Here's the summary of the malpractices carried out across the county:
    1- Not Approved IMEIs
2- Selling fake International (global / factory unlocked) models (Originally Logo models)
3- Re-Packing Used Devices and sold as new.
4- Selling locally refurbished models as new/used
5- Selling software unlocked non Jevey/JV/Gevey iPhones as factory Unlocked
6- Swapping out genuine parts and accessories for copies to hamper the device performance (charging extra for accessories)
7- Sellers modify the PTA app or website to show all IMEIs entered as approved
8- Changing of IMEIs to some old devices on the PTA database to avoid the PTA tax eventually rendering the device stuck on a particular software (No Updates) or risk of getting busted.
9- Unlocking carrier locked phones on a particular OS version and selling them as genuine international models (Extension of point no.2)
Google the codes for checking your device while buying
    Some Test Codes are
    *#0*#
    #*#4636'*'
    *#808#
Check you serial/Make/Model/Color/Date Of Production on IMEI.INFO by dialing *#06#
