did not find the creator's name. The channel I found had only two videos on laser "custom pieces". Let me know the channel name and I will check it out.

Hi Both, Another great video with excellent explanations.
I have bought the LaserPecker 2 and can't wait for it to be delivered so I can start using it.
I may do an unboxing and First Use video, not sure yet as there are few video about the LaserPecker 2 already.
    Take care both.
    Cheers, Huw

That turned out looking awesome. Quick question, how does the planer sitting so low work out? I mill a lot of lumber in my shop and I don't know if take that much bending over. On most projects I will mill over 100 board feet.

Thank you for the compliment. We truly appreciate it. I placed the planer where it is for two reasons. 1 - I have limited space in my garage because we both park our cars in the garage every night. 2 - I am two old to lift the planer to a higher location when using it. That things is a beast! LOL. I do not plane a lot of wood but it can get sore on the back. I have found it easier to kneel down and plane away on lots of small pieces but never on long boards. It might not be a good idea on your back if you are milling 100 board feet.

We ended up using 1/4" mahogany plywood, which we bought at a local hardware store. We planned to use birch but it was far too expensive right now. It turned out, the mahogany looks much better anyway. We wish to thank you for taking the time to watch our video and for your kind words.

Great video. Question about the files you used. how were you able to separate the different layers from the original. I am working on a project similar to this and can’t seem to figure out how to transfer the original design from the image to a file with layers that can be cut out to create this 3D look.

Great question. It was a pain. I broke down the original image and made multiple images. ie one for the cutting the circle, one for letters, etc.
