I had to go to Lowes in Palm Springs to buy a 40 space Fuse Box for a new hot water heater I am installing on my own. I was at the Panda Express in Cathedral City eating Terriaki Chicken. I am Sorry. Cathedral City is not a dump. In the sunny day it seemed fine. I was there at night and thought it seemed dangerous. I dont know the area of Cathedral City. wrong first impression.

My favorite place. My family and I started camping at Lake Hemet when I was a young kid, and I’ve been going to both Lake Hemet and Idyllwild continually since then (and I just turned 50). I love Idyllwild and the San Jacintos!!! I thought I’d have my own cabin up there by now, but nooooooo! 😢

so glad you did not mention cathedral city. I drove to a harbor freight there to buy a garage air compressor. that city is a dump. Of course the city of san Bernardino takes the title as the worst dump with corrupt people in high places. including the entire board of directors. Dawn Rowe State REP is the worst. she is lazy as crap, San Bernadine is now the most dangerous city in all of California 74 murders in 2023. all of Chicago had like 600 and its a much bigger city.

What are the Unit Sales and Inventory vs Nov 23 for Palm Springs and would you say part of the reason the city may be turning into a buyers' market is because of the drop in Airbnb prices due to the change in city regulations, which may have caught many buyers who bought during the pandemic flat footed? I'm getting into tiny homes. there are some real cool modern tiny homes pre built and delivered. just land a nice multi acer lot and go for it. you can even buy like a 3 acer lot and plant 4 to 6 $60K PRE BUILT tiny homes on the land. rent out the 4 to 6 tiny homes. 1 year leases. hate air b&b. be your own property manager. all tiny homes on 1 lot. kinda a tiny home village. with drive ways and landscaping.

eisenhower best hospital for cancer out here in the desert. bunk beds. loved that bed in the Disney house. I want to buy 3 king or queen double bunk beds metal frames for all 3 bedrooms of my Joshua Tree house. ripping out everything wood. going polished concrete slab. metal doors. metal door jams. fire proof my home as much as I can.

IDYLLWILD is a beautiful spot without doubt, and like all beautiful spots they are very, very high FIRE RISK... so Brandy, would I be able to get insured in this climate of insurance companies dumping those that embrace mother nature? I filmed on location here in the 1980's, and even then the studio had to take out extra high fire-risk insuranceeven then for a 2-week shoot. If memory serves all of us crew used to go to a restaurant called the Red Kettle, a local institution for numerous film crews as well as for locals. My late friend worked on Elvis' KID GALLAHAD in 1961, and he encouraged me to move here... Good presentation Brandy, you must be using a GoPro or something, and to think of all the equipment we use to have truck up there!

Amazing Brandy. If you want information about desert, she's been whole life there, born, raised..and living there, knows how it was decade ago, how is now etc.. It's really important to have a person who knows area, soul of it and how is developing, what is fake and what is really good deal. And my opinion about this luxurious houses.. yeah location is ok, houses are pretty.. does it worth that prices.. ummm maybe, idk.. What i don't like is when everyone is smiling and being super nice.. but they don't mean it lol.. Anyway i hope you will find perfect home to stay forever in the desert or if you planning to have it as vacation place to rest your soul for few months. ( i would stay forever, trust me it's amazing 😁)

Good video. Just sharing my experience. I’m outside often because I grow food. . I’ve seen 4 snakes in 5 years. first scorpion ever in my pool dead. 2 Bob cats. I’m near the mountain in La Quinta so yes it’s normal to have more wildlife. Lots of bats but they don’t bother you.. I live here full time and summer is brutal! 2 months of 115 daily many 120 days. It is hot at night all night 24/7. I love it here in October,through April. So beautiful!! You need to get away in the summer for a break. It’s hard on doggies too! They can burn paws. Be careful! Southwest christian church in Indian wells is fantastic for all ages! There are Catholic Churches too.
