I will have to disagree with you when it comes to musicbed I was going to try them again, Because I had them for one year and they stuck me in a one-year contract. The music was pretty good but I found myself getting music from other sites that was way cheaper and their music libraries seem to be about the same. but when they raise their prices to over $1,000 I said no way, there are plenty of other choices that are cheaper I do agree that they have pretty good music but there are plenty of other places where I can get music for a fraction of that price. Also not all of the music is free to use they still have some music you still have to pay for. For a price of $1,000 I should have access to all the music and their site. Sorry to rant on music bed and I know they are a paid sponsor for you but that is my opinion of music that to me it's not worth it.
Well we actually canceled our Music Bed. We found that we exhausted all the songs and could never find anything that fit our style or haven't already used. It felt like we kept landing on the same songs over and over. The problem isnt exactly resolved but we now only use sound stripe, artlist and premium beat. All three still come out cheaper than MB. When we first signed up it was all we used, but now 1 maybe 2 songs a month isnt worth it. Ill probably use some of the others that you mentioned now. Thanks for the update!

Currently in the editing throes and have such a hard time SETTLING on a song and finding the edit the way you do so well. Would love a video from you showing that process if you ever find the time! Never heard of Track Club so definitely gonna have to check that one out!

In term of a wedding film, it's PRE-CEREMONY, CEREMONY, AND POST- CEREMONY, you can choose songs to follow those 3-act Emotional journey. for ex: one cinematic happy song from setup - getting ready to first look, and another cinematic and very dramatic song to build up to the climax which might be the kiss and all the way to the resolution or grand exit. your songs dictate the emotion of the day from 0-10. that's how I go by using 2 song for a wedding highlight film. work on audio first is the key for easy editing, mark each big moment then start throwing your footages and cut your story.

I don't actually think it is true that you can keep your licensed tracks from Epidemic Sound if your subscription expires, they even specifically mention that in their FAQ portion. You can keep your songs on there, but you will get hit with a copyright claim and cannot monetize that video, if you want to do that.
The licenses on epigemic sound do not Stay with you after you cancel your subscription. If you make a UA-cam video after you've canceled your subscription with songs that you purchased months prior it's prior epidemic sound will hit you with a copyright infringement. It has happened to me. So. So even though I have songs from over 2 years ago that I've downloaded I can't use them on new videos unless I maintain my subscription
From where I understand you can't make new content after you cancelled your subcscription with the music you've downloaded however the content that you made while your subscription plan was active will always be copyright free even if you cancel your subscription.

At least two services still allow you to download full tracks without registration by just using Dev Mode in your Browser. It is good enough if the film is given to the wedding couple without being published on the Internet.
please can someone help I been paying for artlist for about 2 yrs but recently its started only playing a 20 second preview. I really used to like it playing the whole song and going to the next afterwards so i could continuously listen till I found a decent song do you know how I can make this happen again as its so fustrating having to keep going to the next while im working. Its a cool platform but will cancel account and going to another service if I cant fix this, Many thanks in advance :)
I like Matt's videos, very informative...BUT, he has not been fully informative about these sites. One thing he has not mentioned is with many of these sites, if you cancel your subscription, your rights are rescinded and you have to delete your videos that have their music embedded in them. This is an absolute nightmare weeks, months, years down the road for clients and content creators. Make sure you are aware of the fine print.
This is completely untrue. All of the sites I talked about in this video license their music in perpetuity, meaning that if you cancel your subscription the license is still valid. You won’t have to delete your videos or change them at all.
@@whoismatt I may be in error. After your free trial, Musicbed automatically contracts you to a 1yr subscription plan and if you cancel anytime before the 1yr is up, the licenses are no longer good. My point was to read the fine print as there are many limitations and possible extra fees when it comes to monetized sites, only being able to use one song for one project and so on. I use Artlist and have endless copyright issues when using artlist tracks in content I upload to Facebook and Instagram. Parts of videos muted where artlist tracks are used that I am licensed to use. Facebook are of no help at resolving the issues and neither are Artlist. Has anyone else had the same issues? Some users also say they have had similar issues with other music licencing sites also. In my opinion I would not recommend artlist if you are posting content on Facebook or Instagram.

can’t you just download hundreds of songs in your one month of paying and then use them forever? i’m confused. do they not let you do that?
