I think the facts need researched to avoid misinformation being reported. Sarah did NOT initially call Brian. Brian said exactly that on recording. She finally answered HIS call to her that morning. She called him back 5 minutes later asking if was on the way.
Not too many things really f*ck me up but the footage she took of him in the suitcase is f*cking brutal. He sounds so vulnerable and desperate. The aggression is in her tone....

She’s going to break records getting one of fastest guilty verdicts ever. Every time I see/hear those videos, I’m reminded how absurd her defenses are. She taunted him, recorded him while laugh, and even MOVED the suitcase. But yeah, she sounds terrified 🙄

Does she sound in fear for her life? I have never heard a battered woman laugh at her abuser and taunt him. Brian said she took a cigarette break and he had to encourage her to call the police. Initially during the 911 call she said she put him in the suitcase.

@@funkfunkableI heard an interview from a neighbor saying he heard a loud noise late that night. Like something heavy rolls down the stairs. Then I also heard the bruises on his body line up with being tossed down the stairs inside the suitcase.

Seriously, attorneys giving interviews about their current cases is the most disgusting and foolish move. Owens is just a showman. He has no business making any kind of public statements, especially if since suitcase Sarah keeps whining about how much publicity the case is getting. And for Owens to imply that everything Sarah told first responders AND the detectives about how they were having a “good day” and that it was a “good day,” and even that it was “not intentional” and that she just fell asleep and forgot. This will not be good for Boone because she will lose, and Owens’s career will probably take a hit for this ridiculous defense

She is as guilty as she can be. If she was so afraid of him she should have left him. She did this to get rid of him so she wouldn’t have to be in “fear” anymore.
Even if he abused her.. that doesn't justify her actions. Locking him up on the pretense of playing 'hide and seek', she left him to die instead of just leaving him!
It's kind of sad to see the defense pursing this strategy; they can allege self defense till the end, but it was NOT what came out of SB's mouth from the beginning. I believe that's why they're trying hard to have her interrogations dismissed. It would be laughable if it wasn't for the fact that a man was killed and laughed at while dying.

Why was Jorge there, They had a "No contact order". And Mom and Pops should have called the cops on her every time she came to the house to get Jorge, every time. They should have made it clear that she was not to be there at all.

According to an arrest affidavit, Jorge is recorded as his height being 5'04" and his weight as 140. Not a big guy. Such a horrific way to go.
In the 1st female police officers bodycam Sarah Says. By the way The police officer who you are trying to get this bodycam thrown out because she doesnt like what she said. Um ok... Sarah says to the female Officer.
"He thought it would be funny to be put in the suitcase. So i was like Ok well im going to joke with you and Ill zip you up and make him you know squirm him a little bit whatever it is but then i fell asleep.
Wrote this exactly as she said it. She repeated story multiple times But took out the make him squirm words. The action.
So when you say we dont know before or after what happened your client said it and versions of it to many times to count. I have a question too. You also said she was there at the scene for 14 hours. Means she didnt get done till 3am Is that correct?? Thought you said she went to Brians used his phone there to call Detective in the evening? I dont know. Honesty goes along way. We are listenting. As a taxpayer paying for a professional hair and makeup person daily is unsettling.....Is she not capable of doing her own if given the tools she needs. Over 75000 into her demands and defense and it continues..

Shes got 2 dogs in the house, but she says she got up around 12.30 in the afternoon, was in bed awake for a bit. Wouldn't the dogs be barking their heads off, there should have been poop n pee around the rooms they lived in. Theres no fence out back of house.

Let me be completely honest… If I were a battered woman and I watched that video and then I heard Sarah use the battered woman syndrome in court, I would be pissed off.

Sarah called 911 the next afternoon, not morning. 12-14 hours after she filmed the video.
Sarah was an abuser. The relationship was obviously toxic but she was not a battered spouse. She was free to do whatever she wanted and leave anytime, and often did. They were abusive to each other and I wouldn’t be surprised if she was the aggressor in every fight they had.
She made up the “hide and seek” to explain how he got into the suitcase.
He didn’t. I believe she hit him with the bat, and put him in it.
They weren’t laughing about it.
Ok she flipped and flopped the suitcase, she video him asking to be let out, then she went to bed and fell a sleep.

A hardened drinker who has a long history of alcohol abuse would never simply pass out asleep after [or even stop after] half a bottle of wine.

As far as the amount of alcohol, that was another of Sarah's lies. It wasn't a half bottle of wine. In her interrogation, the detective relates they found two different receipts for two bottles of wine, both purchased on the day of the crime and found empty. We also don't know the size. Maybe they were jumbo bottles. Sarah's ex Brian also related her drink of choice was vodka. We have no indication if a bottle of vodka was found during a search warrant. From the video she recorded, it is obvious she was highly intoxicated. Still, I don't know if you are trying to say she wasn't drunk enough to pass out or that she was lying about howuch she drank. The truth is her lying about it only hurt her. Though diminished capacity is not a defense for voluntary intoxication, it could still be considered as a mitigating circumstance.
CourtTV annoys me how often they get facts wrong. "Digital content" Lauren must have never even watched Boone's interrogation video to say the only information about the suitcase being flipped came from the police report. In her interrogation, Sarah is asked this specific question and freely admits, "I flipped him!" Some "expert" to not be able to retain easily accessible information from one of the most important evidentiary documents.
She’s such an actress and now alleging battered spouse syndrome or self defense. Her mocking him and he was begging that he can’t breathe. Even if she was drunk you can still know between right and wrong. Her story reporting it to the cops nobody believe it. She’s now playing , manipulating and mocking the judicial system delaying her trial. Even she got this attorney now the judge made it clear he wants to keep rolling to finally get the actual trial. I think if she was in the general population in jail not where she’s at now is completely different and I think she will have a hard time and no manipulating. With her personality I can see her getting beaten.

Life lesson: If you’re in a relationship & have a few drinks playing hide & seek…don’t make the decision to step inside a suitcase to hide. Especially when your partner is intoxicated. It could cost you your Life. Silly split second decision…& your own choice to hide a a suitcase. To climb in & zip yourself up. With a partner who is off the wall. It’s suicide. Sarah didn’t zip you up in that suitcase, you did…& it cost your Life

I watched bodycam footage from the day he was found dead. Sarah was more concerned about her Dr. Pepper and her cigarettes than poor Jorge! She didn't even shed a tear! You'd have had to scrape me off the floor if that was me!!

Never heard that accusation before. Neither have I heard about any SA for that matter.
I wonder if the defense will argue that Jorge got mad when she refused to let him out of the suitcase and threatened to kill her. And then she felt she couldn't let him out for her safety. That's the only scenario that' contains even a germ of self-defense. But it's a worse strategy than claiming that it was a quasi-accident where she meant to let him out but she passed out before she could unzip him, or where she drunkenly assumed he'd find his own way out. At least the accident scenario is consistent with many of her statements to police.

I believe they were initially upstairs, and she pushed the suitcase down the stairs, and it ended up opening side down.
