Nooo don't stop reviewing Zara fragrances! Love to get your opinion on brands that doesn’t break the bank. And they already have 3 of the black label fragrances out: Nostalgia Blue (Illias Ermenidis), Antique Brown (Honorine Blanc) and Absolutely Dark (Marion Costero - don't know her but also Givaudan)
Just tried these 3 and they are much better than the last 2 men's line releases (the Alberto Morillas and the lush tobacco one) but they are still not exactly to my liking except 1. Absolutely dark is a boring and generic shower gel blue scent, it works but it generates no feelings in me, nostalgic blue is on the other hand very unique powdery lactonic orris with a bit of spices added, which is interesting and good but not to my personal style and finally there is antique brown which is a knock out of the park and a top 5 Zara fragrances overall. It is a very creamy coconut smell with a rum note very similar to the angels share one with a background of chocolate and tobacco, I loved it.
When Zara hits, they hit. I don’t mind wading through a few bad or mediocre ones to land on the good ones. Their price point makes it fun to blind buy. In recent months I’ve scored Leather Jardin, Sacred Green Forest, Imperial Purple and Majestic Green. All of them are disgustingly good for under $40.
@@saulgoodmanandriese8658 oh man, I have quite a few. I love the Popeline Blanche. I have a few neroli frags that are great but the clean fresh soapy smell of this one is marvelous. Looking forward to wear this in spring and summer. Keep it up please with the more affordable ones. Niche and designers are sooo expensive nowadays. Thank you! 👌🌹
I just got Livre Blanc as per your recommendation and it’s a really nice clean scent which i love for every day wear. Its masculine leaning but i would say very unisex. Excited to wear it more on the warmer months. I also got Blanc Ensoleille and I fell in love ❤ it is probably the most feminine leaning out of all of them but again its very unisex. I highly suggest spraying it on skin! I find the softness and sweetness comes out when the warmth of your skin is added! It took a while to get here, I’m in Canada so we’re a bit late to the party, but since winter is almost over this is just the perfect time to pick these up!
I'm waiting to wear Sand Desert till when the weather gets colder, it's still pretty hot in Europe, and all this cinnamon seems more appropriate for winter time.
I just got blindly Vapour Blanche! I totally love it, on skin is even better, definitely the cedar is very strong and quite resinous. For sure the inspiration for this scent is a wooden sauna with eucalyptus steam. Isn't reinventing the wheel but for the price is quite fantastic. Can't wait to try Livre Blanc too! Thanks for the video. 😁
In the last 6-4 weeks Zara has 4 new collections plus a Vanilla one on the way, A couple of additions to old collections, plus Barbie. 25+ fragrances in one month and more on the way. I'm so overwhelmed I probably wont buy anything.
I think you will need to resist temptation as Zara will keep pumping these fragrances out! Every time I thought they would stop they keep on coming back with more 😂. I've learnt to stop going out of my way to check them out now. They also seem to be annoying a whole load of people by constantly putting out fragrances and then discontinuing them shortly after. Bergamot Leather Spritz comes to mind.
I really hope you will take a chance on the new Vanilla line before swearing off Zara. I think you would love Hypnotic Vanilla, Vanilla Starlight and Vanilla Supreme!
Livre Blanc is my favourite out of the four. It strongly reminds me of (discontinued) L'eau blanche by Iunx, also by Giacobetti. Vapeur Blanche smells nice but is a bit piney and somehow reminds me of the scent of a toilet cleaner!
Greetings Sebastian, I was hoping you'd do this review! It is very helpful! I like wearing something very airy, light, and inspiring after taking a shower for my first half of the day. Then I switch so something more substantial, so I got really excited when I saw this line! I can now move forward with my purchase! Most definitely Livre Blanc and Vapeur! Thank you so much! Thank you so much!!
I came across this video because I was looking at this perfumer in particular who created Ambre Romain fragrance for all the Fendi store around the world and I was working as a personal shopper in Paris for years and Fendi store has by far the best olfactory experience.
I bought those 4 Zara in 30ml only because of the Giacobetti's vibe but they smell just ok for me, that's not a wow like Iunx fragrances were. I loved l'Eau Sento from Iunx but unfortunelatly Iunx is over 😢 Thank you Sebastian. Oh in Livre Blanc, we don't pronounce the 'c' at the end of 'Blanc' 😉
Hi Sebastian, you were right to pronounce the "é" of "ensoleillé" 😉... "vapeur blanche" meaning "white steam" + the way you describe it, cedar and eucalyptus, would it be an impression of a sauna ? All you said sounds good, I'll have to put my nose on "Livre blanc" and "popeline blanche"!
I think the sauna idea might be right. In regards to steam it wasn't steamy but I can envision the woodiness of a sauna but not the steam with the fragrance. I have to re-sniff now.
Well good luck because I’m pretty sure there’s already three new ones 😂😅. Nostalgia Blue, Antique Brown, and Absolutely Dark. Unless these have been around and I just didn’t know. But I’ve never seen them before until just now.
I see Jaipur Homme in the background, what a great, underappreciated classic. My father still wears it. It's funny that it's what he considers a 'light' fragrance even though it's a powdery, spicy oriental.
Light is not a word I’d use to describe Jaipur Homme! Sometimes I wear it to bed and it’s still going full bore when I wake up in the middle of the night.
I don't mind the Zara reviews especially when you recognize the nose behind the scent. I don't think i need to grab those ones. The local Zara's are always a zoo to shop at, so I'd have to really want it try it.
I only own two Zara fragrances and I’m good with their performance. I don’t have a store near me but may have to venture out a little further to check them out.
I think I've smelled those last 2 perfumes but the one i remember i liked was Lush Vetiver. Anyway, can't wait for those Olivia Giacobetti collection to hit our Zara stores here.
I'm a lady that loves clean fragrances and bought the set. I'm hoping that eucalyptus one reminds me of the eucalyptus grove from my college years. Also bought the two bonus ones Kilian is out of my price range.
As soon as you said this reminds me of Comme des Garcons Zagorsk … I went to Zara online and purchased 2 bottles lol! I loved that one, plus I’m a freak for Comme dea Garcons ! Thanks a lot and nice review as always!
This collection is not available in German brands yet and I am not feeling like blind buying it especially after that oid collection that I didn't like at all! I wish there was one more gourmand or animalic Musk in this collection though
Ok finally you managed to smell those two in the bonus at least :) "Warm Black" still pending, maybe some day after your Zara-break, we'll see. They are pricier in the USA, here in Europe at least those two in the bonus are €10 less than that amount. PS. Btw the one similar to imagination, in its drydown I find some remote similarity to L'Homme Ideal Cologne
I bought the first 2 in 25ml sizes (blind). Based on the notes they are exactly what I like, but they are too weak for me, even for a skin scent. One of my favorite scents is Fleur de Peau and that performs great (as it should for the price). Sand Desert at Sunset I bought full-size, but again.. The performance is quite bad. I use Livre Blanc on my sheets by the way 😅.
For me zara perfumes are good for their price but you can always tell the difference in quality. And second of all most of them disappear after a while on my skin and they dont project at all.
Oh yes. I'm in Uk London today and Italy soon then France. I'll see if I can stop into a Zara to see what's out there now. I just don't want to buy and lug back zara fragrances back to the states though.
Dear Perfume Guy: I really enjoy your Videos. They are great. But PLEASE take a French course (in Grasse, maybe....?). The pronunciation of French perfume names is not that difficult ;)

Antique brown sounds right up my alley.. thanks for the description and the heads up

Sunrise on the red sand dunes is superb. Everytime i wear it i really enjoy my scent bubble. The combination of ginger and citrus notes is perfect
I LIVE FOR A CLEAN MUSK. I don’t typically go to Zara for fragrance but I love Olivia’s work so I gotta check out this line.
Which are your favorite musky scents in general?
@@saulgoodmanandriese8658 oh man, I have quite a few. Here’s a small list in order of favorites first
Phlur- Missing Person
Musc Intense (discontinued but available on eBay)-Narciso Rodriguez
Egyptian Musk oil- Kuumba
Myth- Ellis Brooklyn
White Fire- Tiziana Terenzi
Muschio Bianco- Acca Kappa (mossy musk)
White Suede-Tom Ford (suedey musk)

Moscow Mule- JHAG

What about MFK 724 and Byredo Blanche?@@funeats8201

I love the shift from the citrusy note to the tea note in Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes
Thank you for reviewing, very helpful for us poor and huddled masses.

Sunrise on the red sand dunes and Sand Desert at Sunset are available in 30ml , perfect for having in bag to re spray.
oh yes those little ones are perfect for that! :)
She also did Hiris by Hermès. I love love love her creations.
YES. I just sniffed it again today in Harrods London. Strange coincidence! :)
I like wearing Zara perfumes for work. They are strong enough, but not overwhelming
I'm a big fan of Olivia Giacobetti. She did a collection for Honoré des Prés a while back. Iunx was her own line. It's nice to see something by her.
Thanks Sebastian. I’ve just purchased them yesterday, and after your review I can't wait to receive them on Wednesday.
I'm waiting to wear Sand Desert till when the weather gets colder, it's still pretty hot in Europe, and all this cinnamon seems more appropriate for winter time.
To me, Sand Desert at Sunset, it’s Angel’s Share little brother.
Angel’s Share is a beast in my skin, so for the office, the Zara one works for me.
The red sand dunes is soo good ✌🏻
I don't mind ZARA at all 😍
I just got blindly Vapour Blanche! I totally love it, on skin is even better, definitely the cedar is very strong and quite resinous.

Oh sand desert is beautiful. Angel share is beautiful and I love the dna

Probably that awful Musc aroma chemical.
Olivia is one of my favorite perfumers, so I'm excited to try them and I'm happy you like them x
I have a feeling the new Vanilla line by Zara may have you back for a video….I hope so at least!
I'm hoping so!

Sand desert is a gorgeous gourmand. I considered Zara semi mediocre when it came to their fragrances. However I quite like sand desert at sunset
That first one Libre Blanc sounds appealing.

What about their new vanilla collection? You’ve got to review those.

I really enjoyed your reviews. I would love to see an Argos fragrances review from you 🙏
There is a collection of Vanilla coming from Zara, please do the review! I can’t buy a perfume unless I hear your opinion 😅

Livre blanc is so good.
Love Olivia Giacobetti, and would like to try these.
She's certainly great.
I don't mind the Zara reviews.
I. would like to buy livre blanc. (White paper/book)
How many collections is Zara going to launch?? 😂 i am not complaining though, i like quite a few of them
Nice review! Waiting for them to appear in store near me. 😊
Oh cool. They are very clean the first two I spoke about.
Damm zara is pumping fragrances like crazy. Who can keep up with then 😅
The dropped 4 Vanillas, come on one more 😂
Oh yes and I love vanillas! LOL!
Thank you for the review
I love their 2016 zara tonka ganache the best, too bad they never released them anymore.
Loved the blanc ensolielle. It smelt quite expensive
It's a pretty good collection.

Im a fan of musk, blanc a porter form zara and livre blanc
woah so many Zara perfumes
The coconut one didn’t give me any marine like smell, go figure. I’d like to try them all. Pretty decent line.
It was more about a saltiness and so it gave me a marine beach vibe! ;)
I really like many of the Zara frags!!! Have you ever reviewed they Kayali line? They have some nice fragrances ❤
Thanks Maestro.
Wonderful 🎉🎉🎉

You're welcome! :)
If you never do a Zara review again, I’ll be fine

You should wear the fragrances before you reccomend any of them. Not worth $40. So many better ways to go. You're recommending skin scents.
Really? It's a first impressions video. And many people want skin scents. The world is not just about you buddy! ;)
These are pretty light scents. I wont buy them.
