I have mine set up to show the setlist rigs on the top row of switches while the scenes for the rig chosen show up and are on the bottom set of switches. I went into setlist view, chose my setlist, then went into hybrid view to do that.
I do that as well. :)
There is so much to learn about this thing. I'm trying to work out the most practical way to use it live. Do I create and program a new patch for every single song, or should I simply create clean, rhythm and lead tones with a couple of fx options and use those same sounds all night? I think option 2 would cut out a lot of tap dancing but I don't think I'd be using to anywhere near it's potential :/. Option one sounds like a lot of work :/
Darren Turner option 2 is what I would do. Look at your set and figure out what tones you use the most. Create those rigs and put it in Hybrid view so you see the rigs up top and the scenes/pedals on the bottom. That would be plenty for most players.
Once I get all my “how to” videos uploaded I will start concentrating on building rigs and showing practical uses.
I find sounds I like, maybe tweak them to my liking, save them as a song name, then create my set lists from that. That way they're sequenced in the order I put them and it's generally 1 step per song. I absolutely love this thing and the Dr McFarland videos have been instrumental in my education of utilizing features on the Headrush. He's definitely worth subscribing to and setting the alerts for each gem he posts for the Headrush.
fatherof3kidz thanks for the advice. That is an awful lot of programming to do for 300 songs though. I'll be there forever :/
Doctor McFarland Studios thanks Doc. Is there a way to control which rigs you see up the top in hybrid view? It seems they come up randomly :/ Can I create, say, 4 rigs with 3 scenes in each one and then have those rigs set along the top?
When you save scenes, are you able to recall them and use them in the future?
mikmik licayan scenes work within rigs and they only work in context with the rig they are in. You can save presets of FX blocks and reuse them in different rigs.

Do headrush has snapshots like line 6?
Headrush uses scenes and they are setup in Hardware Assign
Newbie here...So I have 3 or 4 rigs per song, basically separated by verse, chorus, etc...how do I organize them in a setlist? Thanks!!
I would use the Song view for that.
@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios thanks! I can’t seem to find much info on UA-cam about that though…

@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios would it be possible to create one setlist per song with the different rigs?
Hello can i control ext amp ?
You can do this with Midi if the amp has this capability
Nice, answers how I can use it live. So I can have a scene where I have compression on the clean and switch to a dry drive tone with maybe some eq mid boost no compression. With one switch.
A bit to learn, though looks to tick all the boxes.
Does it have an acoustic simulation for an elec guitar. I’d like to have an acoustic rig for my acoustic to for those type of gigs
Scott Mac yeah just setup your scenes with any combination of effects you want and switch between them.
Can you SAVE with your foot?
batmandeltaforce there may be an auto save in the global settings on page 3. I need to do a video on that.
I know now, you save on the unit, but you can set it so that, if you have changed a rig and try to leave it, it can ask you if you want to save it... or not
