    Now I don't want to be wrong, but the talented Jenna Ortega was born in Palm Desert. She is an actress, professional dancer and now also a successful writer. She is currently one of the most requested actresses in Hollywood and her book It's All Love has become a best seller. We will hear about her in the future and in any case there must be good air in Palm Desert 🙂

    3 1/2 months of bad weather is a little low ball. To me, it can be uncomfortable starting in April with June through Sept being unbearable.

      From someone who’s lived here all her life, I’d say that’s pretty accurate. There are about 3 1/2 months where we get zero relief from the heat. Doesn’t cool down at night. We are currently approaching mid June and our mornings and evenings are beyond beautiful. I don’t mind the warm days. Hot nights are not fun.

      Air-conditioning is just left on. High electric bills can develop but I've lived in Vegas and even if I'm spending those months indoors at least the sun is shining and offering natural light. I've spent the bulk of my life in New England and Scotland UK. New England winters drag on forever and once again you're stuck inside, then you may have a rainy Spring. Scotland is just plain rainy. For someone who suffers with SADD in those climates I could handle sun year round. I've lived in MX also and saw great improvement in my well being. I don't like humidity so CA would be a good choice for me. I am a water girl and love living by the shore which I do in Scotland but not much fun with all the rain.

    Thank you for this great video about living in Palm Desert. We live up in Seattle, been living here for the past 18 years. Moved up here from the Bay Area which we loved a lot. Although Seattle has been good to us, we're now looking to move back to CA in about 2-3 years, most probably the San Diego area or the Palm Springs area this time. We want to have a small veggie garden where we can harvest our own food all year round. This is almost impossible to do in Seattle. :-) We are thinking of doing a tour of the area during spring break next year and see what areas we like.

      Deciding between those two areas is going to be very challenging, because both are so beautiful and have so much to offer. What it will come down to is affordability as the PS area is much more affordable than SD and you can get more bang for your buck here. But it really all depends what you’re looking for. Skies the limit! ;)

    Palm Springs is not use to be clean like before! Now you see thousands homeless trashing the Palm Springs area. You see them as much as LA. Palm Desert seems to be less homeless but has more deserts! Fewer markets area! It’s hot lol!

      Yes! Well sort of, Coachella is an actual city name out here but the Coachella music festival is located in Indio. :)

    I love the Coachella Valley....very concerned about crime and pricing. So many people leaving California scares me. I live in Canada but have concerns now. I was considering to buy a secondary home.

      It's true lots of people are leaving California but there are tons coming into this state too. That's where the majority of my business comes from - people relocating here. Home prices here are adjusting as they should. In fact, pricing adjustments are happening across the country as we come down from inflated prices. We are fortunate here in the desert as our prices were never inflated to being with like our sister cities - LA and San Diego. With that said, the city of Palm Springs will see the biggest adjustment because of investors inflating the market by investing in short-term rentals. The rest of our cities here in the Coachella Valley are still seeing year-over-year gains in every market. Time will tell as to what exactly will happen in California but it's important to remember that not every market is the same. :) Would love to chat with you further about this so reach out anytime. Hello, Thinking of relocating, are you walking through a public area? I love that there is water/ponds/lakes to run through even if you are not located in a HOA area.
    Namaste

      @BrandyValentineRealEstate  Рік тому +2

      It is a public area. :) It's the Palm Desert Civic Center Park and it's by far my favorite park here in the desert. I love the ponds, plenty of walking paths, a playground, volley ball & tennis courts, lots of grass for playing, and tons more. I hope you have the opportunity to check it out one day. If you have any other questions reach out anytime. (760) 507-1282 Hope to chat soon!

    what's the crime rate in Palm Desert? has the homeless crisis reached Palm Desert yet?

      @@TheGinamac79 I agree with you on some things but not all. Our quality of life here is much better than most. That has to do with weather. Our weather is incomparable to other states. Other states have snow, tornadoes, hurricanes etc…what do we have? The beach, sunny days, clear skies. All the stuff that Newsome is doing is beyond our control. The only people that can control that are the ones that vote for that man. All we can do is continue being a good person and pay our taxes like we all should. Also, stop complaining because complaining doesn’t get anyone anywhere. Have you personally experienced crime?

      @@richardsanty9063 gosh I’m sorry you see that. Not all areas are filled with crime. Every city has bad areas. Every state has bad areas. Look at Boston, I wouldn’t live there no way. I just don’t see what that other person is talking about.

      It’s definitely changed over the years but it all depends on what you’re looking for these days. PS is more touristy and PD is more family like.

    • @someinternetdude4159
      @someinternetdude4159 9 місяців тому

      @@BrandyValentineRealEstate Well, as someone who's seen it since the 70's, and who's family has seen it since the 50's, PS isn't at all what it used to be. It's gone way way way downhill since the heyday of the 80's. Palm Desert is also touristy but a different caliber of tourist I would say. But, you know, to each their own. Some people prefer functional roads, clean streets and family friendly while others prefer seediness, homeless everywhere and dysfunctional city government. It's all good I suppose.
