I have not imaged the Flaming Star Nebula and finally decided to put the scope that direction. What a surprise I had when SII seemed even stronger than Ha and OIII was almost nonexistent. The SII (not surpising) was more detailed, but the surprise to me was the extend of it. Filling the frame even more than the Ha. The OIII I believe is mostly not OIII but part of the reflection nebula around V* AE Aur. There are only 2 visible galaxies peaking through and just barely, the entire image is just emission nebula. Orientated this way it really reminds me of a raging forest fire. You can almost see the movemetn of the flames reach up and getting blue hot up towards V* AE Aur. I also thought the HSS+OIII palette just looked so cool and mystical.

That Sulphur image looked like a Beksinski landscape. Stunning final image.
Incredible image Frank!
Man That's JWST Level Image. I Wonder What Your Imaging Rig Looks Like? 15 Min Subs You Say? Now I Am More Eager To Know Your Setup.
It's Mind Boggling. Kudos For Everything You Did So Far For The Community
Stunning!
Love it Frank! Real nice! CS!
Thanks for another excellent video. Good to see you find time to do some astrophotography as well as making all these amazing tools for us. I know what my new SII filter will be pointed at next time we have a clear night!
happy holidays Frank
Your version inspired me to capture far more hours to bring out such amazing details.
Really nice shot
Great monochrome images for sure. I did that nebula and the tadpole together in a small refractor but yours is better I'm sure.
Thank you Frank, your software and videos have really increased my interest in the hobby. Since I live in Bortle 9+, learning narrowband processing and cosmic clarity has made it possible for me to get some nice images with pleasing colors and detail! I hope these tools integrate well into Siril in the future.
The detail is incredible, Frank! 🙌
That's gorgeous, Frank. Nicely done!
Lots of processing ideas again. Thanks :)
Outstanding!
S2 is the unsung hero of the SHO pallet. =D
Sweeeeeet! Thank you Frank. I have unprocessed data on this but might give it another go. I image at about 900mm so reckon a 2 pane mosaic might be a good idea. Not done a mosaic so interesting trial. With UK weather it might take a while to get the data!
very cool. I wonder what the forax pallet would look like. Ive messed with it a bit and sometimes really like the result
@@davechaton6771 it wasnt good. I tried it lol. Almost exactly like the hoo
I also like the Xmas version 🎉
Great👍👍👍👍👍💥💥
Excellent imaging!
What are you using to collimate the big newt?...
laser collimator that you have to collimate too lol i show what i did in my imaging newt second light video if you want to give that a watch
Hey Frank, superb work! What was your focal length - somehow missed the number? I am working with an C14 but I guess this is even with Hyperstar a multi-mosaic target…thanks
Just saw your Astrobin entry: iOptron 10in f/4 :-)
Yep, 1000mm focal length
