The investigation quickly found that the reason the white Ford pickup used in the attack, crossed the border was simply because it's a Texas rental truck. The truck with the same TX. License plate was driven across the border by a completely different renter. The investigation quickly found that the reason the white Ford pickup used in the attack, crossed the border was simply because it's a Texas rental truck. The truck with the same TX. License plate was driven across the border by a completely different renter. Just like there was a suspicion by the investigation that other people were involved, leaving IEDs in the French Quarter but retracted after realizing that it was the same American guy from Texas.
Canadian here who used to live in the USA [there are always a million of us down there, usually in key managerial, education, medical or research positions] and I have NEVER wanted my country to be a state in the US. I’m a Canadian engineer working for a global company and travel to the US regularly and I don’t understand the theory that borders are “wide open”. If you take a wrong turn and end up near the Windsor/Detroit border you get chased down and questioned. Can someone help to explain how birders are wide open? Doesn’t the US control entry points entering rather than Mexico or Canada? Airports are even harder than land crossings. I don’t get it
