while still waiting to receive my M1, I am investing my wait time in learning from Michael's videos. these videos are precise, to the point, long enough to get to the point but not to get you bored. and Michael, I tell you, I am learning a lot, and what I like most is that you go to extremes and (in some other videos) you do some things that I wouldn't even think of doing :)
I'm so glad I watched this video, I am struggling lining up my graphics on a keyring, it's printing on the side now I know how to frame I shouldn't have a problem 🤞
Great info Mike. We have the honeycomb and riser base and are trying to engrave in a recessed ring box. The laser hits the side of the box. Not sure what we need to do
Hi Michael, Love your videos, thanks for creating them! New to laser cutting. I just got Rubber Wood 3/4" cutting boards that I would like to engrave them for the holidays. can you recomend setting or what I should start the testing at? I don't have a scrap that I can do a lot of testing. Also can I rase the bored with books underneath when I'm engraving. I have the honeycomb but I still need to rase it. thanks for all of your help.
Hello, I appreciate your really great videos. My M1 is now marking my tumblers with the framing option. The power is set at 1 and the speed is 100 on framing settings. I did the first tumbler and the framing worked fine no marks left second tumbler exact settings left a square mark around the framing area. Very noticeable actually the tumbler can't be used for the design now. Very odd but was wondering if you had any ideas about what it could be? I tried this several times by restarting and checking settings I cannot find the issue. thank you for your time. I can provide pics if needed
Mine did this too, I have seen other videos where they say to not auto measure and leave thickness at 0 for framing otherwise it will etch but have not tried it yet
Hi thank you for your videos.I’m currently waiting for my M1 to be delivered. But I have been viewing your tutorials while waiting. My question is how do you know how much power and speed to use? Dose the software comes with a preset or do you just by trial and error?
