UPDATE ON UPBEAT: So apparently UpBeat changed their free model recently to only give you a starting allowance of 3 free downloads and you get 1 extra free one per month. I had no idea that was the case at the time of recording the video, so I thoroughly apologize for including information that isn't correct. Not going to lie, that really sucks considering the 10 free downloads per month were one of their strongest features but I guess they have to push their premium plans somehow... Still a good platform, just kind of disappointed about them changing up the main thing that made them a great choice for people with no budget...
Uppbeat is restrictive for what it allows for filmmakers using their tracks. You can't use their songs on your movie if it's gonna be on any streaming platform or basically anything besides UA-cam
Thank you for making me aware of Uppbeat! Their pricing fits my super tight budget and I especially love that their most affordable plan will let me use their music on 3 channels. PERFECT!
They're a hidden gem for sure! Found them a while back and it almost felt too good to be true but so far I've used their stuff on so many videos with absolutely no issues. Glad I was able to let you know about them 😁
Thank you for the suggestion on Upbeat! I had to unfortunately cancel my Artlist subscription, because under their updated T&C's, you cannot use anything other than their enterprise tier if your business/agency has more than 100 employees (same for Motion Array and Audiio). That would cost me between $7000 to $12,000 p/a, even though I'm a sole editor/user working in our company's in-house studio on a tiny marketing budget. Epidemic Sound and Track Club have similar restrictions. At least Upbeat is a lot more business friendly - irrespective of size, or production budget, as long as it's not for broadcast TV (though you can negotiate with them). Subbing tomorrow! :)
Artlist is one of the big names in the game for a reason 😁 But I do think some of the less known ones I mentioned are also pretty cool. I especially think UpBeat is a very underrated one that more people should know about!
Depends on how often you plan to drop episodes. All of them have good quality music but I feel like Track Club have a lot of songs that might fit that use case well. Honestly I don't think you'll go wrong with any of them. Consider which one fits your budget best. Upbeat is cool with the free tracks that refresh each month so it could be a good option if you don't want to spend money right now.
@@PANDA_ANIME_WORLD It depends. Different platforms have different licensing options. You might be able to, but it will cost you money for the license.

It wasn't a feature of my link to begin with. It was supposed to be for every free user regardless of the link but it seems they've literally just changed it to 3 free monthly downloads which top up with 1 extra every month. Which I'm not going to lie, sucks a lot and I didn't know about... Will have to pin a comment letting people know. Damn 😐

Thanks for the shoutout, George! Always sharing helpful info 🙌
I typically use Artlist, but I’ll have to check out these other options for sure!

Good educational video for an aspiring filmmaker.
I’m looking to do a “song of the day” for as my outro on my podcast. Which one would you recommend for that?

In anycase don;t use soundstripe, not allow you to upload relaxing videos with music!! Do Artlist or Epidemic is eligible for relaxing videos?
I mean, as long as you've subscribed to them I think they should allow it.
Can I use this my movie?

What if I upload a video after taking the subscription and subscription end my video get copyrighted
I'm pretty sure most of these platforms have a rule where if you make a video while the subscription is active, that video is cleared forever

Hey I was trying to use your link for UpBeat but it's saying 3 downloads a month. Is the 10 per month with your link already expired?

uppbeat is very much cool...
Agree. They made some changes since I made the video, but I still use their music often.
Hey , George, I got something important to share with you. How can i contact you? Can i shoot you a DM on instagram?
Yeah, that's an option
