He made the greatest decision of this match, he saved someone's life without hesitating, wich soon resulted on the same person saving his life. Wood and Thanos are the proof that we dont need to act like animals or try to take advantage of others, the ones that choose this path all were killed later, while the one person that choose to be good for others had a nice life, a nice friendship and survived. This video was better than many movies Ive watched, I will never forget their story 🤣

At first I didn't get why there was an enderpearl escaping the tower, I was just on the edge of my seat that I couldn't process. But... wow. Sure, Thanos and Wooddaddy may have been the most wholesome players, but Tyrannical made a sacrifice not even Legacy and his parrot could beat. (I ain't comparing them. I just loved Tyrannical's sacrifice for his friend)
Perfect ending tbh, Thanos_Chicken's sacrifice was so poetic considering he wouldn't be alive if not for WoodDaddy's generosity by saving him from starvation. 10/10

The saga of WoodDaddy and Thanos Chicken was heart-wrenching. Depending on how the societies were turning out, I probably would have done the same thing as Wood and left to fend for myself, but I'm really happy to see that someone else joined him and they had cats!

Watching this after the 1000-person 4 islands video, now I’m starting to see the evolution of Elanuelo. He was killed while trying to find a good way to escape without too many casualties and bring some form of peace. Maybe that was why he was so afraid of getting killed in the 1000-players 4 islands video. I’m way too invested in this lore.

Solev and legacy being reoccurring characters is so much fun. Solev has an intense urge for power while legacy just plays how people need him to play. He would be a great leader, but chooses to stay a citizen. Legend
Solev is interesting. He took control again but changed tactics of leadership. He lead passively but incentivized freedom with his people. Colors left and tried to steer the jungle with a firm hand and effectively became “solev” of old with his people. This similarity presents itself in the first disaster very well. Colors has to deal with a merchant profiting off of the lives of people for diamonds which eventually leads to more strife in the jungle. solev’s nation survives this disaster bc the farmer trusted him with his cow, and this trust allowed solev to save his nation. During the aftermath of the first disaster, solev goes by himself to the jungle lands in order to assess and check on all the inhabitants of colors land. After the aftermath of the first disaster and everything settled, the scandal divided the jungle nation and thus lead to colors being killed while talking to solev in his sanctuary. Once the bombing and the deaths occurred from the jungle rebels, this event really shocks solev. I don’t think solev resigned out of fear; I think he resigned in order to avoid a war from killing more of his people. Solev had a chance to become his old self and put lives in danger but choose to put faith in the people he helped shelter. Solev never leaves the sanctuary and is seen helping his people until the last disaster. The Last Disaster was amazing and really challenged everyone. Some died with loved ones, some killed and escaped. Solev and legacy are seen entering the tower together.
I genuinely love Solev's character in this series. In each iteration of this experiment Solev learns from previous mistakes in his attempt to become a leader people can gracefully accept and each time he's more successful than the last. By resigning and holding an election for his replacement he prevented the chain of "revenge" events that typically follow major events like that. Hope he's in the next one, really curious to see where his thought process goes from here. Imo his society did work, and I think it's why the next person they picked shared a lot of the same beliefs.

I love how in every video there are always some constants, like Legacy always having a parrot, Solev always becoming a leader and PinkWings being obsessed with flowers.
I dislike that. Some people may not be made for it, but randomizing it a bit would make it feel more real. Those who dont want a job oftentimes are best suited.
I love that two separate pairs of people decided to sacrifice themselves for their friend (each in their own way) That guy who ender pearl'd out clearly showed his commitment. He didn't even hesitate, he saw his friend being pushed back out and decided: "Not today." And Thanos, thinking quick, decided to die by fall damage (which was the fastest possible way to save Wood). Thanos owed his life to Wood, and gave it back when the time came. It's so beautiful.

This is the most underrated Ish video. It usually is forgotten due to its short length and the other vids being more memorable, but this one is still great, and has the most brutal, heartbreaking ending of all the Minecraft civilization videos on UA-cam
That ending hit on so many levels- Thanos_chicken's sacrifice, the group who just accepted their fate not wanting to kill- dang, I'm on the verge of shedding tears xD

And after woodaddy saved chickens life and let him live with him, chicken repayed his gratitude by sacrificing himself so that woodaddy could escape. Both sacrifices at the end were so cool. The one who enderpearled out the very moment he saw his friend couldn't escape just to make it to where he could despite having to give his own life for that, and then when Thanos sacrificed himself for Wood without even elaborating, letting him escape last second.
I appreciate that Solev isn't afraid to mix things up, he played three different characters for all three experiments. Ish has gotten himself some very quality role players for his experiments.
this was literally such a masterpiece. Selev was such a great character, we all loved thanos chicken and wooddaddy's friendship and then the sacrifice thanos chicken made was tear jerking. I also found it so fitting how hopebounty went down with her peoiple bcus she seemed like that kind of leader. a cinematic masterpiece
The music, the ending, the everything. It's all perfect. WoodDaddy is the true embodyment of "pay it forward" and THANOS_CHICKEN repayed that kindness that was payed to him in his near-death state. 20/10, litterally only comparable to the state experiment on terms of minecraft quality videos in 2021, and am looking forward to what we're offered this year!

I was watching this all casually and then they said something along the lines of "all the players knew their one hope of salvation was to find a cow" and while I didn't laugh out loud, I really really wanted to because that's *hilarious*

This series is so successful because it is both an entertaining story and a naturally occurring one. The "characters" are very relatable and you can understand their actions because they really aren't characters at all. They're real people who all have their own experiences. The storytelling of this series is also genius because it allows you to root for and develop a connection with these people, while seeing how their actions affect the experiment. Amazing video and amazing series; I hope it continues.
You, you can really see how solev changed from the first season he was once a Good Dictator, to lead his people to properity through force and power , but in this season he became a lot more soft, but still has a good aim.

His friend killed him, and he was able to enter the plane. T_T

It's called surviving man. Those things are the rule not the exception, across all species. The peace and civilization that we live with is and incredible event that took immense effort from generations and is still just a blip in the history of life.
@@privatezim3637 Nah man. While I do agree that some of these aspects are mandatory and simply a part of human nature and survival, we should be above that. Like that guy in the Jungle society. It is a known fact that a bucket or two of milk are always a must in Minecraft. So, instead of chasing his own greedy ideas of wealth and domination with that one cow, imagine If he kept milking that cow and giving everyone a bucket or two of milk? Everyone would've survived. Same goes for the Jungle leaders. They knew of his corruption and remained silent because they were safe, hence ultimately bringing down the revenge of the Jungle tribe on them. Wish things like that would happen in real life as well. We can prosper as a society, If only we started chasing our own individual goals less and taking care of others more. But, as the server moderators have shown us in the end, it all in the end came down to killing others for survival. In the end people were just forced to kill each other. And in all of that, there were those that embraced their fate, or like Thanos_Chicken, sacrificed themselves for a friend. It's just a game, for sure, but similar thing would happen in real life as well, If it came to an end of world scenario.
The 2 sacrifices in the end And hope being an underrated char refusing to k1ll and accepted her fate like the rest of her loyal friends is just a masterpiece Also an honorable mention to elanuelo being a dictator in the other video while here he's a good leader

Thoughts: Solev and Legacy are greatly developed characters in this story line. WooDaddy and Thanos Chicken had the perfect friendship we all want in life , truly saddening ending.
WoodDaddy and Thanos_Chicken were the MVPs of this experiment. Their ending together was sad, and I actually hope they became friends outside of this game.
The fact that a Minecraft challenge video can move me in a way no story has ever could is a sign of how really stories like this can really go a long way. This was truly a joy to watch, and I wish it went on for much longer. Hopefully one of these challenges carries out for an extended period of time, maybe even go episode by episode til the end of it, would be an amazing experience to watch.
the entire storyline created by WoodDaddy and Thanos_Chicken was truly a very heartbreaking one one of the best Minecraft civilization videos I've seen.
These videos are actually insane ish. The level of storytelling achieved here from a mere minecraft video is thrilling, and I’m so invested in characters like Solev and Legacy. It takes real skill to make something like this; huge kudos to you. Hope there are many more of these videos to come.

Colors left and tried to steer the jungle with a firm hand and effectively became “solev” of old with his people. This similarity presents itself in the first disaster very well. Colors has to deal with a merchant profiting off of the lives of people for diamonds which eventually leads to more strife in the jungle. solev’s nation survives this disaster bc the farmer trusted him with his cow, and this trust allowed solev to save his nation. During the aftermath of the first disaster, solev goes by himself to the jungle lands in order to assess and check on all the inhabitants of colors land. After the aftermath of the first disaster and everything settled, the scandal divided the jungle nation and thus lead to colors being killed while talking to solev in his sanctuary. Once the bombing and the deaths occurred from the jungle rebels, this event really shocks solev. I don’t think solev resigned out of fear; I think he resigned in order to avoid a war from killing more of his people. Solev had a chance to become his old self and put lives in danger but choose to put faith in the people he helped shelter. Solev never leaves the sanctuary and is seen helping his people until the last disaster.
The Last Disaster was amazing and really challenged everyone. Some died with loved ones, some killed and escaped. Solev and legacy are seen entering the tower together.

I genuinely love Solev's character in this series. In each iteration of this experiment Solev learns from previous mistakes in his attempt to become a leader people can gracefully accept and each time he's more successful than the last. By resigning and holding an election for his replacement he prevented the chain of "revenge" events that typically follow major events like that. Hope he's in the next one, really curious to see where his thought process goes from here. Imo his society did work, and I think it's why the next person they picked shared a lot of the same beliefs.
Solev IS a great leader. Sometimes i wish i could lead nations in the smp i play as well as that dude.

That guy who ender pearl'd out clearly showed his commitment. He didn't even hesitate, he saw his friend being pushed back out and decided: "Not today."
And Thanos, thinking quick, decided to die by fall damage (which was the fastest possible way to save Wood). Thanos owed his life to Wood, and gave it back when the time came.

Both sacrifices at the end were so cool. The one who enderpearled out the very moment he saw his friend couldn't escape just to make it to where he could despite having to give his own life for that, and then when Thanos sacrificed himself for Wood without even elaborating, letting him escape last second.

The fact that some of the players accepted their fate is heartbreaking, the drama is very amazing good job
This series is so successful because it is both an entertaining story and a naturally occurring one. The "characters" are very relatable and you can understand their actions because they really aren't characters at all. They're real people who all have their own experiences. The storytelling of this series is also genius because it allows you to root for and develop a connection with these people, while seeing how their actions affect the experiment. Amazing video and amazing series; I hope it continues.

Like that guy in the Jungle society. It is a known fact that a bucket or two of milk are always a must in Minecraft. So, instead of chasing his own greedy ideas of wealth and domination with that one cow, imagine If he kept milking that cow and giving everyone a bucket or two of milk? Everyone would've survived. Same goes for the Jungle leaders. They knew of his corruption and remained silent because they were safe, hence ultimately bringing down the revenge of the Jungle tribe on them.
Wish things like that would happen in real life as well. We can prosper as a society, If only we started chasing our own individual goals less and taking care of others more.
But, as the server moderators have shown us in the end, it all in the end came down to killing others for survival. In the end people were just forced to kill each other. And in all of that, there were those that embraced their fate, or like Thanos_Chicken, sacrificed themselves for a friend. It's just a game, for sure, but similar thing would happen in real life as well, If it came to an end of world scenario.

The fact that a Minecraft challenge video can move me in a way no story has ever could is a sign of how really stories like this can really go a long way. This was truly a joy to watch, and I wish it went on for much longer.
Hopefully one of these challenges carries out for an extended period of time, maybe even go episode by episode til the end of it, would be an amazing experience to watch.

These videos are actually insane ish. The level of storytelling achieved here from a mere minecraft video is thrilling, and I’m so invested in characters like Solev and Legacy. It takes real skill to make something like this; huge kudos to you. Hope there are many more of these videos to come.

So technically 100 players could have escaped the island. But less the 20 did. I love these kinds of videos.
Technically if nobody killed and entered, the timer to get in before being struck by lightning never would have started, as the timer didn't start until after the first person jumped in.
I love it when people come together to create stories like this in Minecraft.
