This is really good my man. Really good. This song seems to bring out the best in a lot of artists. You really do have your own sound on this. Your vocals are stellar, if not necessarily unique to other covers of this song. The raspy, heavy voice is one that seems to be drawn to make a cover of Hurricane (head nod toward Laine Hardy). But your riff work with guitar chords is unique to other covers and you hold the notes at the end of each phrase longer than most people which creates another unique touch that I have to say I prefer to most versions of this song. A lot people rush through the verses to get to that chorus, but you take your time and it builds the song up nicely. I am aware that I am commenting three + years late to the party, but I had to say something. Very nice job.
Man I really appreciate your in depth review of my cover! I'll be honest I think alot of the reason I emphasize the guitar riffs and the way I hold out the end of the words is because of my lack of technic on how to end words properly.. it actually makes it really hard to play along with other people because instead of playing "in time" I make the guitar patterns fit my vocals instead. I do like to really live in a song when I'm singing though. I myself really don't like when people rush a song along just to get through it. It lacks the feeling or story when performed in a haste. Also..I covered this song before ol' Hardy boy performed this on idol lol I'd like to think he took some of my style 😂 (just kidding) . Thanks again!

If I remember right. I believe I used the chords listed on ultimate guitar and capo on 3 but….I think I had my guitar tuned down a half step or even a whole step. I hope this helps…

I think I'm tuned either a 1/2 step down or a whole step down...then I just capo on 3 and pick out the chords as they are originally I just slow it down a bit.
